fattbabakay:This is the dumbest junk I've ever read on Nairaland. A young Nigerian revved up with the idea of quitting his job having read your fake testimonies, and possibly seen screenshots you stole (or photoshopped) from the profile of successful freelancers on Upwork contacts you. Watcha say to him? I have written an awesome "how-to guide on earning $1k monthly on Upwork. Just buy my ebook and become your own boss. It doesn't matter what skill set you have. My book is the Bible of freelancing. It will teach you everything." Naive as he is, he buys your book, reads a few chapters of the shabby work and chats you up for heads up. What do you do? You blank him out. Why? You know you have conned him into buying a useless ebook. His money is in the "akant." Time to look for other gullible fellows. You form eternally busy! You hawkers of nonsense guides. Your judgment is close by. If you like use ten monikers to praise yourselves, we know you. You are only obtaining by tricks. |
gbegeset:No company name. E-mail to send CVs unofficial. Test and interview date already in the past. Mehn, why do I think this is a scam? Do convince me otherwise! |
moscobabs:This is obviously a scam. Quick ways to double check a company √ Do they have a functional website? √ Is that address a verified business address? √ What value does the company provide? √ Is the phrase "work brief" or "job brief" included in the invite mail or SMS? √ Can I remember applying to this company and for this position? This is clearly a scam. In saner climes these guys should be in jail, paying compensation claims to innocent job seekers. |
Most people are quick to insult the young man. Why? They think money will forever cure their poverty. They think money can be equated to fulfillment. How clannish people can be! There is something called contentment. There is something called fulfillment. There is something called happiness. Money can't buy any of those. Money in an organization that gives you heart burns is nothing but misery. Contentment is the first condition for happiness. Stay where you can laugh and make merry, not where you will be hailed by friends for having a fat paycheck. Live for yourself first! |
I already predicted a win for APC from the get go. Most times, I sit down, cross my legs and imagine the Baba behind Tinubu's influence in the Southwest. That Baba is next to Satan in mind control. ![]() No wonder Ambode is jittery. How do you fight the most powerful politician in modern Nigeria? How do you fight a Jagaban? When I grow up, I want to be like Tinubu. |
Go to Fiverr, Upwork, you'll be shocked. There are many Nigerians living off freelancing. And how do you earn from freelancing? By learning a skill, of course. |
Please someone should help me with directions on how to get to sango ota toll gate. Thanks. |
My friend Oyinbo Pepper is a great guy. Right after NYSC in 2015, he got a job as a van sales representative for one FMCG in Enyimba city, his monthly gross amounting to N30,000. Last Christmas, he shared with me his grand plans of travelling to Canada, and to prove his resolve he showed me the balance in his savings account domiciled with First Bank. N500,000. I was impressed, I prayed for him, I wished him well, and we downed a few bottles of beer to celebrate his future plans, his hopes, his noble aspirations. Only perhaps we counted our chickens before they hatched. Man builds and celebrates. Fate crushes and disintegrates. First, Oyinbo's mother fell ill. After her medical bills drained his savings account, she passed on. She was only a youthful 45! A few months later, his sister had a life-threatening condition. Having no funds, he dipped hands into his employer's sales revenue and settled the bills. "Family comes first," he said. At present, he has a debt obligation of N740,000 to his employer. Last night, he called me. He sounded defeated. He wants to run away. Long story short, I have advised him against it, and help is already on the way for him. But then a thought has been racing through my active mind. Why do we loathe health insurance? What exactly is our grouse with health insurance? Why would you advise someone against taking health insurance? Please share your thoughts and experiences!!! |
HegenIkomkeh:I'm a man of little knowledge. Accepted without a fight. Because you mouthed research, I will throw a few posers at you. 1) The bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh phrase used by FFK was lifted from the Christian Bible. So, I would like to know what priest, pastor or bishop that pronounced Femi and Precious man and wife? 2) Being quite familiar with the noisy exhibitionist attitude of FFK, could you share pictures of such a marriage as my research have continuously turned up nothing, save for a doctored Wikipedia profile? 3) Being Igbo myself, and knowing that you're probably guided by nothing but ethnic sentiments, I would ask you one last question: would you allow your sister go live and make babies with a pretend Christian, who is yet to do the required marriage rites? Thank you! |
FFK and his crack-induced madness. What ever happened to decorum, decency and restraint in present-day Nigeria? Mrs. Precious Chikwendu Fani-Kayode? This is certainly the height of delusion. FFK, a pretend Christian and serial divorcee, calls Ms Precious the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh, and many are here cheering him on. Shouldn't there be a fine line between a partner in the baby making business and a legally married woman? Shouldn't we condemn this as bad example to the younger generation? Well, what do I know? If our leaders are cohabiting and having baby mamas, what will the led do? If gold rusts what will iron do? What do I know? Am I in the business of making caps for the big-headed man? We deserve what we get. *Spits* |
What made me cry today? Abia State. Every. State. Deserves. The. Leaders. Get. |
