Tomorrow, you think Labour unions will be cohesive in industrial dispute? I doubt. Buhari will not remain president forever.. However the north will keep producing the president or be the main determinant. |
MadCow1:What are you doing to make Labour party stand . If you don't support an opposition party to stand, you'll have a one party state. |
No much difference. Just themes |
waltec:Can you tell the better ceiling. PVC of the normal one.. We usually paint white (I don't know if we call it gypsum or asbestos ceiling)... It's the very popular one. Which one is better answer safer. Other forumites can assist please |
So, in trying to paint a terrible picture of the previous administration, this government is trying to undo every policy of the former government, instead of just correcting what was wrong. FACT I’m very passionate about that. I have children, and I don’t want them to be messed up by someone’s vision of how to run Nigeria, which I know will not work.INSTRUCTIVE |
I see the guy on God TV, he is just saying heresy. These are teachings the devil brings to kill the God consciousness in human. The road to heaven is narrow. It cannot accommodate sin. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Also grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. |
Huuummmm. Mohammed daura... Presidency Lawal Daura.. Dss.. Presidency.. Buhari too is daura... President. The Daura dynasty. Okay.. |
fratermathy:Anything that directly or remotely have political interpretation in Nigeria must have the party labels involved. So you are also partisan. Nigeria needs convergence. You can't heal Nigeria by pretending about past issues or fundamental questions of diversity. Gloating and annihilation of the images of others does not show the needed convergence. Any point you made, that's not political is something that you can make without the contentious symbolism of "change" Exam malpractice can be addressed without encapsulating it into an obvious partisan "change" mantra. |
Well, not all change is believable. Why should I believe in a change when the proponents -Said a fight against boko haram is a declaration of war against the north. -they said boko haram, being labeled a terrorist group was wrong and unconstitutional. - they said the president who went to discuss how to end boko haram in chard was going to plant more bombs. -they never condemned the bombing of churches and killing of Christians until the killings reached home. - only see those in other party as corrupt while they are not. -want to destroy every good legacy of the past government so that they can be seen as the only good ones especially if and when they fall-shot -They refused to prosecute corruption within. -They don't want to question the source of their campaign funds but want to make the other a daily subject for scrutiny. - They allow and defend Fulani herds men killing Nigerians lie to us that they are Libyans just to cover up impunity. - They steal in government yet point to others. Why should I believe in a change where the proponents, -clearly despise others as if they don't have a choice to accept or reject there "change" -they want me to believe that the fear of them is the sole determinant of my living in tranquility. -the change proponents are extremely divisive and use "corruption" as a means to perpetrate division so that they can loot without being caught or questioned. Sorry, I'm not obligated to want such "change" May I also state that those who are quick to remind us of not being partisan. are actually partisan. |
Please can someone help me here. 90% of pictures taken by ladies these days as all about " see my backside /ass/nyash" Please don't ignore. I've been thinking about it. They are either face another direction and turning their faces just to show face. But the main photo is to show backside. Why? |
omenka:Lame. |
Now this is a volcano |
Now this is really low. |
Police no dey buy petrol? |
Wow,! When salaries are not being paid... |
koboko69:Wow.. I never knew what I posted was an attack. Besides, the issue of deregulation have been on before 2012 and oil was $37 in 2008. I'm looking at the rationality vs politics. If it's rational and have been rational. Shouldn't we say politics made us act irrational? |
greenpasture:I was responding to the thread. I don't know what you are talking about. |
DropShot:So now we are no longer entitled to subsidy abi? In 2008... Were we entitled to subsidy when crude oil prices went down too to $37? What about 2005 and 2006 when OBJ was all out about deregulation.. remember that this was the first issue yaradua had to confront when he came in, as there was petrol scarcity prior to his inauguration. At least we knew what happened in 2008. |
I don't agree with Ayo sogunro, that the 2012 protest was not about GEJ. His position may be that of NLC, but the others were directly against GEJ. If we want to say the truth, we should please say it. That protest was what I followed from start to finish. I saw everything and can tell you what different persons said at various platform. The mock coffin and all that. From the NLC angle it was about the masses until it was hijacked. Yes it was. You think people were pained that the protest stopped for nothing? How many states governors could Speak up then. Recall that the decision was taken after the December 2011 economic council meeting and it was only Adams oshomole that was courageous to speak at the town hall meeting. Chibuike Amaechi just said he'll subsidize for rivers state as part of the palliative. This was because it was initially a collective decision. One of our guys Agba jalingo was on channels TV and said he wished the protest will continue as it was capable of bringing down the government. Now tell me if he wasn't coming from an emotive political angle. I could go on and on and on.. But no need.. If it's the occupy Nigeria protest that I followed.... Sorry no body can bullshit me. I knew when it later took a strong political dimension against the person of GEJ. There are some things I can't say here.. But let's move on... But let's not distort history. It's always painful to those who know the truth. |
