Well, it's good to be naive. But insisting that you deliberately must be naive is gross.
I agree with you sir, everyone on our military is infinitely dumb or maybe daft not to know a textbook tactical operation.
No need for all these threads and media fair. The girls will be brought out by those keeping them. |

Ajibel: See bro, I am not interested in arguing about this with you.
I know of someone who lived in Chibok who narrated first-hand about the abduction and all that. He ran to Lagos and stayed in our place few days before he moved. If you have not met such person, you would always believe this is a scam and I am not here to force you to believe anyway. Except if the guy decided to also fool us all that listened to him about the Chibok kidnap.
I can understand most of you are saying this based on the fact that this issue was being politicised by both APC and PDP.
But what I want you and your fellow Thomases to know is that CHIBOK GIRLS KIDNAP IS REAL!
I hope none of your family would be nabbed and you hear stories that the kidnap is fake. You just dont know how it really hurts. Bro, you dont, so I cant blame you.
Thanks...

louqas: Were they not paying more for petrol before the new price regime? Fuel has been selling for 150 200 since last year . It was just reduced to 86 naira in January from 97naira Jonathan left it. Firstly, GEJ left the price at 87 naira.. Secondly, it was expected that the government will fix the price anomaly but they didn't. When it was prolonged, the government started giving assurances of April and then May .. Abeg it is wrong to accept what is not good. Let's stop playing the ostrich on this matter. You may have so much money but don't forget that not everyone have so much. |

louqas: In a state that owes workers upward of 7 months salary NLC didn't seem it fit to protest to government house for government to pay workers but are quick to call a strike for fuel price increasement . Until NLC lock down all states that are owing salaries they can't be taken serious . Yet you want those who are not being paid salaries to pay more for petrol. |

Fmartin: Dey should be proposing an increment in minimum wage, nt subsidy removal dat is aimed at improving d dwindling economy... Statements like this is unnecessary as you and others who keep saying it and those liking it are just beginning hypocritical. -The NLC were the first to make a demand for increased minimum wage. It was not the FG, and the demand was not based on petrol price hike. - many of you who keep saying this, where first to attack the NLC claiming that 18k minimum wage was not being paid by most states. I recall the guys at Channels TV where latching on to this when they engaged labour. - The FG proposal for increased minimum wage is insincere as the FG have consistently said, they don't have money. So how will they be able to implement the wage increase. - Minimum wage Increase is not what the FG does in isolation as the state governors will have to determine that. Most times the FG give increased allocation to enable states pay, if they want the Idea to scale through. That have not been done. And the governors are not ready for wage increase for now. -The fact is, the increase in minimum wage proposal by the FG is a lie. They don't intend to do such. Besides, that is even a more difficult course to fight for than reduction in petrol price. -let's not be hypocritical about it. We can support the petrol price hike without this kind of blackmail. -lastly, NLC should not be rubbished because of our support for buhari. We can reason with them and let things be. The danger about this is that, Buhari will not be there forever. These structures are not easy to build. Tomorrow when a different person is in charge. We will be calling for the unions to at least speak, and there will be no voice. It's like the years before the birth Jesus christ, the prophets were being killed and thereafter came the dark years. No prophets until John. My point is that this style of absoluteness, because of buhari is dangerous. Even if petrol price must increase, let's be discreet in our actions. Peace! |
Politics › Re: Buhari Vs Jonathan On Subsidy Removal: Trust Is The Reason! by ndcide(m): 7:50am On May 18, 2016 |
YoursGEJ: Buhari is way more trustworthy than Jonathan. Everybody in Nigeria (even you) as well as people and leaders around the world know this. Call Archbishop of Canterbury and ask him Jonathan was a weak and crooked president. People around him were embezzling money for BH war, NNPC funds, etc and he did nothing. Abba Moro who duped and killed people during immigration recruitment scam refused to refund application fees even when clearly directed to do so by the C-In-C. Would you trust such a president with the funds from subsidy removal? Trust no man. I don't need to be politically correct. Cbn job scam is there. No one is talking. The present baseless trust could be catastrophic if not stopped. |

