The more reason I insist on chastity. No why will someone marry a lady who has exposed herself to such demonic influence. These days a lot of people are being dragged far into occultic witchcraft nest through romantic relationships and sex.

Forget beauty and class. The world is becoming too occultic.

omolami:
36 ministers suppose to emerge for the Nation. What happens is that each state governor nominates ministers from their respective states to the FG. In this Buhari's dispensation, it was not so. Governors had no say on who was nominated for their states. Buhari solely selected. This was not the norm in the past and it is dictatorship and complete act of impunity on the part of Buhari. Surprisingly however, no governor is talking because they fear Buhari who they say the body odor/language makes them quiet..If Amaechi was to be the chairman of governors forum and GEJ president, Amaechi would have by now be fighting the president. Meanwhile the Zamfara state governor who is currently the chairman is either playing ethnic card or is just docile,
You have a point. That's why some of us said amaechi was silly.

*How many companies pay 200k sef?

*Anything wrong in Nigeria having a social security scheme?
*That still wouldn't stop the government from creating jobs and creating enabling environment for new businesses

* I don't want to believe that the people who made the promises were daft, because this kind of defense tells tells us so.

*Questions about this promise was asked when it was being made. We had a strong debate on it on this forum. It made front page several times. The proponents told us it was workable. They even told us that they'll block leakages to ensure it's done

*Threads like this leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

*it was a promise for pet sake. A well articulated and documented one.

Abeg is this how we will be defending failure of promises?

Its clear that some nigerians are daft and the so called journalist are not helping matters.

First things first there is a 2015 budget that was passed by the previous administration, you dnt expect the new government to start spending outside that budget.
Where did he get money for bailout? Was it in the budget? Was there any appropriation for it?
Politics › Re: What Has Buhari's Administration Achieved This Year? by ndcide(m): 9:08pm On Nov 04, 2015
Look at them trying to force achievement for buhari.

Answer to the topic :

Nothing tangible.

The truth is Buhari knows but he'll be politically wrong to admit it. He really think those people around him will tell him the truth?

It took olise methu to tell buhari to change his narrative about the country, guess what, he was adamant. Not because of any good reason, just because it came from PDP.

Ovamboland:
It's a pity many Nigerians have very short memory, was it not an indication of what to expect when Jonathan had to get a loan to pay salaries before he handed over? Did we not witness banks and business shutting down operations for the first time in peace time under Jonathan? Were there no job losses experienced by bank and manufacturing firms early this year just a few months after the oil price collapse? Shows how superb Jonathan managed the revenue earned by his government.

If the oil price collapse happened 6-12 months earlier, i doubt Jonathan will have the courage to seek re-election, and if he did he won't get 50% of votes from south-south his support base.

The truth is whatever economic growth reported under Jonathan was fueled by mainly by all time high oil price. That's why everything was blown away a few months even before he handed over.
Are you now saying the challenges of the last president was justified given the oil price issue?

That wasn't the narrative at all. From what we could see all economic growth indices was visible during GEJ s time. One could see the visible efforts to hold the forth. We could see the effort for foreign direct investments. It wasn't this bad. Our banks were confident irrespective of the challenges. Go and have a chat with your banker and see.

The time it became bad was when the election was becoming so close. The politics was massive that it entered every sector. The power sector was attacked simply because of politics not because the government never invested to made things better; same with the oil sector and other areas. Hope you know that FDIs is something that involves serious hard work. You have other government in the region working also.

Look what happened was a serious campaign where people keep saying things are bad because of the president, to the extent that those who things are not bad for, agree with the forceful but wrong narrative. That's just it.
I challenge you to go to the streets, ask captains of industries, managers of SMEs, top business men, and ask them for a very honest comparison. apart from the self induced optimism or benefit of doubt given to buhari, the present state of the economy and the nation is really bad. Go to the market and compare prices of commodities now and what it was, this time last year.

Look the essence is not to attack the government of buhari, but to make them put their eyes on the ball. They have a wrong focus at the moment.

Please say the truth. Haba...

Things were not

There is no basis to compare GEJ with Buhari. GEJ is far better than buhari. Look at the mess buhari is putting the country through.

