Hello guys. I'm a petroleum inspector in Nigeria. I wish to relocate to UAE or any of the gulf regions as an inspector.

I have searched and gotten offers for petroleum inspector jobs in the UAE and other gulf regions but as not been present on ground is kind of not helping matters.

So I am tinking of securing a 1 month visa, stay in a hotel and then personally apply in person to the companies.
I will like to know if a work permit is attached to the UAE visas

So how best do you think I should go about it?

you got offer as in they are interested in employing u or just job openings. You can schedule a meet with them , get a 1 or 3months visa and attend the interviews or just a 3months visa to come and search for ur dream job. Work permit isn't attached to uae visas . u only get a work permit/residence visa issued wen your employment has been approved by the ministry of labour or any other relevant authority in uae.

I believe I saw a response regarding this wen u posted it. Every visa has a 2months validity so getting it now means u have to travel before d end of September. So apply 30-50days before ur travel date. Unless u plan loosing ur money or being in a rush

you can apply for ur visa, Dats if u r sure of getting the 200k before 2months. More so airlines can't give u 90days visa unless u get excess money to spend/waste.

Dnt misquote me, i didnt say d whole 20K shd b given to d immigration officer ooo, it depends on hw d individual "bargain for" with d offiver, bt he always tell me as a first time traveller hold @ least 20K @ hand, cos dose immigration and airpline personel will ask of egunje frm u once
they knw d traveller is a first timer, i can bet u d 2K will make u miss ur flight..

I don't advice anyone going to meet any insider. Just be bold and u would scale trough wit less than 5k cos those insiders would take ur money and disappear after immigration clearance and they fone the next team to stop the person again and at that point u can't go back to meet him for assistance

Didn't he read his Labour contract before signing and Thumb printing on it? You should have a copy of your Labour contract and Employment visa in case the need for it arises.

ma'am sometimes they would just attach few copies and leave out some pages and then tell u to sign. At the end they would attach the essential parts and submit to mol. My contract was 7pages while the one they gave a new in take is just 4 and the essential parts were removed they gave him the ones that needed signatures. Sometimes the employers are smatter.

once u have a labour card and a personal number on it or even a code like this, MB************AE u can use it to check ur contract details on the mol website. Or just call mol and they would give u wat u need.

I've never heard anyone say he/she got an employment with either BSc/HND, all I've been readin is HSE cert, NSE cert, HDD, bla bla bla(pardon me, I can't remember) . For those that got employment with our 9jerian Cert, please share in details. Tnk u all.

there is only 1 and 3 months available for job seekers. Better to have a 3months . processing the employment visa is supposed to be free of charge once u r on ground but some employer Might charge u up to 4000 which is illegal. U need to exit via ur home country or nearby countries for visa change unless the company is ready to pay the extra charge to change it internally. Yes you can change a job after 6months once u meet the terms on ur contract. Hope I gave u wat u needed
