Sescession would have died off if Igbos re minority, probably the larger tribe would swallow it in years to come, but here we re talking of major ethnic group in Nigeria that have become so conscious of their ethnicity especially this time and age..

Even some minor ethnic groups have existed for centuries let alone millions of Igbos in this country and those in diaspora as well..

Peaceful disolution is the best way for us so that we might be good neighbours , than this seek and hide game we are playing here.. But if by any chance Nigeria gets balkanized in an ugly or unpleasant way, what's happening in middle east would be a child's play to compare with what would be happening between Igbos and their ugly neighbours...

I can't believe that the story finally got to nairaland and possibly the media. That's my parish and I was there when we made her stupid comment siting that the choir member must have come from the Igbo village hence the reason why he has been singing Igbo songs during the first collection after Holy Communion. The priest had the opportunity to apologize to the congregation right and end all hostilities there but the mumu kept on justifying his action siting that "we complain that Fulani is dominating Nigeria and we all complaining, it's the same the Igbos are doing in the catholic church". This really irked the congregation,
