simiolu1,

I checked lynda.com and the pricing seems to be higher than those listed on Udemy.
On Udemy, there are always promotions going on.
As a result of the promo, a course on Udemy is about $14.

Have you tried books? That's also a way to get yourself occupied since alot of what is taught on YT and Udemy are mostly surface material. You could always join web communities on your choice language to ask questions and understand further.

Be aware, learning alone doesn't make you a programmer until you apply the skill to solve real-world problems.

Politics / Re: Meet Ikoyi Whistleblower: Speaks On EFCC, Reveals Assassination Attempt (Video) by Naturalized(m): 1:30am On Nov 26, 2017
There's a reason spies never live long. In cases like this, there are just so much competing interests, add to that the possibility of uncovering something the government/police are trying to keep under wrap, then you get the reason why most wouldn't have taken the same step as these whistleblowers.

Honestly, their lives are in danger even more so than they know, since they're dealing with more powerful and connected people who won't rest until they see the back of them. It is unfortunate really, but sometimes one should just look the other way...

My brother, I thought I had the strength+patience but clearly, I get worn answering the same questions over and over again. Those that go for the jugular are the ones who add "urgently" to their already answered questions, when it's obvious they've not even made any attempt at reading. Person go just weak.

Sometimes when answering, you even try to be as detailed enough but still get questioned on how you got 5 from 3+4-2, if you did 3+4 then took 2 or you did 3-2 then plus 4. In short, it's energy sapping.

Like Santino mentioned, details of ones' application goes a long helping others, one of my greatest takeaway in recent time though is the revelation of possibility of NOC combination. By the way, Santino1, great work with your ITA-AOR. Congrats to you.

Exactly, this particular one is strange as nobidy seem to be picking up on it, yet i have seen quite a number of people use it, online and offline, who are proud PR holders now.

Actually, @blessings2017 is correct. An applicant applies for a study permit and NOT a temporary resident visa(TRV) hence the usage of the IMM1294 form. However, since a TRV is required for a non visa exempt applicant to enable him/her travel to Canada to obtain the study permit that was approved. it is automatically issued once the Study permit application is approved without a separate application.

A temporary resident visa can be applied for directly eg Visiting, business etc. These categories of Temporary resident visas does not require a permit and hence an applicant will have to apply using the IMM5257 form(application for a temporary visa).

So yes, a study permit fall under a 'PERMIT' even though a TRV is also issued.

That's fair enough, we learn something new everyday of course.

Thank you for the heads-up.

I was not issued any TRV . I applied for study permit and application was denied. End of story . I can not in my case, start ticking YES to any trv i don't know about (GCMS note only mentioned study permit). Anyways, I've moved past this stage a 'lonnng' time . Was just trying to imply that because you have been denied visa in the past doesn't make you tick YES to both questions. Know the peculiarity of your case.

Shalom.

Lol, what you applied for was a TRV, which is, in essence, a visa as a temporary residence. It just so happens you applied under the study classification. The one issued at the POE that states the date of exit, and conditions of employment in Canada as a student is the study permit.

I say this as someone who has gone through the entire studentship process and attended various CIC in-Canada awareness programs for international students.

I'll use my case as an example. I applied for Canadian study permit some years back but was denied. So i answered thus below,

1. Has X been refused refugee status or an immigrant or permanent residence visa (including a certificate de selection du Quebec or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary residence visa, to Canada or any other Country ? NO

2. has X been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country ? YES

Note the operative word for me is PERMIT, hence my NO in No.1 . In conclusion, if your case fits the both scenarios, then it's a YES.

I am not sure of the case you are responding to but in your case you should have answered yes to b0th questions since the Canadian visa issued you when applying to study is a TRV, and Study/work permit is only given at the POE. I'm not trying to imply anything regarding your application, just pointing out something that might be useful for some other persons.

I was a student in the UK, towards the end of my program I wanted to visit Spain , I was denied. Since then my status has changed, I got married, I and my spouse applied for the Us Visa and travelled alone and returned. I also renewed my US visa recently.

Thanks for this information. I think you are consistent enough and your getting ADR shows they need clarification (or as the case may be stronger proof of eligibility). Since you have other documents requested such as you and your spouse's passport and all, then the problem isn't so much your data as my check as you or i may think.

I read you have gotten some .xls format documents showing past payments, this should suffice with a letter of explanation as to why you didn't include or use the job to get into the pool in the first place.

Apologies for any typos and all the best with your Application.

Yes it is London office and I once had a Visa refusal when I was a student.

Please answer the following questions if you are comfortable sharing the info.

