Onlytruth: My friend why do you always return to dirty tactics? Oh I forgot that a pig belongs in the mud! hehe!Who is talking about Presidential candidacy here? The issue here is Nnamani exposing criminal activities which took place while he was Senate president. Your presidential material, Nnamani, probably participated in the crime and if he did not, found it in his heart not to expose the crimes and initiate impeachment proceedings one way or the other, to stop OBJ. Shame on you for promoting an admitted accomplice to serious crimes and possibly a criminal himself, for the highest office in our nation. |
Beaf: What kind of dunce are you?OK, lets see here, the security services succeeded because they prevented a Church from being bombed but allowed Okada riders to be bombed, ko? This reasoning alone shows that you are out of touch with realities, and that is being generous. olodo Nigeria is at war with Al Quaeda and BH groups, our commander-in-chief is nowhere to be found and Nigeria is losing this war while fools like you keep trying to call the war a religious war against Christians, in a silly attempt to absolve GEJ from criticisms. You sir, are worse than a disappointment. Enjoy yourself now because by 2015 or at the latest 2017, your game will be up. |
Beaf: You are here yarning crap as usual, while the newly widowed are mourning.shata dia and stop the hypocrisy. You knew the above and you posted this: Yes, well done to the security services; it is because security was increased around churches. Once again, you should be ashamed of yourself for turning this sad event into a religious conflict. |
my friend are you serious? For the multitudes of known and documented fulani nomad attacks and bloodshed on farmers, how many nomads are in jail or convicted so far? How many has been killed under Shariah for shedding innocent human blood?
Please tell us why the nomads are not arrested and jailed. Are the Fulanis controlling all the law enforcement agencies in Ekiti, Port Harcourt, or Lagos? |
_chucks, Elitism is only enjoyed by Fulani who use terror to secure its position and by proxy share with those willing to abandon their root and default under the Fulani protectorate. We should disband that protectorate!
Again you have a right to your opinions, but we all don't have to accept them as facts. I do however take offence to the statement above. Nigeria is a nation and not a Fulani, Yoruba, or Igbo protectorate. |
What are you afraid of?
Certainly not of a dullard like you. Flee, flea!! ![]() |
It's simple, with unrelented attacks carried out broadly to exhibit fear through bloodshed, coupled with a police force or military quick to jump and give protection to Fulani against local reprisals, justice is denied. . . . the victim's conscience is weared down and forced to accept the bloodshed as a normal part of co-existing. It is not!! The nomads are Fulani, the Police and Army is under Fulani, the Northern elites are Fulanis. The nomads are the foot soldiers, the thugs they employ to solidify their hold on the nation. You can do more damage and win more hearts quicker with mass bombing and carnage in one town quicker than you can deploy nomads rto raze through a farming village. . . . so boko haram was hijacked from its religious campaign of jihad and turned into political pseudo-army to wage the war on behalf of Fulani.
Give me a break!! The above is a bunch of balony and unfounded conjecture. I hope you know that a lot of people are not gullible to the point of believing stories simply because they sound great. If you have any information to conclude that BH has been hijacked by the Fulanis, so does the federal government. The reason why the Feds have not yet arrested any Fulani BH terrorist is because they do not exist. The Feds told us that they know the BH sponsors, why have they not arrested these Fulani sponsors yet? Stop spreading rumours such as this, they are quite dangerous. You have no evidence whatsoever to support this theory of yours, all you have is your opinion. You have a right to your opinion, but be respectful enough to tell us that these are merely your opinions, rather than facts based on verifiable evidence. |
Dude, what are you afraid of? Born to rule over illitertaes? I would have suggest you apply the valuable time you are wasting on this thread trying to cover up the already exposed track of the wicked northern leaders, by thinking of how to mend the crack within
Since you joined NL or acquired a new userid, you've opened 4 threads, here are the titles of three of them. (1) No Vacancy In Aso Rock By 2015-Capt.Barbosa (2) Jonathan Should Complete His 8 Years In Aso Rock- Capt. Barbosa. (3) Jonathan Should Completed His 8 Years In Aso Rock -capt. Barbosa. ![]() Need I say more? olodo |
I'm still trying to understand the purpose of this thread. Is its purpose to somehow help elect a Southerner in 2015, keep a Northerner from getting elected in 2015, or to simply confuse people with unverified falsities? Would Mallam _Negro be satisfied if a non Fulani Northerner becomes the President, or does his demystification process include preventing any Northerner from winning the election? Inquiring minds want to know. _Negro, Your time would be better spent analyzing the make-up of the PDP BOT and Tinubu's ambitions/calculations for 2015, than this unproductive exercise of yours. |
lagerwhenindoubt: @ndu_chuks and @Obiagu1 - what is the solution. how it happened and why it happened pales in comparison to who is responsible. who is really funding this group and how do we check it. It is obvious that this Government is grasping at straws to find any solution beyond Amnesty.I'm glad that you understand that this government has been neglecting its security responsibilities. We are at war, for goodness sake, where is our commander in chief to lead us to victory in this war? To make matters worse, we now have government agents telling the whole world that these violent attacks are religious based? SMH |
jmaine: https://i1233.photobucket.com/albums/ff390/ShaneDawg021/th_skateboardp.pngBros Ndu save yourself some breath abeg . .your sounding hilarious with each posthow so? Have you no brain or does bigotry render you brainless? |