fiizznation:Why do you think this is the right time and not before now. In 2012 we were given the breakdown of how the price was about N140.. What is the breakdown down that gave us N145.. Especially since crude oil is now priced low. With this, don't you think Nigerians will be paying more than other countries comparatively? One of the media big men here in Lagos just told us that he was wrong to have opposed the deregulation in 2012. Do you think we all were wrong or we should insist, for political sentiments, that 2012 was not a good time to deregulate, giving that the government have been advocating deregulation even when obj was president? Besides, the popular cliche; corruption, have been one major reason to deregulate even before 2012, in 2012 and now too. Do you think we allowed corruption in that sector to remain by our insistence in 2012?.. I think we did because the subsidy corruption remained even with this government. |
At N145/liter, you can take the risk. All die na die. For the record, people should stop all these high horse posture. There's no where in Nigeria that Petro tanker will spill it's products and Nigerians will allow it to waste. It's basic instinct in Nigeria. |
What's this? |
When we don't condemn Sahara reporter for what they did... we now want to condemn this? |
Coming from people who will easily say. Leave! if you are in an abusive relationship. Some of the buharist said so in the other thread. Unity is never a force thing. We can't pretend about the unity of Nigeria. As an entity it must be talked about, reviewed and agreed on. If anything happens to buhari today and he is suddenly out of power, you'll know that all these people shouting United Nigeria don't give a damn. If such should happen, you'll know osinbajo can't be a substitute for buhari. |
Some persons can't stand buhari's government being interrogated... To them, everything about buhari is right. Where he is absolutely wrong, they'll blame the past government, his subordinates, the system or just about anything but buhari. We all know that people in this government are not expressing themselves and everyone is watching their back. Let me state it clear. I challenge anyone to remind me of this doesn't happen this way. This government's score card and what they will campaign with in 2019 will be. "People didn't steal government's money like the last government " That may not be true as people will steal but will be covered to sustain the anti corruption narrative. You can imagine a business person at yaba market who obviously have had and excruciating business experience in four years being told, it doesn't matter after all, people are not stealing government money like before. how will that affect him. You guys will have a lot of defending to do. |
Toks2008:Bros, your post in the thread was in order. I didn't see anything wrong with it. No body was saying go about beating women or the female folks. In fact your points were the raw fact that should help men and women live better. But you know, people are always emotional with issues like this rather than being factual. Apart from Seun 's personal believe, he had to bow to popular opinions even when he knows deeply that these positions really need to be interrogated and subjected to reality checks. I've noticed that most women who have peace in their homes don't temper with their husbands ego no matter what. Those who don't have peace even with their intelligence, are those who have one way or the other, fallen short of the points you made. In fact, a pastor told us some time back, that one responsibility of a wife is to massage her husbands ego for life... He told us how important that key is and how it's going to affect present day marriages. I never made up the examples a gave. Both happened to people I know very well. While the other was in a public transport I entered from cms to Ajah. You've made your points, I agree with them. It takes a lot to stand out when majority want to lie to themselves. Finally, your point is a better solution to domestic violence than the hypocritical "don't touch a lady, no matter what" We all know that's a lie. |
When the bornu state governor said it that day, I knew that was the plan. The who script was well executed. Na God go judge this boko haram matter. |
In my office a lady who was eventually fired, Broke the heads of two of my male colleagues just because they corrected her. Well, in the two occasions the two guys went home / clinic with bleeding heads. From that day, I knew those who insist on "don't touch a woman no Matter what" are suffering from self inflicted daftness. Yes, they are daft. The lady in question wouldn't have done it to the second guy if she got equal feedback. Years back here in Lagos a young female teacher beat up the principal of her school for having an affair with her and backing off. She went to his office, dragged his trousers, disgraced him in the presence of the students. The guy would have ended it if he WOZED her but he took the shame while the lady talked tough about it. Until they were both fired. It still happened here in lekki. I've also see a woman attack a bus conductor because of change, grabbing his dickk. It happened at ozumba mbadiwe here in VI too. The calaba woman grabbed his dickk and jacked the conductor up to pull him down, before some of us intervened. Sorry, my own take is, Do unto others as you want them to do to you. Who fucck up, suppose collect. Unless you have mercy. Besides, ladies are becoming violent these days and boast about it. |
We've been warned of noisy weddings and things like this. I won't say more. The wise won't do. |
Presidential cattle. |
nrexzy:Which of the points in the press release is not correct |
This is shifting the goal post. |