It's just that some persons can't see themselves criticising buhari, very few of his sycophants are pleased with him.

If buhari is making headway GEJ wouldn't be in the news. Tell me what is working at the moment. Is it the economy, electricity, employment, infrastructure? Nothing.

If not that some people hate GEJ for nothing would you empirically say buhari knows what his doing.

That is the WHOLE idea behind Omojuwa and all our so-called activists. It's all about building themselves. I'm from an older generation and am quite conversant with when Keyamo was doing his own ranting. He's now popular and rich, and even has a good reputation in Nigeria to boot. Right from Soyinka storming Western Nigeria radio station with a gun till Chude and Omojuwa today, the story has been consistent: black man is unable to see beyond his nose; he only thinks of how to be "great". Even for others to succeed like him he doesn't want - he wants to be greatER without being gifted. If you think Nigeria continues to get worse as the years go by by accident, I'm just sorry for you: those people achieved their real aim, and that aim was self, not Nigerian betterment
PS: brother, sorry I don't mean "you" singularly, I was trying to address everyone forgetting I quoted you

Progressives Congress, APC, Governors’ Forum, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has said in the clear terms that “Rivers and Akwa Ibom States are very strategic to the APC”.
Okorocha, who made this known while fielding questions from journalists in Owerri, also claimed that the electorate in the two states voted overwhelmingly for the APC.
“Rivers and Akwa Ibom States are very strategic to the APC. The electorate in the two states voted overwhelmingly for the APC but their votes were stolen by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, through various forms of electoral malpractices”,

Omojuwa have no value whatsoever to add to Fayose or anyone.
Ambode only wasted his time with him. In fact ambode only obliged because of the recent bashing he receives and he wants to do anything to save face.

Did it helps? No! It only added to Omojuwa's profile having taken some of the governor's time.

Some times I feel we should lie to this government and tell them the truth in 2019. But it's too risky many Nigerians must have died of their ineptitude.

The money he spent on 10 trips is not up to the amount GEJ spent on 1trip(Infact the money PMB has spent is not up to the amount GEJ spent on one UN waka) and GEJ travelled more.Make una dey analyze with fear of God.For details of the 21 trips of Jonathan in 2013 alone (that is more than 2 years after his inauguration in 2011 ohhh when he should have settled down) see link www.thescoopng.com/2013inreview-high-flyer-the-21-foreign-trips-of-pres-jonathan-in-2013/
You may also check out this 'closer' link on Nairaland www.nairaland.com/2461182/jonathans-foreign-trips-gulp-n3.3bn
Why must you bring GEJ into all this. If GEJ is always your standard when it comes to buhari, then ostensibly, he was never bad. He was just a victim of manipulated hate. Because those who hated Jonathan for their conditions are in same conditions and even worse and still can't tell themselves the truth.

However, I agree that GEJ made some needless travels but why is buhari doing the same thing. It means GEJ's travels was not the problem but a self inflicted despondency as shown by the writer of the article you referred to. At this rate buhari's travels will gulp ten times more. That should be the worry of you and the writer who was doing a hatchet job to criticise GEJ for lucre sake. By now he should have written about buhari's wasteful trips overseas when the economy is prostrate. Or you still can't feel it. Go to offices now, banks don't have money, CEOs and employers are tensed and angry, electricity supply is not what it used to be, SMEs are not getting contracts.

At this point it's unwise to defend buhari, he must be forthcoming, not hiding behind Adesina or garba shehu.

My points are very valid.

-Human reactions are not straight forward, it's usually due to a combination of events and sentiments.

-the initial post was one of sentiments, I could see it hence I addressed it. FACT.
-you can not measure buhari and ambode on absolutely different yardstick. That's stupid sychophancy.
- ambode's campaign was on the need to rescue Nigeria and form a synergy with the federal government. This issue is one of such. BUT it is obvious that there's little he can do with the the federal government especially regarding fright movement from the port. But the federal government is asleep at the moment, Snoring and grounded. Yet those who can't decipher this, will call ambode. That's stupidity.

Finally, I'm not hypocritical I don't pretend or hide not supporting APC both in Lagos and Abuja.
