Fantastically corrupt NJC should be ashamed for not observing elementary rules of official letter writing. It is wrong to address official letters to appointees of government be it Ministers, DGs or whoever, with their names included, since they can be removed from office at anytime and such letters will be unattended to. But it is safe to use the names of elected officials like the President, Governor and members of the National Assembly, in official letters to them as their removal goes through a process which gives enough time to attend to such letters officially. This must have been the point Daura was raising in his reply to NJC!! |
Nonsense! He wouldn't have gone through the experience if he had built world class hospitals here in Nigeria within his six wasteful years in Aso Rock as President! Shioor!! |
The attempted arrest of the judge took place at 1am, yet it attracted passers by and journalists! Something does not add up in the report! Passers by and journalists at 1am?! Are they ghosts or spirits? |
Leadership newspaper can give its award to a pig or cow, I don't care! A thousand awards can never change the fact that Dogara and his gang of thieves in the House of Representa-thieves padded the budget and are mindless looters!! They will all have their day in court and Kuje prison or kirikiri very soon insha Allah. In fact, I refuse to be intimidated or discouraged by all the nonsense happening now in this country. Very shameful!!! |
Nigerians are simply the problem of Nigeria! Until our value system changes and we stop treating people living above their means with respect, so shall corruption continue to thrive! Very soon, a toilet in the unity schools will be constructed with N100 million!! Rubbish!!! |
Dino May be terminally ill, so he wants to return his loot and make peace with Nigerians before going to meet his maker! If not, I wonder why he is canvassing an illegality to tackle the cancer of corruption that has pushed our economy into recession!! |
Rubbish! Adeyanju should blame Jonathan and Okonjo Iweala and not Buhari for the avoidable economic recession the country is in at the moment!! Shioor!!! |
This judgement by Supreme Court is defective, inconclusive, cheap and weak! Though I'm not a lawyer, I'm educated and politically conscious enough to know that Yahaya Bello did not have a running mate at the time supplementary election was conducted!! How could he have been a valid candidate in the eye of the law going into an election without a Deputy? At best, Faleke should have stepped in to continue from where Audu stopped or the whole process should have been nullified and a fresh election conducted. I weep for my country for this unconvincing judgement!!! |
Do they have LOCUS STANDI to protest on behalf of Dame? Over to Lawyers in the house! |
I laugh whenever I see Ministers, Governors, Legislators and other top politicians lament the current economic recession and the need to tackle it by improved productivity and cost cutting measures. They are all hypocrites! All the retreats, fora, high level meetings and conferences they have been organizing are mere talk shops without intended actions. They still use armoured vehicles, holiday abroad, use long convoys of SUV Jeeps, send their children to schools abroad and consume foreign goods!! I don't blame them, but the docile, timid and easily compromised Nigerian masses who cannot resist them decisively!!! |
I will simply lock up all mallams selling forex at black market, prosecute Saraki and Dogara and starve National Assembly of funds, withdraw all the expensive jeeps being used by ministers and DGs and replace them with Peugeot cars, sell off all aircrafts in presidential fleet except two, release TSA funds to banks giving substantial loans to agric and SMEs, concession all federal roads nationwide for repairs and tolling using direct labour, create Environment Avengers in conjunction with state governments to keep the environment clean, improve the technology of illegal refineries in Niger Delta, investigate and prosecute corrupt bank officials and regulate fees paid in private schools up to university level! |
Useless Senate President spewing rubbish out of his stinking mouth! The solution to our economic problems should start with the discredited Senate he presides over. Confirmed looting Senators, especially former Governors, should return ill gotten funds; Senators jumbo allowances reviewed downwards to 5 figures; All illegal constituency allowances returned and number of aides cut down considerably!! Saraki on his part should also refund Societe Generale Bank money he stole in addition to returning Kwara State funds he looted since his time as Governor. If he can't do the above together with his thieving, greedy and lazy Senators, he lacks moral basis to sermonise on economic recovery strategies!!! |
