harizonal123:trust me I don't know GMB all I know about him I read! And trust me when I say that I read both the good and bad side of GMB, just like majority of these Monikers on Nairaland.com! We don't know him! All we know is just what we read about him! Hence the Devil I know is better than the "said" angel I don't know! holatin:I don't need to ask my parents. About Buhari! I ask myself this basic question! From the late 1980s when I can proudly say I became politically conscious. And conscious of my environment have I seen any change? And I can boldly say that things has changed for good in some way! The roads are no longer death trap! The train are back on track I have light in my house and I on the gen less often (even though the phcn bill they too high for me this days) I use what I have seen and what I can see now to judge, I don't need my parents to tell me about Buhari or who was before him because if he had done well the present Government won't have spent his first term using sure p money to build roads! Presently nobody campaigning would come out to tell Nigerians that he would give them good roads! This is because the roads can't not be said to be bad like they were before! Buhari would not climb a campaign podium in this 2015 and tell Nigerians that he would provide them with good roads! But in 2011 he said that in his campaign speech! I like the dimension Nigerian Politics is going! For you to lead us you must be a Nigerian that believes in Nigeria! Don't send your kids abroad and stand on a political podium and tell us bullshit! Yoiiu lock your wife inside her room as an old-school Hausa Muslim man would desire, and after the president lampooned you for not appointing not even one woman in your cabin ate while your were head of state, you now brought your wife out from the kitchen to campaign with you, and you now called your daughter from the UK to come and deceive some ignorant fools with her pretty face! We need a real Nigerian that believes in a united and ethnic/religious Tolerant Nigeria we need a Nigerian that has schooled in Nigeria, not one that has schooled in France! the problem in this whole scenario is that the so called G22 was formed at the wrong time. They went to Abuja at the wrong time. They did the right thing at the wrong time! All because of selfish individual interest! If they sat down the night before the primaries together as pdp governorship aspirants and choose a candidate amongst themselves, Akpabio wouldn't have been outplayed. It would have been the other way round! They knew Akpabio was not gonna play a fair one but they could not think outside the box. It's a simple tactic Akpabio used, which is "you can easily break a broom when it's divided" but selfish interest blinded them all that they went into the primaries, entering the stadium that day like an individual broom stick and they were all broken to pieces! |
