I respect their choice of location for celebration, but in this trying time, why Hawaii in the USA?! I thought Obudu or Yankari here in Nigeria would have been better as they do not require forex spending but naira. Every available forex is needed for production back home. If you promised your child 200 naira monthly stipend while awaiting admission into the university and your earnings from your business was 20k then. If suddenly, your earnings drop to 5k, do you still go ahead with the payment, even to the extent of borrowing to fulfill the promise? No way, you will not! Rather, you should be more concerned with the payment of school fees from the paltry earnings when he gets admission. A reasonable and sensible child will understand and bear with the dad. I believe a good father will rather invest in his child's education to secure his future. Likewise Buhari is committed to investing in agriculture in the face of dwindling oil prices, in order to diversify the economy and ensure food security, thereby securing the future of the Nigerian youth. This is more sensible and sustainable!!

He should tell Nigerians the names of contributors, how much each contributed, by cash or cheque, how he got the recipient judge's bank account number and why transfer rather than sending the money to the beneficiary through one of his Assistants? The N225k 'contribution' is even curious as N250k would have been more ideal. Even if he is discharged by the government court, he is still deemed guilty in the people's court and God's court!! Shame on those 90 SANs that followed him to court in solidarity. They are saboteurs in the temple of justice!!!

Many other serious governors have been invited to such events in recent times. For instance, Oshiomole featured prominently at the Cable's seminar on the economy last week. When will Fayose be found in decent companies and not local thugs and miscreants? I really pity the good people of Ekiti!