Visa refusal to Canada, UK or US? And how long ago was this? Did you maintain a degree of consistency with your Applications then and now? And how much has your status changed since then e.g Marriage, extra degree, Travel history?

Got to work to find the PPR mail sitting pretty in my email!!

I am FSW-Inland, but I only stumbled on this page after my submission, so I had some doubts. That was the same way I only stumbled on the student visa page in 2015 after I had submitted and was looking for CVAC address, but God somehow perfected everything then and now. My applications have always been far from perfect, but the information I read here mentally helped me to understand the various stages involved and the timeline. Thank you to everyone. My timeline is below

AOR: Oct 26
MP: Oct 28
IP1: Oct 30 (I initially thought this was 1P2, the BG message looked like the same with IP2, figured that's how it is for FSW-Inland)
NA2: Nov 3
IP2: Nov 11
PPR: Nov 16 (21 days in total)!

May favor shine on the path of all those expecting good news from IRCC.

Ha, I remember you from the 2015 Student Visa thread. Congratulations!!

Robot na still robot... I watched the videos;she cannot smile even when her interviewer is smiling...
She has no emotions;she is not better than a motorcycle.

Did you listen to the part where she alluded to not having developed specific EI for different situations?. I believe there's still a lot of work to be done on her, all the answers she gave were automated and without any measure of emotion or guile.

Will robotics adequately develop EI's on par with humans, I have my doubt, but one thing is for sure, some people are out to prove us all wrong - And it'll be fun seeing the end result.

The Zambians look up for it, that, and the fact our players are under immense pressure to qualify and what you have is this shit show of a performance. At this rate I'd take a draw, but a win will be welcomed.

I hope I don't regret waking early to see this.

Usually like to watch all episodes of my series at a go but since Season 3 of Outlanders is yet to feature on Netflix, and I can't help myself, I have been watching from some streaming website - Although without subtitles which makes it half the experience, but I understand a bit of gaelic .

Episode 5 airs tomorrow, so looking forward to James Fraser's next stop, although I have come to totally despise Claire.

Believe me, i didnt bother to download season 3. I knew its gonna be a let down

Lol it wasn't!! Was even more in-depth on cartel operations. I'd actually rank the seasons in this order: 1 > 3 > 2.

Binge watched the entire Season 3 of Narcos this past weekend, my god! Just as I thought season3 will be a let down since Pablo and Murphy, two of my favorite characters wouldn't be in it, I couldn't be more wrong. The guys (and Maria Salazar grin), we're absolutely amazing, and there was more focus on cartel operations than the Escobar stories.

Btw, season four will focus on the Mexican cartel -- maybe a little focus on Chapo but we'll see since Netflix have a running series focusing on Chapo's life.

Whatever happens, I will love to have the Maria Salazar character in there somewhere, she made me feel things i didn't know existed. wink

@collinic, if you mean user input.Maybe this.

#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int matrix[6];
int main () {
cout <<"Enter first number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[0];
cout <<"Enter second,number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[1];
cout <<"Enter third number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[2];
cout <<"Enter fourth number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[3];
cout <<"Enter fifth number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[4];
cout <<"Enter sixth number"<<endl;
cin >> matrix[5];
cout << "Your output is:"<<endl<<'( matrix[0], matrix[1], matrix[2])' << '(matrix[3], matrix[4], matrix[5])';
return 0;
}

I don't think the array is a static one in this case. My guess will be to get the size of the input stream buffer, then test if the value is even or odd using the modulus test.

He or she can then assign dynamic sized arrays to some variables to store part of the number using "new".

How is it that professional footballers can't seem to play an accurate 5yard pass? I have seen our midfield concede possession trying to play the simplest pass to the nearest man.

Clear Penalty btw. Our keeper makes a brainfart.

Actually, A white women are super materialistic especially when young. Aint know way a young white woman will marry and African man not making six figures. Look at all the men that married fine young white women e.g Tiger woods etc. They are all rich and successful. Dont forget that these young white women most often prefer to chose from their own race just like any race does. But on the other hand, our african women also are materialistic and prefer young men that are well to do (or atleast will provide them citizenship to live the good life). So it's really not about race but about gender behavior.

This 100%.
It's actually rare to find a young non-single mother, sexy Caucasian lady in a serious relationship with a Nigerian guy abroad. These girls also have aspirations which includes getting married to a smoking hot white dude so Naija guys are basically left with the dredges of society. Having said that, there are also some girls who form bonds with naija guys from high school and all which later extends to relationship/marriage, I have seen quite a number of cases like that.
