Osama Bin Laden has finally been killed by the U.S. military after a decade-long hunt to avenge the 9/11 attacks.
The leader of Al Qaeda was killed in a firefight with American soldiers in his $1million mansion hideout near Islamabad in Pakistan

In a dramatic statement President Barack Obama said the U.S. military had recovered the body and confirmed to the world he had finally been caught.
‘Tonight I can report to the American people and the world that United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda and a terrorist who is responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women and children,’ he said.

‘Justice has been done’.
Within minutes of the news breaking Americans began gathering outside the White House to sing the national anthem and chant: ‘USA! USA!'

In a spontaneous outpouring of emotion, thousands started cheering and clapping and waving American flags to show their support.
In his televised statement Mr Obama said that bin Laden was killed in a helicopter raid by a small group of U.S. Navy Seals who stormed his mansion in an affluent area 80 miles from Islamabad.

They were working on a tip which first surfaced last August after ‘years of painstaking work’ from the CIA and had taken months to run it into the ground.
‘Last week I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action and authorised an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice,’ Mr Obama said.

'At my direction the U.S. launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abadabad, Pakistan. After a firefight they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body.’

Another source of cheap labour? Well remember that none of the other tribe can prepare the Suya like the hausas. Nigerians its time to forgive and forget. Together we stand. Its time to move on. I pray they don't do it again.

Who will polish our shoes?
Who will watch our gates from thieves?
Who will sell water to us (meruwa)?
Who will speak those funny English to make us laugh?
Who will supply us with tomatoes and grandnut?
These are things we take for granted now but at that time we would miss these services from the mallams.

NYSC SHOULD BE SCRAPED. GIVE EACH GRADUATE 200K upon graduation. NIGERIA CAN AFFORD IT. It is better than their continues killing in the hands of the Northern cows. This will further increase the hatred of the already hated and wicked MALLAMS

But seriously NYSC should be stopped. Too many of them have been dying in the North. Instead Government should give every uni graduate 200K upon graduation. I think that is better. This is the reason why an hausa man can only have an hausa friend. You need to see hw isolated they are abroad while other Nigerians intermingle they always avoid friendship with hausas here.

Its not as if I am blowing this thing out of proportion but men we've got to be truthful Nigeria is not the only country that have muslims in Africa. They are there in Ghana too. Whenever the western media write about us its always "the predominantly Muslim North and christian south" because of the type of fanatism in the North. Aah what is it even abuja is not safe. @ silami. Pls tell me your joking that members of your family tried to kill you because of your religion. Most of us in the south are north aware that there are Christians in the north that is the reason for the generalization. I only found out recently when I became friendly with a girl from Kaduna. To be truthful I was surprise to find out that there are few Christians there. Men I have never been this irritated all my life.
