If you've ever been a victim of LASTMA, police, VIO, FRSC...etc. You know how evil and demonic they can be.

Traveling by road in Nigeria is becoming more and more dangerous. From reckless drivers, to bad roads, to kidnappers, to unseen dangers lurking around...

May God continue to keep us safe. Rip to the deceased.

You will see buyer but I don't know if Go-show still rampant in our country
I would have advised you take the booking number to the airport on the day of the flight, the only downside is they will know you are desperate and price it cheap

But advertise first you might see someone
I'm already working on finding someone who will buy it.

LordAdam16:
Provided you sent to the correct email address, they'll respond.
Always better to send from the email you appended when booking your ticket.
I used this number - +234-201-343-8133 - to get in touch with an Air Peace customer care agent this morning.

I'll be surprised if they refuse to process a refund.
But there'll be a hefty cancelation penalty.
Tickets are valid for a year and can be used on other routes.
So it's almost always more financially prudent to reuse at a later date. It's what I do.

The dashboards of our local airlines are bare bones.
You can only pay for and print tickets; maybe check-in. Anything else and you'd have to shoot a mail or place a call.

-Lord
They don't do refunds. They've responded to my email.

My best bet is to sell the ticket to someone then contact airpeace to change the destination and passenger name.

If I don't find a buyer I'll just keep it since they told me that it's valid for 12 months. Anytime I want to travel to the east I'll use it. That's of course after I've changed the name and destination.

Yes

Or let your dad travel and chill in Abuja and come back

Don't dash them the ticket like that [/color]
Lol...I'd prefer selling the ticket biko.

Besides he's not a young person like me that I can say Oya go and chill and come back. Since the reason for going isn't important again, there's no need travel.

Thanks anyways. At least I have an idea of how to go about it.

Ok. Thanks.

So I'll have to sell it to a travel agent like someone suggested.

If you can find buyer and sell it off
You can sell to travel agents but at a lesser price because airlines don't do refund
How can I go about it?

I don't even know anyone who is going to Abuja currently.

i last used air peace in 2021 or 2022. not sure. i had a project in kano. At the time i was often able to reschedule flights. i had never done a cancellation and as a naija matter i know they will likely make it difficult and slap a cancellation fee.

you may have to go to their counter at MMIA with your flight booking and engage an officer directly. I cannot remember if it is the old or the new terminal in the past.
I saw reschedule on their website under manage booking. The thing is his going isn't necessary anymore. So rescheduling isn't the solution. I wouldn't mind them deducting a certain amount as penalty fee from the money.

They can deduct and give me the rest. It's better than loosing the whole money.

As for going to their terminal. Those ones there might not be able to solve my problem unless I go to their main office at Arobiodu (Ikeja GRA) I just thought I could place a call to a customer service agent and they'll direct me on how to go about processing my refund. But the numbers I saw online isn't going.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Nazgul: 8:24pm On Feb 01, 2025
@GloriousGbola

Please how well do you know about flight cancelation?

I booked an airpeace return flight for my dad from Lagos to Abuja on the 28th of January. The departure date for the flight is 7th February and return date is 10th February.

The problem here is that the reason he was going to Abuja isn't important again so I want to cancel it. I've gone through their website to see if I can cancel it, but I couldn't find anything like that on their website. And the numbers I saw isn't going. I sent them an email but they haven't responded. Although they acknowledged my mail through an auto response.

Have you ever encountered such issue before?

All I want to say is that Manchester united qualified automatically for the quarter finals in the Europa league. We might actually win it and qualify automatically for the champions next season regardless of whatever position we finish in the EPL.

CareerRe: The Economic Squeeze: Why Expenses Outstrip Income In Nigeria by Nazgul: 12:35am On Jan 29, 2025
djjazzysmart:
One of the most devastating and frustrating things that happen to people is to realize that despite working so hard to make ends meet, they still can not foot their bills as supposed, hence all the efforts seem not to yield tangible results. This is the sad reality of most Nigerians.

Certain factors in Nigeria have necessitated expenses to always sail above income, making it difficult for most individuals and families to live above the poverty level. The ugly situation is compounded by the perpetual fluctuating exchange rates and rising fuel costs in the country.

The above-mentioned factors, among others, are the primary cause of the prevailing hardship in the country as the exchange rate and price of fuel affect the cost of almost every other commodity and service in the country, resulting in an overall high cost of living.

Essential goods and services, ranging from food and transportation to housing and healthcare, have become exorbitantly expensive due to the current price of petrol and the value of the US dollar against the naira.

For instance, US Dollar to Nigerian Naira exchange rate was ₦448 on December 19, 2022, fast forward to January 28, 2025, and the rate has climbed to ₦1,554. This unimaginable increase has made imported goods, including essential items and raw materials for local production overly expensive, making the cost of basic necessities rise above the purchasing power of the average Nigerians.

For example, the higher fuel prices result in increased fares for public transportation, which makes it more expensive for commuters who go to work or conduct business. Businesses also face higher operating costs, which they often pass on to consumers in the form of higher prices.
Another contributing factor that is making this ugly situation becoming worse, is the stagnant wage system in the country. While the price of items and cost of living entirely keeps skyrocketing, the wages keep retarding or even remains stagnant. This disparity has made it very difficult for most Nigerians with less disposable income, to ably cover their expenses.

Additionally, Nigeria is faced with a high level of unemployment, combined with the apparent underdevelopment of the country which also plays a crucial role in the economy. With the scarce job opportunities prevalent in the country, many Nigerians find it difficult to secure a good-paying job that can sustain them in this present economy. Consequently, this makes them more vulnerable to coping with rising expenses.

The consequences of this unpalatable economic situation are devastating and even disastrous as it often coerces people to sacrifice basic necessities such as healthcare services, good education and many others which may have a long-term effect on them.
To ameliorate the situation, the government needs to make people-centric policies, such that will promote economic growth, create jobs, and ensure that wages keep pace with the cost of living. Also, stabilizing the value of the dollar to the naira as well as reducing the price of petrol which essentially affects everything in the country.

If you give this to a Tinubu supporter and ask him to comment, his response would be that Peter Obi would never be president.

Sometimes I wonder what goes on in the brain of an average Tinubu supporter. Cos calling them zombies would be an insult to zombies. They're worse than zombies.

So dem no follow. 😏

This means that Antiretroviral drugs that's almost free of charge would experience a significant increase in price. And considering how the economy is, most people might not be able able to afford it for a long period of time.

Imagine spending between 50k-100k month on Antiretroviral drugs for the rest of your life.

This is not the time to be randy. Stick to your spouse or abstain from sex if you're single.

This man is finished. If your own wife can talk to you this way it means she has zero respect for you. A woman would easily cheat on a man she has no respect and regard for than the one she does.

If that man has 4 kids, 3 wouldn't be for him.

She should ask her mom to provide her biological father so he can apply for her.

I don't understand why a legally married woman would feel comfortable sleeping with guys just for fun when she should be joining heads with her husband to move her home forward.

madridguy:
DRC are just plain stupid. A country of with population of 100 million are collecting woto woto from a country of 7 million people.
A country divided along ethnic and religious lines can easily be invaded by a much smaller country.

If the north gets invaded by Chad or Niger, I can assure you that most northern soldiers would be reluctant to fight them because they share the same ethnicity and religion. And the south would call it a family affair and wouldn't want to interfere. So the war would be extremely difficult for Nigeria to win despite our huge population.

That's exactly what's happening in Congo DR
