Do you know what palliative measures mean Do U realise the govt have made u believe palliatives are food. What any normal or sane govt would do would have been to come up with measures and policies to help cushion the effect of the subsidy removal before going ahead to remove subsidy. The money they are sharing to imaginary poor people and the money they are wasting sharing rice and grains could have been better spent on subsidising transportation or providing trasport alternatives or options. Lolzzzz... This country is a joke. The govt's knee-jerk response each time tells u about how unprepared they are for anything. Majority of Nigerians are either unemployed, self employed or underemployed and are all affected by the inconsiderate policies of the govt. What exactly are the measures to alleviate their sufferings? One would have thought the govt had plans and measures in place to cushion the effect on transportation costs and inflation especially but instead they are busy bragging about sharing food to a select few and sharing monies to an imaginary populace.

If only Nigerians can change their mentality of importing everything..

How can they change their mentality on imports? Policies in the country isn't favorable for production. Cost of production will cripple both buyers and sellers. If the govt wants to encourage local production let them stop lip service and put up measures, palliatives and incentives to encourage local production. It is cheaper to import than produce in this country despite the fact that we have all the raw materials

The truth is that Nigeria happens to us all eventually one way or the other. In as much as hospitals fail time and time again in its duty which is saving lives, the fear of the Police and its unprofessional harassment is the beginning of wisdom for an average Nigerian

How many practicing nurses are actually registered nurses in this country? Infact apart from some major hospitals, how many hospitals these days employ registered nurses apart from auxiliaries.