Grow up and face reality. You know this point is weak. Bros, I can tell you the truth for free. Reduce your all out support for this government. At the moment something is wrong in this country. No body wants to tell the government the truth anymore. It could be catastrophic. This is not about protecting buhari. I beg you. Please Bro please. This Subsidy thing could have been done in phases. Your sentiments on what I will say is due to the unnecessary overkill of the president because of politics. "who is subsidizing who" that's a way to absolutely vanquish the last government. I give buhari thumbs up on Boko haram. However, I'm the wrong person to discuss Boko Haram issues with. Because I have my sentiments which is based on what I know for myself about Boko Haram at least from 2011-2015. Let;s not go there. Boko haram should close shop. they really are of no use anymore. Secondly, I can't say if those Killed few days back at the secretariat were safer because of Buhari. They died anyway. The injured may have a better assessment of the matter. |

DropShot: I'm far more reasonable than you. And if you doubt it, take up the challenge of providing alternative to subsidy removal that was not provided for in the budget. I know you always defend corrupt politicians though. Alternative: The government should have budgeted some amount for subsidy and remove it in phases. say, two phases . This will help avoid industrial dispute and give respite to the citizens who are being strangled by the present Government's incompetence. The purchasing power of nigerians have reduced due to bad economic policies of buhari and NOT Corruption as you have been programmed to admit. Secondly, I don't defend corrupt politicians. and I can't condone wickedness, impunity and incompetence in the present government. Just the way you do |

Let them feel you wanna take action but you won't take it. mind you, it was when Nigerians started complaining of the whole point of the strike, that was when NLC added increment of the minimum wage to the list of their discussions. Labour makes e=demands to governments every May 1. Minimum wage has nothing to do with petrol. |
Politics › Re: FG And Labour Set Up Committee To Review Fuel Price And Minimum Wage by ndcide(m): 12:01am On May 18, 2016 |
YoursGEJ: NLC should join hands with this government to move Nigeria forward. Fuel subsidy must go and it is only fair that the minimum wage be upwardly reviewed.
For those asking why we opposed subsidy removal under GEJ. What did he do with the $100/barrel revenue Nigeria was getting from crude oil sales? $60bn foreign reserves, $3 billion ECA, etc were squandered and they still wanted the small subsidy we were enjoying. Subsidy has been corruption-ridden from the get go but Jonathan was not the person to make good use of the funds to be saved from subsidy removal. What did he do with the SURE-P funds? Where are the buses and stoves he promised as palliatives? Looking at Dasukigate, etc why should I trust Jonathan with subsidy removal? Buhari has the integrity to make proper use of those funds. Well meaning Nigerians know this and that's why there is a reluctance to go on strike by many groups. Compare this response with the massive turnout that greeted Jonathan's subsidy removal in 2012. Nigerians are not fools From May 29, 2015.. Can you tell us what an average nigerian have benefited from this government. |

Sorry NLC and mourning mourners. Nothing for una.
The govt has asked you empty brains to come up with alternative to this deregulation instead of using the same line of "GEJ was not allowed to remove subsidy" but none of you has come up with anything reasonable. We're in different time and different situation economically from 2012.
If NLC leadership had any functioning brain, it'd be fighting for increments in workers salaries and not this lost cause. Besides, where was NLC when half of the states were owing five, six, and eight months salaries to their workers?

A Nigerian billionaire who lived abroad who offered to support the mvement was told by Pastor Bakare that we could afford to sponsor what we were doing. All we spent for the five days that shook the world was N7.5million and not one kobo of it came from any external source.
I'm glad Odumakin has set the records straight with this. If you think that was the only amount spent on the Lagos protest, then the joke is on you.. What you heard before now wasn't a lie. The only record that he's putting straight. Is how much they spent. That some known persons didn't come into the show is a lie. So don't be too quick.