The naira will improve relative to the dollar if we can do the following: parallel market operators are integrated into the mainstream such that their transactions are documented and tracked. This will help to curb those with huge stolen naira from spiking the rate anyhow. Also, all invoices for importation of goods, including petroleum products, must be scrutinized properly to curb capital flight which I suspect is happening now. Further, serious cultural and music carnivals such as Ojude Oba festival in ijebuland, Ogun State, must be organized monthly till next year Easter with massive publicity to attract massive tourists. This will bring in forex while creating quick jobs for local artisans. Our foreign embassies can help in selling this idea overseas. Moreover, an AMCON specially for the aviation industry must be created to take over the debts of airlines which will be repaid later gradually on the condition that some of them merge to reduce operational cost. A vibrant aviation sector is needed immediately to bring in foreign tourists and investors. Also, different diaspora associations must be engaged to organize Nigerians abroad to increase remittances home in addition to subscribing to diaspora bonds for investment purposes such as government's 40% equity holding in discos, and gencos and other critical national assets. Finally, massive campaign is needed to stem our taste for foreign goods and food items, including holidays abroad and adverts on international media! |
I was almost crying after reading this pathetic story. Bad enough that the school placed a poisonous substance carelessly for an innocent child to drink. It is worse for the State Commissioner for Education not to show enough empathy talk less of sanctioning the Proprietress. They both are murderers! It is even worst that women activists like Josephine Okei Odumakin are less concerned about this apparent murder!! I weep for the innocent boy murdered by the system. It is troubling that his parents might not get justice afterall!!! Amosu and his wife must personally revisit the matter. Any God fearing parent in position of authority will! |
I think Dalung should beg Buhari to redeploy him to Ministry of Mines and Steel Development for more effectiveness! As long as he remains Sports Minister, Nigeria can never excel in sports!! That is the gospel truth!!! |
I respect and salut PYO's optimism. The projected turnaround of the economy is achievable even before the 2018 timeline. I just wish Nigerians will shun PDP elements wanting to distract this government at all cost and team up to take the country out of recession. The Lord that performed the same feat in Samaria in the time of Elijah will repeat it in the time of PYO! I have hope!! |
May God console his parents, family members and friends. Painful indeed! |
I think auntie Oby Ezekwesili and her group should leave Chibok matter for now and switch to the campaign on 'bring back our women's chastity'! In that instance, there won't be a hiding place for rapists and the police indulging them. Our police are simply 'satanic' the way they treat serious life threatening issues referred to them for investigation! Shioor!! |
Saraki and his band of wicked thieves in the National Assembly are the main reason a white fella I encountered briefly at Addis while waiting for a connecting flight late in 2015, vowed never to invest in Nigeria! His reason was that our National Assembly was terribly corrupt and can never make good laws for the country except it benefits them!! I can't agree less going by the conduct and performance of our legislators in and out of the two chambers. Very embarrassing, shameful and repulsive!!! Indeed, the much touted change should start with them! |
Nigerians are like the children of Israel that would prefer the cucumber of Egypt in slavery than the pains of crossing the desert into the promised land! It is amazing that they are comparing the corrupt, wicked and wasteful Jonathan government to the current methodical, focused and pragmatic Buhari's administration!! If only Jonathan had built additional refineries during his 6 years of dollar rain, we will not be committing over 30% of our lean forex resources to importation of petroleum products now!!! The forex would have been available for manufacturers to do good business and create jobs. I feel sorry for our people who would not appreciate God for bringing Buhari to salvage this country! Imagine Dame Patience Jonathan claiming ownership of $31 million! How did she come about it? Nigerians, think deeply o! |
