This should be a walk-in-the-park for Manutd. |
pocohantas:2001? Imagine! That car would be nothing but scrap. I think Uber and the likes should start including the year of the car on their app so that riders can know what they're paying for. Cos when you're booking, all you see is red corolla, the reg number and the name of the driver. They should put the year of of the car as well. Cos I'm sure that if you saw a 2001 car as the available car for you, you'd immediately cancel such ride and rebook again. |
pocohantas:Yea I remember. Sadly she chose the violence approach rather than the diplomatic one. I think Uber and Bolt should look into these complaints and act. For starters, They should order an inspection of all their cars, and layoff the ones that don't meet their standards. Cos aside those small Suzuki cars (which are brand new) a large number of their cars on the roads are not Uber worthy. |
This is very common with Uber drivers these days. You'll book a ride, open the door sit down and they'll start the ride without informing you that their AC isn't functioning. The worst part is that the fee you're paying them covers AC, yet they won't want to put it on. For me how I do this is once I enter your car and your windows are down, before you start the ride, I'll ask you right away if your AC is working, if it is switch it on, if you wan turn am to argument, I'll jejely leave your car and book another one. As for the topic, the beating that girl received cannot be because of AC, maybe she refused to pay him or insulted him to the extent where he became violent. Women should understand that life no be gra gra. If he had already started the ride and refused to switch it on, she should have endured till she got to her destination, then pay him and leave a one star rating for him on the app stating her complains. She could have even gone further to call Uber directly and forward his name and reg number to them for follow up. It's not everything you run your mouth. Sometimes you act professionally in situations like this where you know you don't stand a chance should a fight break out. |
Ibkay32:@bolded I believe hunger and greed plays a bigger role in their attitude than being a Gen Z. Most girls are so used to getting free things that they don't even care about their safety anymore. Some years back before the fuel subsidy removal (around 2022) I was at Onike junction outside one of the supermarkets there waiting for them to load the items I bought into my booth. There was this girl who came (I don't know her) she just walked to me and asked me if she'll see bariga bus from here. I told her yes. She stood for a few minutes and started complaining that she can't stand anymore. Besides even if a bus comes it would be filled and she'd have to squeeze herself inside it. I told her to order for an Uber then which should take her to her destination. She remained quite. The next thing this girl did was to start flagging down cars until one stopped for her. They were 2 guys in the car, she entered the back seat and they drove off. From Onike to bariga then was N100. With Uber was less than 1k. Yet she decided to risk her life to enter a strangers car so as to avoid making payment herself. Sadly this is how so many girls reason. A lot have been used for rituals because of osho free. Free ride, free food, free drinks, free spending...most of the things used to bait them are things they can easily afford. If that's not the height of greed I wonder what is. |
Lol. I posted earlier that this is the best time to buy dollar cos the Naira is definitely going to crash. Whatever the CBN is doing to sustain the Naira's current growth isn't already affecting our FX reserves. Meaning it's not sustainable so expect the Naira to crash anytime soon. |
Biko let it keep dropping to at least N400. We have the crude oil, we have the refinery, why should fuel be a luxury? |
Samirana360:Bad roads, reckless driving, nonchalant attitude from passengers by carry highly inflammable materials on board. I once read a thread last year during the fuel crisis of how a transportation company driver was carrying 50 liters of fuel inside the bus on a journey from Lagos to the east. Unfortunately the fuel exploded and burnt everyone in the bus beyond recognition. We lack safety precautions in this country. People just behave however they feel like. |
This is even the best time to buy dollar cos it's definitely going to climb back to N1,600. We don't have industries that support huge scale exportation that can give our naira a fighting chance against the dollar. What we're experiencing is the CBN using the $$ do defend the Naira. Question is how sustainable is that? They tried it last year. In fact dollar dropped to about 1k. After a few months it climbed back to almost 2k. Nigeria isn't a serious country. |
Preciousgirl:If your story is true, I'll recommend you install secrete cameras in your bedroom. When you wake up, you can watch the clip and have first hand knowledge of whatever it is. |
83? He's seriously aging. Same as Kumuyi and Oyedepo. The question is are our upcoming pastors qualified enough to work in their footsteps? Christianity these days is all about money. When these men eventually depart this earth, what would be the faith of Christianity in Nigeria. |
Ever since they lunched Teams, Skype became persona non grata. It's a good thing they're retiring it. |
He shouldn't go to Saudi Arabia or the United States like some Nigerian players did in their prime. He should try as much as possible to remain in Europe. |
In the end Ukraine are the real loosers. The US and NATO just used their country as a testing ground for their weapons. At the end the US would make peace with Russia and allow them have the territory they conquered in Ukraine. Ukraine would be left with nothing. Reminds me of WW2 when chamberlain and co annexed a part of czechoslovakia to Hitler without Czech representatives in the meeting. Imagine people sharing your county without your consent then force you to accept it in order for peace to reign. |
folake4u:Don't worry I'll quote you when the season ends. |
folake4u:We're better than your Chelsea who lost. ![]() |
ahmedsaniadamu:If you had this kind of profile in 2022 nothing should stop you from having a top rated badge by now. |
Most of those companies are owned by Nigerians and situated in Nigeria. They know how difficult it is to get a reasonable job in the UK so they'd offer delegates trainings on various tech fields. Could be cybersecurity, digital marketing, full stack developer...etc, then promise them certification and sponsorship. The problem here is that you'd actually go through the training and get certified, but getting the job is the issue cos they don't have the connections to secure jobs for you in a very tight job market like the UK. I usually tell myself that if it's not US, I'd rather stay here in Nigeria. UK and Canada are just overrated. No thanks to the influx of immigrants who you'd have to struggle with to get a below average job. |
I used to subscribe to MTN's 75Gb per month. It was 16k now it's 20k. May God help us. |
Her face doesn't look like a minor. Joblessness has made so many Nigerians ignore their obvious problems and carry other people's matter on their head like firewood. |
pocohantas:Mama Tega. The cosmetics shop. I usually visit there for pedicure whenever I'm within Surulere. Although it's been a while since I last went there. They usually charge 4k for their pedicure. Don't know if they've increased it. |
GloriousGbola:Spa also has an outlet at Tejuosho (yaba). I've gone there countless times. Cc pocohantas. |
DrAda:He's there to work against the party by opposing whatever plan the party comes up with to move forward. And also to feed APC their strategy. He's a mole. |
Jesuspistol:Lol. I just saw your post and agreed this is the gear system of a manual transmission car. So the next should be reverse. TheFreshVanilla:The answer is R. Reverse. We both missed it. |
TheFreshVanilla:The answer is actually 7 |
It's all over 2-2. At least we didn't loose. |
Penalty canceled by VAR. Huge relief for Manutd. |
