PoliticsRe: Amaechi Invited For Road Inspection By Rivers PDP by nattyhero(m): 8:59am On Apr 17, 2016
Abagworo:
What I see on that list are Amaechi's roads and bridges. How myopic could these people be? Rubbing tar on a good road does not mean reconstruction. Someone recently posted Azikiwe road being repaved claiming it to be Aba Road. Meanwhile Azikiwe Road has never been bad.
You speak as if Amaechi constructed those roads with his personal funds, maybe u Re forgetting how much accrued to the state during his 8 years. Ppl like u claimed he has completed trans Amadi road.. Wike is working

In this same Rivers State I live in?
When did the present government flag off and "complete" these projects?
Most of these listed projects were started and as good as completed by the previous government!
May we not all be blinded by political affiliations.
Posterity will judge.
You don't know what u are saying, the last administration. Left a lot of uncompleted projects, most were like 30% completed. That's how u ppl claimed Amaechi has completed trans Amadi road. I respect Wike for one thing he is a grassroot man he said he will complete all the uncompleted projects of the last administration. Ask yourself does it make any sense to start new projects when uncompleted ones litter everywherehuh For your information Wike started and completed Woji road project. I live there. Akpajo road is ongoing and many new ones side by side the ones ur lord left uncompleted. Try as hard as u can rivers ppl love Wike. And for ur info am a Deltan who resides here

I dn't think a real car owner will leave his car like this for days.
Could it be that someone was kidnapped, put in the trunk and maybe when they wanted to transfer the victim, they left it open and zoomed off. If you know anyone that is looking for his Avalon "Ship" 2005 - 2009, you may have to inbox me.

The same APC government you accuse of incompetence and hatred for the SE/SS, made provision for a coastal rail infrastructure between Lagos and Calabar- benefiting several SE and SS states

The things on ground cannot justify the 60billion he's borrowed so far + even the 100billion FG reimbursed the state.
Na now una go see methodical stealing.
Projects amaechi left at 90+% are what wike is claiming has chopped the money.
Civil servants are being owed, refuse has appeared again.....
Maybe you are too young to remember but amaechis 1st Year in office was GRAND.
Wike's?? Not at all.
Even if Wike owes 10 months salaries no problem so far APC has no standing in rivers.

Cos I can stand anywhere in diobu and name 3 ameachi projects that u can see

As for y ameachi could not pay workers. .. If Jonathan had paid him the money which he owed the state... we won't have gotten to that state

Until u are ready to name wike project quote me not
I really feel pained by your reasoning. Ppl like you makes abandoned projects litter everywhere. Does it really make sense to start new projects when uncompleted projects litters the whole state? For your info Wike said he won't start new projects until old ones are completed. Why didn't Amaechi complet trams Amadi road?
2. Why didn't Amaechi complete trans Woji road?
3. Why didn't Amaechi complete the 2nd slaughter bridge?
4 for 8 years why didn't Amaechi complete akpajo-Woji bridge
5. Small Woji village road why didn't Amaechi touch it?
There are so many uncompleted projects in the state, does it make common sense to start new projects?

political lies, where is wike borrowing this money from? is not from d excess crude act Ameachi left? while other gov hav finish lavishing there's. by the way where is d revenue Riverstate generates daily? And the federal allocation monthly, billions of naira what is he using them to do, preparing to spend more money in mobilizing tugs for the remaining rerun, how did Ameachi met in d purse when he resumed office ask ur self? your wike is busy patching roads of multi billions of naira
If Amaechi actually left any money is rivers treasury then why did he say he wonders how Wike will manage the state since there was no money when he left?
2. If actually there was money in the coffers why did amaechi owe civil servants upward of 6 months salaries when he left power
3. If the was money why didn't Amaechi pay sharks and dolphins salaries for over 8 months
4. If the state had such funds why didn't he pay the school fees of oversea students on scholarship?
5. If not for anything other reason why didn't Amaechi
Pay the poor old pensioners for over 6 months
To summarize the story he is a very wicked fellow. Yet he had funds to sponsor APC.
Let Wike borrow 100 billion more. Rivers ppl love him

Hypocrisy in this country stinks to high heavens. You see people insulting Islam over what is a norm in the suppose "holy south" were a girl leaves her parents home to be with her man friend even when she is 14yrs. The funny thing about the people insulting Islam is that they are dirty people doing all sorts of dirty and abominable things.

How can a sane man "abduct" a supposed sane girl from beyelsa to kano without her full consent? Does it even make any sense? So yunusa forced the girl into a cab all the way from bayelsa to kano without facing any resistance from her or without anybody noticing? This is the very vital question the "holy ones" need to ask themselves
It's so sad I am confused you can reason this way if the guy is sane he won't take a kid to Kano without her parents consent. Maybe you think it's normal to defile a 14 year old girl. I wonder how you think. I don't wanna use raw words here. But down south children aren't married out(u called it elope) but we read she was married off. Yinusa is just a beast. The same way little kids are brainwashed to carry out suicide bombing is what they did to Ese. Very soon when she is with her parents whatever they used on her will clear off her head. On a lighter mood if it doesn't clear just 1 thunderous slap will reset her brain. Good riddance to bad rubbish

What's the point you made. He gave a good reason and those in final year aren't affected. Anyway, congrats to Wike who should be busy thinking of how to surpass Amaechi's achievements in order to justify his supporters confidence in him.
Trade off kor trade off ni I have Always maintained that rivers is a pdp state if the elections were conducted a 100 times Wike will win. Reasons been that not that they hate Dakuku but Amaechis perceived betrayal of ex presido GEJ. Quote me anywhere in a free and fair election APC can't win any SS state. As for him surpassing Amaechi ask urself how much is the state allocations right now taking into cognisance federal allocations based on oil price fall? But with what av seen in PH because I am based there Wike is working. Ask any rivers man.

Ask yourself if Amaechi had completed those projects will Wike still dwell on them? Wike promised to complet all the projects Amaechi didn't complet except the flying monorail and that's exactly what he is doing. Have you forgotten when Amaechi said he wondered where Wike will get money to run govt? The last administration didn't leave a dime in the state coffers. Get ur facts right. Hahahahha you should thank Wike that he chose to continue the projects Amaechi started, if he decides to start his own you will find u completed projects everywhere. Lets not be partisan Wike is transforming rivers state with the meager resources. Now we can sense how deflated their confidence have become- from Wike WILL win to "he should work hard and hopefully, he will win".

[quote author=MadCow1 post=41578209]Cool down small sir.

Lagos is not Uyo. Fashola outclassed Akpabio pound for pound in terms of projects and the terrain in which they were executed.

Ask for Calabar, the moment they lost their oil wells to both Cameroon and Akwa Ibom, they were fhucked for life. I visited middle of last year and could not believe it was the same Calabar I served in.

Ask for Port Harcourt, Wike has not done any road worthy of mentioning. Almost all the roads are Amaechi roads and they were

never abandoned at any stage of Amaechis tenure.[/quote

Tell me something, hahahahha, why don't you ask yourself how much Amaechi collected as allocations for 8 years compared to Akwa Ibom, sit there and be blaming Wike instead of thanking him that he chose to complete the projects your principal left behind. In ur quiet moment take time to compute how much rivers got during his 8 years in power taking into cognisance the oil boom those years and ask yourself if rivers state oughts to be the way it is, I rest my case with a flying monorail (alias conduit pipe)

And why didn't he complete the akpajo axis? What was rivers state allocations for those good oil boom days?