Rubbish and biased post! Bros Fashola and Fayemi and auntie Kemi are still star performers in this administration! They are doing their best to impact the economy. They can't turn things around within a short time, but I'm optimistic that they will achieve much in terms of delivery eventually!! Auntie Kemi especially deserves our encouragement and support to fix the economy. She is sincere, competent and determined to make a difference. I have seen her marshaling her arguments at meetings with Governors brilliantly and have no doubt that she knows her onions! Haters should let her be!! Nigeria will be great again with the right attitude by all of us. |
Unfortunately, western powers and other world leaders believe in OBJ more than anyone in this country, even more than Soyinka! Wonder why they trust and accept him that much!! |
Any God fearing person knows that Jonathan government laid the foundation of the current recession in the country! I foresaw the current trouble given the mindless looting of the treasury by a few thieves around Jonathan like Stella Oduah and Diezani Madueke!! Until the corrupt faulty foundation deceptively built by Jonathan is pulled down and another is put in place, as being done by Buhari's economic team to restructure and diversify the economy, the situation will get worse and the country will go into depression after recession!!! The economic team must be commended for their patriotic service to salvage Nigeria! |
Fayose and Wike brought him to re-organize PDP and dance azonto for APC? They should equally go and beg him to stop dancing as the music has since stopped! Yeye de smell for PinDinPin!! |
I believe Garba Shehu! It is unthinkable for this government to order such a stupid probe!! Buhari is more polished and refined than the Sun Newspaper Management, the carriers of the falsehood!!! |
With all these reveal actions, it is difficult to convince foreign investors to come and invest in Nigeria! Naira will soon hit 500 going by the monumental stinking greedy odor oozing out of the fantastically corrupt National Assembly!! Pity indeed!!! |
With the benefit of hindsight, Sunday Oliseh was wise to quit the position of Chief Coach of Super Eagles! Our thieving NFF and clueless Sports Minister are vampires, not worthy to work with!! Who did we offend as a nation to be saddled with these despicable characters?!!! |
Assuming Dalung did not spend a dime on the so called 'guests', his intention to take them to Brazil at all despite Buhari's warning smacks of official recklessness, double-speak and abuse of position! If those whose passport numbers and names are mentioned in the report have not come out to deny the details publicly, then no one should doubt the authenticity of the report. Some highly placed government officials are worse than infidels!! They are not adding value to Buhari's government at all!!! |
The report is a lie from the pit of hell! It is a pity that many on this platform are quick to react to just any report without cross checking or reflecting over the authenticity of such reports. Truly, my people perish for lack of knowledge. Shioor!! |
It is a pity that Dalung is a product of President Buhari's 6 months search for tested hands to run his government! It was a wasted exercise full of regrets, going by Dalung's performance, outbursts and disposition before, during and after the Rio Olympics!! As for the Senator (Ogba or what is his name) criticizing Dr Takasu's gift to our 'abandoned' under 23 Dream Team, I'm not surprised, as nothing good can ever come out of that stinking, debased, rubbished, violated and extinguished Senate, populated by thieves, drug barons, thugs, touts, dullards, budget padders, women bashers, corrupt elements, lazy, greedy and discredited politicians!! The Japanese Philantropist should ignore them and continue his good works and service to humanity. God bless him. |
Many legislooters such as Dinno and Sarakii as well as members of Judiciary and their families are abroad spending their ill gotten wealth! Yet some idiots will blame Buhari for naira crash against the dollar!! As long as these thieves roam around freely, spending moneys they did not work for, the naira will continue to crash!!! Nigerians should hold the legislators and judiciary responsible for our woes and not Buhari! They are the corrupt elements!! |
Despite all the lootings in the past by Jonathan, David Mark and their gang of thieves and the current daylight robbery by Saraki, Dogara and their band of thieves, some idiotic fools will still blame Buhari for our current economic woes including the exchange rate palava! Nigerians will never cease to amaze me!! They know their tormentors, yet they look the other way and blame innocent honest leaders trying hard to fix the rot in the system!!! Shioor! |
