I don't know if it's just me. But since that fist grid collapse last week, Power supply in my area in Kosofe Local Government has dropped drastically.

Yesterday we just had light for less than 2 hours and as I'm typing this, we still don't have light.

So how's power supply in your area, has it improved or has it gotten worse.

The lowest anyone can get petrol of low quality like the ones we use here is around 70 cents per litres

So when at the ₦1655 exchange rate it's ₦1158 plus say ₦30 shipping fee ₦1188 is the minimum you can get petrol into nigeria

If Nigerian marketers can import petrol at ₦950 None absolutely none of them would sale in Nigeria when their is Ghana, Togo, Benin Cameroon and the rest ready to pay ₦1350 per litres

I don't get why APC government can't come out openly and say yes we pay subsidies and end all this rigmarole they are doing... It makes no sense

That 70 cents per liter is the retail price for the masses. Meaning the fuel would have passed through the refinery operators, and marketers, before reaching the retailers who would would sell to you guys.

If you're buying as an importer in millions of metric tonns, it would be more cheaper. Cos you'll be buying directly from the refinery, so you're boycotting the marketers and the retailers.

So it is mathematically possible for the landing cost to be N971.

Nigeria isn't refining petroleum products, Dangote is. And he's out to make profit thus pegging the price of his products higher than independent marketers.

I have used toyota products a lot b4 switching to Benz.

We're still saying the same thing. You're recommending Benz because you're currently using it and have fallen in love with it's features.

The first car I owned was a Toyota tiny light. I later sold it and got a muscle. Later I sold the muscle and got an RX. So if I want to recommend a car to someone, I'll definitely tell them to pick RX or Toyota. Not because they're the best, but because I've used them and have come to love them.

Cars are bought based on personal taste and not because of money. Cars like convertible, even if I become a billionaire tomorrow, I can never buy them cos it's not my taste. Same with 2 door cars. I prefer Suvs or sedan.

People would always go for their taste. I would happily chose a collora over a Solara any day anytime because the solora is 2 doors. So it's not my taste. So it's not about money.

Also there are some people who buy models. Some love Honda cars, others love Lexus, Toyota, Benz...etc. So if you want to buy a car and go to them for recommendations, they'll naturally advise you to go for the models they love. Not because it's the best, but because they love it.
