phantom: Failed in what way?? So in effect you didn't think a country whose treasury has been looted on a massive scale and whose economy depends on a resource that is fast loosing value would go into a recession? ?? Come on..Let's call a spade a spade. GEJ being in power today, this country would be the same. It is obvious that 90% of Nigerians don't know what a recession is and its PRACTICAL & REALISTIC solutions. You want this govt to clean up the rot in one year Ladies and gentlemen, these are the kind of persons who attacked us when we said buhari should form government, set up his cabinet and stop wasting time. They just must justify their vote even when it's pointless to do so. |
Politics › Re: OPEN LETTER TO GEJ FROM A NIGERIAN by ndcide(m): 11:37am On Nov 30, 2016 |
alrahmanonline: OPEN LETTER TO GOODLUCK JONATHAN. Your excellence, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I write you this open letter knowing my letter will not get to you if I post it the conventional way. Sir recall that in 2013, the ministry of interior under the care of Abba Moro, advertised vacancy in some positions in the Nigerian Immigration Services and asked unemployed Nigerian youths to apply with the sum of 1000 naira only. Over 7 million unemployed Nigerians applied for the various positions advertised, Sir, I am one of them. Almost a year later, we were invited to come and write a screening/fitness test. Mine was in Yakubu Gowon (then Liberation) stadium. Sir, right before me, 3 unemployed Nigerian youths lost their lives including a pregnant woman. We wrote the test nonetheless (its a pity). Sir, I want to remind you that no body was employed after that recruitment test which we paid 1000 naira for, which means nobody got value for the 1000 naira paid. Sir, just to inform you, the current President of Nigeria Mohammadu Buhari just employed 200000 Nigerian youths for the first batch of the N-Power scheme which will employ more 300000 applicants without a single casualty recorded. Sir, I almost forgot to inform you the N-power scheme did not collect any fee from applicants meaning it was free. Sir, the main reason why I wrote this open letter is to remind you that you are still owing me 1000 naira and the interest has appreciated using the MMM formula of 30% interest a month x 3 years. Calculating it, the accrued figure you are owing me according to MMM Formula, if using #1000 x 3years (36 months) = #129,600. Sir, please try to pay me back my money as it will go a very long way in expanding my fish farm. Here are my account details. Account Name: Justice Chigonum. Account Number: 2041278488 Bank: UBA (savings) Sir, kindly pay the calculated amount to the above account. Sir, don't be too angry with me, I only asked for my money. Thank you sir and God bless you. Justice Ezihuo Chigonum 25/11/2016 Why bother if you already got the n-power job. If you haven't, why don't you tell the new c in c.. |

Dr. Cairo is not that politician to follow. He is like sheriff. We know their permutations, Okowa also knows.
So all this is for sheriff to be chairman against all odds. So shameful.
Is Cairo saying Jimoh Ibrahim is a better candidate than jegede?
Or jimoh would have won? A united PDP wouldn't have picked Jimoh Ibrahim.

"Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church."
You can actually speak in tongues to lift your spirit. It doesn't have to be interpreted.
Why would you want to interpret someone's communication with her creator? She's not prophesying so let her be. The words are not meant for you sir. Gbam!!! Also your earlier post too. However, Seun didn't really open this thread from sincerity.. Bembem1: Anita looks rather homely and most likely a very calm girl. She looks peaceful judging by her looks. Toke seem way too cosmetic and artificial, more like a fire cracker. I may be wrong but that's my opinion. She seem to be like a No nonsense woman, tough, and a "strong woman". Both women are very successful in their chosen career. I think Toke must have been suffering from a very low self esteem or maybe she just wanted to be accepted by a man. Everything she said has always been to fit into Maje's life. Its like she tried as much as possible to squeeze herself into his life by all means. It's not her fault, its just natural to act crazy when you are deeply inlove with someone. Unfortunately, she fell in love with the wrong guy. That idea actually backfired because Maje wasn't totally into her like that or maybe he was trying to love her but things just didn't work out. Besides, I think she was the side chick whereas Anita is the main chick. Maje is in love with Anita whereas Toke is in love with Maje. Its a very difficult situation to find oneself. I hope she truly find a genuine man to really love her the way she loved Maje. Love is a beautiful thing. I agree with you 100% |

Aketi should remember that.

He should not pretend about it because they didn't pretend about them not supporting him.
They are grown men under the yoke of Tinubu.
If Tinubu doesn't like somebody, they won't like the person. If Tinubu likes somebody, they'll like the person even if they normally wouldn't.
What a terrible yoke. |

Inec is part of the script. Those claiming it's all PDP issue are just displaying their sentiments which will only count if they have voters card and will vote. If not, it's all noise.
Inec didn't have strong reasons for removing jegede's name from the list of candidates.
Some of their lawyers were against it. But politics prevailed. Okon Abang had a faulty ruling, and jegede had giving Inec a notice of appeal.
Besides, there are other court rulings that Inec had ignored before Okon Abang's ruling.
Inec must be consistent with this their way of obeying ruling. Things like this go the other way too. We are watching them.
Jegede can have sympathy votes and win this thing. |
Romance › Re: The Chop And Clean Mouth Syndrome. by ndcide(m): 8:40pm On Nov 24, 2016 |
Toks2008: Chop and clean mouth is a regular pidgin phrase used in Nigeria to describe a sinister act of taking advantage of a situation or someone.
Unfortunately this syndrome can be applicable to romantic affairs and iit has been the cause of many troubled marriages today as many couples in marriage are total mismatch.
We have had cases where a guy just decides to catch fun with a lady he would never consider his bae just for the lady to get pregnant or blackmail as well as threaten him diabolically and at the end he is forced to marry the lady which inadvertently breeds an unhappy union.
The same case happens to a lady where she just decides to take advantage of a man she never sees the possibility of marrying just for her to find herself in an unfortunate situation.
Many baby mamas and daddies are springing up day by day and several children lack parental care as a result of this act. Lives have been lost through complicated abortions and several other reasons all because a man or woman decides to indulge in chop and clean mouth act.
Except you are a gigolo or a call girl, the simple truth is that we must avoid this act at all cost...never date someone you know you can not possibly marry and if you must sleep with anyone, let that person be the type you can marry.
I don't know if this makes any sense. Bros the battle against illicit seex is lost. Don't you see how people celebrate it even here on nairaland? Iniquity has taken over to the extent that if you decide to live right, many people see you as odd. On nairaland baby mama is celebrated. When you tell them that it's satanic manipulation, they'll say you are talking "religion" Imagine a topic on nairaland home page about someone's baby mama dressing seductively.. You ask, who is this person, and they tell you she's someone's baby mama. You then wonder. Being baby mama, is it now an achievement? Or it's a product of Chop and clean mouth. |
