Politics › Re: If Jonathan Were In Power Now, What Have Happened by ndcide(m): 9:25am On May 26, 2016 |
Solozzo: Given the shortfall in oil revenue, the wanton corruption in PDP, Nigeria's socioeconomic situation would definitely being worse than today. I believe the following would have happened;
We are lucky GEJ lost the elections. If not :
1. Boko haram overruns Nigeria 2. Heavy fuel scarcity as Govt unable to pay subsidy and suppliers refuse to offload fuel 3? Dollar = 1000naira as Govt prints more money. 4. Niger delta militants on rampage as jona unable to pay amnesty money 5. Mass dismissal of civil servants as Govt unable to pay salaries. 6. Prices of common items would have gone up by 300%
Please refute or add your points. Thanks Things were not this bad when GEJ was president. You know this for a fact. |
Politics › Re: And The Truth Shall Make President Buhari Free - RENO OMOKRI by ndcide(m): 8:33am On May 26, 2016 |
muri4mig: Sweet mouthing alone cannot attract investors. The current level of insecurity arising from the activities of NDA, IPOB and Boko Haram account for the reason why investors are holding back their resources. Reno just like every other public officers in the last administration were the ones that place us in this monumental level of corruption we experience in the last administration, yet they want us to believe that President Buhari should not come out clean on the level of corruption in the last administration. The numbers of articles written by this cronies and their agents cannot in any way protect them from the government wrath because when they have the opportunity for doing the right thing, they chose to mortgage our future by embezzling the state treasury. If PMB did not tell the world what they did to our economy, how the world leaders know? How can the world leaders help to repatriate the looted fund? What PMB is simply telling the world is that, initially their is high of corruption which the current administration is ready to tackle head on as can been seen today with large chunk of people who have benefited from the slush fund already returning them while others will return them when the chips are down. It doesn't matter how long is going to take, the most important thing is that we want sanity in the operation of the government and we want future government to behave responsible as what is obtainable in other clime. Let Omokeri and his likes continue to write until the investigations into their own activities catch up with them. If Reno is a good man as he preaches today, why don't him resign when his colleagues are involved in this act of deliberate criminality? No doubt PMB is slow, their is too much suffering in the land but this deliberate policies and program to remedy the ills of the previous government still remain the feasible solution to bring us the Nigeria that our forefathers dream of. God bless You all. No Sir! Perception is stronger than reality. The groups you mentioned are not the reasons for the diminished foreign direct investment. But the posture of the leadership. The idea that everyone is corrupt except Buhari is dangerous. The militants have been in the Niger delta for years. Have that made the companies stop exploration. Look, people look beyond these things. I asked someone if he'd like to work in an organization where the management sees there employees as criminals, fire them at will, make them work on egg shells, they are hardly in charge and they claim to be the cleanest organization in the country. Now to you, will you like to work in such place? Think deeper Bro. Buhari remains our president. We have to tell him the truth. |

Image123: Wherever they come from is not the point. The point is that it is the PRIMARY duty of the state government to ensure security in their state and constituency. Come on... this shouldn't be too much for you. It's important to determine where they came from. But since our C-in-C have told us that they are Libyans, That's already a national aggression or international invasion.. So it's now beyond the state governors and if the C-in-C can't do anything, then that is dereliction of duty. It's an impeachable offense. Secondly, is it in this dispensation of Buhari that it's the PRIMARY responsibility of state governments to secure their states? During Jonathan's time, the media and a lot of people made us understand it was absolutely the responsibility of GEJ. they all claimed the security apparatus is not under their control. What changed? |
Politics › Re: Fayose Commissions Hunters To Fight Herdsmen (Video) by ndcide(m): 11:36am On May 24, 2016 |
Image123: Don't forget that the state governor is the chief security officer of his state and is heavily paid to do it. Allow Fayose to his job instead of looking for grandpa Buhari to carry him on his laps. The FG primarily should fight against people who fight against Nigeria like boko haram, kanu and avengers that openly declare war on Nigeria. Herdsmen are not declaring war on Nigeria, instead they are even claiming to be wrongfully accused. Despite this, the FG has ordered the police and military to help bring a stop and solace to the herdsmen situation. Tell me something about the" Libyan terrorists" in Nigerian soil or simply take a chill. |
Politics › Re: Chibok Girls Vs Ese Oruru: The Contrasting Conspiracy Theories Of Jonathanians by ndcide(m): 11:25am On May 24, 2016 |
This writeup is crap, it's just a foolish way of attacking Jonathan. Obviously, the writer doesn't have a problem with forcefully adopted Ese Oruru and the rituals, intrigue, and cover-up that went with it.
He even went political to rubbish every sense he was trying to make.
The writer should take note that no body is saying chibok girls were not taken. But the politics involved was so obvious and it will be criminal for Nigerians not to have a second look at the situation. NO! WE INSIST THAT A SITUATION WERE GIRLS ARE TAKEN IN NIGERIA AND POLITICAL MILLAGE IS DERIVED FROM IT, AND EVERY ATTEMPT TO FIND THEM WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL AND THEY REMAINED IN NIGERIA SOIL WHILE THE GOVERNMENT RECEIVED ALL THE BASHING, SUDDENLY THEY JUST RESURFACED.
YOU WANT US NOT TO REVIEW THE SITUATION, HAVE A POSTMORTEM, CRITIC THE STAKE HOLDERS, ASK IMPORTANT QUESTIONS SO THAT SUCH DON'T REPEAT ITSELF?
YOU WANT US TO GO ON A JAMBOREE BECAUSE THE PERPETRATORS OF SUCH HAVE SUCCEEDED IN MANIPULATING A WHOLE COUNTRY?
NOOOOO!!!!!
THIS WRITEUP IS DAFT. THE WRITER SHOULD READ MY POST. HE/SHE IS PLANE DAFT. |

They just can't swallow the proactive approach. They wished it was coming from buhari, so they can go on a jamboree. Some of them don't know if they;d just allow the terrorist to Kill their people, just to prove fayose wrong.

Please note that it should be the other way round. It''s not right to do any other variant of ceremony without finishing with the family FIRST. |

seunmsg: Nobody gave TUC any kobo, Nigerians are just not interested in any strike or protest at the moment. Even if TUC and Joe Ajaero faction of NLC joins the strike, it would still have been a massive flop since Nigerians are not in support of it.
The success of the 2012 protest was not as a result of NLC or TUC strike, it was a people propelled movement which the two labour unions keyed into after it had gained nationwide momentum. They eventually sabotaged the movement so, Nigerians are wiser now not to join them in any protest or strike this time around. You got it wrong. What is happening is protest by NLC. If the various organs of NLC fully participated, they would have down tools. If the banks and other financial institutions participated through their unions, you would have known what's up. You really think the 2012 protests only happened in Lagos. The reason that of Lagos was like that, was because it was hijacked by political sentiments. And it was given full media coverage. Live broadcast with studio discussion all live. You think there were no protest in Abuja? With all affiliate unions involved. Lastly, the civil society, the SNG and others keyed into the strike and not the other way round. The Government was negotiating with Labour and not SNG. When Labour called off the strike work starts. The members of the NGOs are workers also who would return to work. However I agree that many people were indifferent this time around. |
