B1/B2. I applied last year but only got interview dates for 2023. I took the 2023 interview date but I kept checking for closer dates at least once a week. Luckily, I saw June 2022 today and I rescheduled. Don't worry more dates will be out soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

The American visa process is interview based and not document-based like the UK or Canada. You must be able to convince the Visa officer orally why your application should be approved….
You can take documents along if they give you confidence but they aren’t needed…from my experience

Step 2
Pay Visa Fees (preferably GTB)
Step 3
Go to ustraveldocs.com/ng, create a profile and book an appointment for an interview.

Notes.
A cousin work visa has no bearing on her application. It may serve as a reason her application is declined if it is interpreted as immigration intent.

Things that are likely to help are her work-life profile, economic ties to Nigeria, travel history (not compulsory), familial relationships, a dash of confidence and believe in God.

I finally went to submit my complete documents (DIY). I was determined not to pay a dime except were necessary.

When I got there the situation of DIY is not a cross I could carry (story for another day).

I called one of the madams spoke to her and she opened up that the only way I could get my passport easily and safely is to pay 45k else no one cares. Right there I saw people who paid the said amount collecting theirs the least amount was 40k.

We agreed on 20k since I have done my online payment and my documents are complete. Immediately I paid the lady took me directly for capturing i did capturing within an hour without any stress and left immediately. Those that came before me were still there waiting.

If u dont have money dont go to Asaba office o from the security guards to oga they are all racketeers.

NIS fb page confirmed last week that the passport is ready. This people have gone in with my enrollment slip like 5times, only to come out and ask if i did change of name due to marriage. I have never been married neither have I ever changed my name. it's DIY. My tire is tired
