Honestly I don't understand the huge expectations on FBNH, same stock has outperformed GTBANK, Dangcement, Zenith from year low.. at least in my portfolio returning over 40%, excluding about 11% dividend (already consumed at mama bisola's buka, with a glass of kunu).

Investing in stocks involves a lot of patience and careful planning. I am equally heavy on both gtbank and dangcement, bought from their lows..

Invest wisely grin grin grin
not only with a lot of patience and careful planning
But also with loads of money.

You exited too early.....or do you mean 'sold at 5.85'? If it's 5.85, it's good then. smiley
Seems this is their earning season, those inside the bus should just be wary of greed. Anything is possible anyway. smiley

Some stocks are for the patient ones or medium/long term investors, especially when gotten at cheaper prices. Not all is good for JIJO.
If not for the atmosphere and situation of things around the world, I would have said boldly that Unilever will still return 100% from its year low (9.90).......but no one is sure of anything now.
*No one should quote me* At owner's risk. Also do not ask me for chart on this. grin

I wanted to say, let me phone a friend but you gave the 50% answer from my comment already. cheesy

The other half is this: health sector responds to results most of the time and on few instances to special news or cases.
Despite the covid issue in town, there wasn't any response from the sector until May & Baker's result came out this week. This makes it seasonal....... quarterly or fye period.

FIDSON is responding in anticipation of result, not necessarily cos of covid.

Like I said, it's strictly my opinion and I may be wrong.....the first half. grin

Be ready to ride healthcare stocks for medium to long term. They are seasonal and much beneficial to long termers in my opinion.
U may be lucky if you're in for short term anyway.

Caveat: strictly my opinion. I may be wrong.

But it's the reverse. Most women I know are better savers than men but mostly the wrong investment and they are very secretive about it. Alot of women lost heavily to MMM and other Ponzi scheme.

What l noticed is that men thinks they are wiser than women.
Even my boys here use to say this one is a woman to their friend who they felt behaved in their head "abnormally". Where do they get that idea from is what l don't know BC l no get girl child.

U guys might be stronger physically but not emotionally and psychologically
Not all women anyway.

Salesmen selling luxury goods will rather cajole the wife before the husband
is not entirely true BC sales people easily convince my husband than me
He always brought home things which he hardly used
How they usually convince him baffles me.

There is a reason why salesmen target our wives and children whenever they want to market goods and services, that needs emotional blackmail in order to sell.

Once they have succeeded in winning our wives, our wives will now convince us to buy such goods and services because they have our mumu bottons
generalizing women isn't fair BC all women are not d same
I am a rational consumer to d core, right from childhood. l plan my things and no one can cajole me.

For your information, Nigeria imports virtually everything her citizens consume.
The money in importation business is better imagined. That is why custom generates huge revenue.
These importers have their Mega Distribution Centers in many African countries. We are talking about chains of business clusters across Africa.
One guy in Niger Republic who owns a shop (not a major distributor) makes sales in millions on daily basis.
My dear, we have secret Igbo billionaires and the Igbos know that other ethnic groups hate to see them succeed. Do not expect them to advertise their wealth.

He once wanted to transfer some little cash for me to have some bottles of beer some years ago, but I sincerely told him ... I would use the money to fuel my evangelism bus. Surprisingly he insisted I must use it for beer. At the end, I told him to forget the money. I would have collected the little money then and use it as I wish. However, it is a sin against the invisible God.

Well, if not for this lock down, I was supposed to be in Abiriba now, on my second missionary trip this year. If he (loco) has changed, Abiriba needs a lot of financial support.
