This is what happens when a foreign country sponsors the campaign of a presidential candidate in another country... deals are signed and nobody can ask "why" because the deal has already been done and it's already too late to ask questions!!! |
for the past two games in this competition has been wrong, I just hope this time is right this time around |
The same incident happened to me here in Nigeria (Akwa Ibom, Uyo), during the Election period, I noticed I have misplaced my UBA Master Card on a Friday night, and was hoping to go lay a report of the incident the following Monday, only for me to wake up on Monday morning at about 2 A.M and saw a debit alert of 42k, I immediately called the bank to inform them that the transaction was not ATHOURIZED by me and they worked on blocking the card, and advice that I go to the nearest UBA bank in the morning to write a complaint so they could send the complaint to Lagos for onward forensic investigation. By 8 A.M of that same day I got a call from Lagos that despite the software issue they had successfully blocked the card. I went to the bank and wrote a report, I called Lagos to inform them that I just wrote the report and Lagos called uyo and demanded that they send the report asap. By God's grace I was later able to find the person who saw the card on the Friday night where I misplaced it, the fellow told me that he never used the card since the night he found it and nobody claimed it. Information from the Debit alert showed that the card information was used to make purchases from a certain aliexpress.com. I took the guy to the bank on that same Monday and we updated the bank staff on what had happened and they took note of it, but I did not inform Lagos that I found the card because I wanted them to conclude their investigations. Lagos told me to be patient for 12 working days for the forensic investigation to be concluded. On Tuesday afternoon I also got another debit alert on the same account worth 1200 naira, I ran to the bank and withdrew what was left in the account, I called the Lady in Lagos and reported the issue and she was shocked that debits without my authorization were still occurring on the account despite it been blocked. I kept constant tie with Lagos and I was directed to the head of a certain unit in charge of such issues in UBA ( when I mean Lagos I mean UBA customer service complaint unit) I kept calling and I kept writing her via email for every email I sent her I copied the customer care email address so as to keep them in the loop and in-turn make the UBA staff attend to me swiftly. On the 12th working day after my report, I got a credit alert totaling about 38k, I immediately ran to the Bank and withdrew it, I came back to the house and called Lagos to inform them that my money wasn't complete and the next day the balance was credited. I wrote them an email thanking them for their customer friendly approach towards the issue. In all, I learned that in such circumstance all one need to do is report immediately to your bank that an un-authorized transaction occurred on your account, as far as you can prove that a transaction occurred without your authorization the Bank would always look into it and pay you back after forensic investigation has been carried out. On the TnC of using a bank debit or credit card there are a lot of condition with which the bank will not be held liable for any damage, but a transaction without your authorization is not one of them and they know. Note: no matter where you are, keep your card details Safe |

all these charade is what GEJ described as "Celebration of Corruption" because at the end these guys would still have millions in their accounts... ask the Lamidos |
that's the kind of change they sign up for! |
am glad Barcansta had taken out time to outline all the loop holes in the DSS press statement, if only they know that not all Nigerians are numb skulls, they should be objective and true when dealing with members of the public! It wasn't this flawed during the time of Merilyn Ogar. |
patrickmuf:stop flaunting the down side of your life everywhere you go na! |
luvinhubby:yea I see the move like you stated, but what could be the CBN plan once the FR has appreciated to a reasonable point? Would they go back to selling forex to importers of those commodities... because the Naira will keep declining against the dollar as long as we no longer do huge oil business with the Americans. |
All improvement in the power sector in Nigeria hence forth would and should be attributed to the effort of former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan... just like we attribute every praise in the telecommunication sector to former president Olusegun Obasanjo... When President Buhari makes a mark in the lives of Nigerians during his political lifetime as a president we will know and we will acknowledge his efforts duly!!! |
phemmyutd:I don't think your response was to answer my question, you only quoted my post just to further make your own comment not necessarily to answer my question. There is a big difference between appointing people from the North and appointing people from the North whom are his kindred. For even though they sound alike "Blood and Flood are not the same as Food! |
phemmyutd:young Man, if PMB does not appoint me personally then I don't care who he appoints! My parents dint raise me up through salaries and pension from FG, am not making a living now through salary and pension from FG either... so if PMB like let him appoint even cows and rams from the north I don't care because it won't surprise me for I saw it coming! I only asked the OP a simple question, even if the question was somewhat ambiguous, but it was a simple straight forward question! |
OP are you trying to say that this justifies the Nepotist appointment by the president? |
with his Binatone fan! He is forming Boss! |
the joke is dry, the lesson has no Moral |
the North brought him to Power through a high powered conspiracy, it's not shocking that all his appointments has been tilted towards the North so far, and I won't be surprised if eventually all are tilted towards that same Line. The North deserve that much. And besides I think that's the kind of Nigeria that Majority of Nigerians wanted. We wanted CHANGE, change is here, let's live with it! |
The Book of Lamentation... it's too Long Mbok! |
I don't know how true this is, but be that as it may, what ever the president choose to do, it's his presidential prerogative, but everything has its cause and effect. So he should be ready when the effects of such decision starts manifesting |
it really Annoy me when I see things like this The definition of “host” was also expanded to cover all communities that pipelines pass through, not just where exploration is being made. |
Selective witch-hunt! |
and gradually the Move for the push out and frustration of Christians has commenced following the emergency of a Buhari as a President of Nigeria!!! |
Onemansquad:"Balance" with the SS not in the equation? |
honeric01:and what makes you feel everybody on Nairaland.com is as jobless as you are? Since all you do is sit and watch TV in your area! |
All these indicates that APC were busy planning how to run a parallel Government rather than planning on running the affairs of Governing this Nation! Very pessimistic set of folks!...they had better resolve this issue and let this country move, because I don't even think is constitutional for the inauguration of the 8th Assembly to be stalled all because of selfish party interest! |
Datazone:A very non partisan list! |
Public Announcement!!! For DSTV premium subscriber, this is to inform you that AIT is televising the match Live!!! I Repeat! AIT is televising the Nigeria Vs Brazil match Live |
amnesty of no amnesty, the creeks would be re occupied, and this time hundreds maybe thousands would die, but the agitation would most defiantly resurface and this time it would serve as a catalyst for the upsurge of the Biafran struggle!!! |

Now he goes around wasting our money! How much would this waste cost the people of Nigeria? |
the first pipe line runs from the Niger delta to Lagos, and am thinking where would the second pipe line would run from the Niger delta to where? Somewhere deep inside the North I guess!!! |
Godswill Akpabio should be on that list instead of Amaechi |
