Sincerely speaking, similar thing happened to me some years ago.
I was studying in one of the polytechnic and working as a clerk in an organisation. Then I started looking for a girl to settle down with since I'm earning a good salary. That was when the whole drama started.
Most of the girl I approached then; where all in the university studying and also came from a comfortable background. Their parents refused to approve the relationship.