@haka_nai, let Negro_Ntns continue to present his theory, he may even win the hearts of some SEers along the way. Time will tell whether his analysis is correct, 2015 is not very far away. Negro_Ntns will love to identify what part of the North you are from so that he can put you in his delusional Northern group and pigeon hole you in the process. This may very well be a campaign message by Negro_Ntns to garner some more votes for the Oba'Yoba NL title. His theory is interesting but essentially fictional and naive. |
Obiagu1: Don't make me laugh, for you to even suggest that the intended target could be government installations shows you're very dumb.Military installations and checkpoints have been their targets in the past, your conclusions were reached thoughtlessly. mumu, dolo. |
Obiagu1: For this attack to be on Easter Sunday, you don't need a prophet to tell you where the target is.You appear to be a dullard. Forgive me if I'm wrong. mumu |
ENEONWO: Nnamani didnt say he took any bribe from Obasanjo for 3rd term. He only said he is privy to the fact that Obasanjo made deductions from CBN to bribe senators. And Obasanjo could have disguised the reason for the deductions, which neither Nnamani nor Soludo would be able to query. If Nnamani had taken the bribe, he wouldnt be bold enough to accuse OBJ.Your naivity is typical of ignorant Nigerians. I venture to say that Nnamani comes from your region. olodo |
Beaf: Yes, well done to the security services; it is because security was increased around churches. You people who are perpetuating false news are irresponsible, to say the least. Most of the BH attacks have been against government installations rather than Churches. There is no telling where this particular suicide bombers were headed when their bombs exploded. They certainly did not park the exploded vehicles in any Church's parking lot. Why try to turn this into a religious war while dishonestly giving credit to an incompetent government and its security agencies? Shame on you, Beaf. olodo |
My the souls of the dead RIP. I remember in my teenage years, recently, riding donkeys for fun, through Sardauna Crescent. Moslems, Christians, Northerners and Southerners, lived there in harmony. Radar cinema was not too far away where we would play games of which "egg is stronger than the other", we could tell which egg had a stronger shell by sounding the shell off with our teeth. I am particularly saddened by this bombing. GEJ and his team need to deal with the worsening security issues. Its just a matter of time before the violence spreads to the NASS and Aso Rock, if the government continues to handle the situation with kid's gloves. ![]() |
Katsumoto: There is nothing sensitive about it. It remains an issue because a certain section of the country has used it as a tool to deal with others. Trust me when you have a president who appoints competent and fair minded individuals to certain offices and not those who allow Boko Haram murderers to escape, the issue of going on rampage will disappear. Nigeria is a nation of 160 million; I am sure it will not miss 2,000 should they be shot dead while rampaging. How did you transform the issue of supporting people on religious pilgrimages into the elimination of religious tolerance? I think you are mixing up completely unrelated issues. Both Christians and Muslims are supported when they go on these trips. It has become a tradition and its elimination should be handled sensibly. I agree with you that religious intolerance should be eliminated or minimally should be dealt with very stiff fines or imprisonment. I am however, disappointed in you for implying that fellow Nigerians, Igbos, Hausas, and Yorubas, who may have been killed due to religious violence are just statistics that will not be missed. Their families miss them, Nigeria misses them. Additionally, I challenge you to point out where a single Nigerian has been killed due to a religious "rampage" in the past 2 years. Since you cannot find any instance, and the only killings of innocent Nigerians recently have been at the hands of BH and MEND terrorists, and the Nigerian police/army, I'm tempted to conclude that you are giving BH & MEND your approval for killing 2000 innocent Nigerians because there are 160 million of us. You need to take back that thoughtless statement of yours, before I take my internet thrashing of you to another level. The only reason why I will give you a break for now is because I know your capability of baiting and setting traps. You fool no one, by the way. |
9ja voice: Mr.Ken is speaking now is because of his innocence. That man is the best senate president Nigeria ever have. You hold a senate president who witnessed gross abuse of power and bribery while in office and did nothing, in high regards? Would Nnamani come from your region by any chance? SMH |
Nigeria is a nation of 160 million; I am sure it will not miss 2,000 should they be shot dead while rampaging.I understand the prejudice in your post which allowed you to assume that the sensitivity will be expressed in terms of Boko Haram type activities. You are dead wrong on that. It might surprise you to know that, in terms of numbers, the SW region has benefited from these pilgrimages more than any other region. Add up the SW muslims and the SW Christians who were supported and you'll have the largest number of Nigerians who enjoyed the support. Don't introduce anger of BH activities into this matter. |
Katsumoto: Ndu_chuksThe ultimate goal should be to scrap this government support for Nigerians who go on pilgrimages to both Mecca and Jerusalem. I think getting rid of this tradition should take place, but should be way at the bottom of the list of priorities, simply because of its sensitive nature. |
Dede1: Of course, cabals will not waste breathe to threaten treasonable felony and jail term for those who intend to move away from the retrogressive ways of doing things. It is disingenuous to call our law enforcement mechanisms, cabal actions. You sir would be prosecuted for the treason not because some cabal wants to do so, but because you broke the law. Armed robbers might as well complain that the cabal is on a mission against them, when the robbers are caught breaking the law. nwannem, once again, change your ways and join us in rebuilding this nation, your idea of destroying it first, is not sensible. |
Anger and outrage, on Saturday, trailed claims by former President Olusegun Obasanjo that he did not initiate the infamous third term agenda.Nnamani is speaking from both sides of his mouth in a disgraceful manner and this is a man who may lead the PBP BOT as the chairman. Nnamani, sir, did you receive N50m from OBJ as bribe for supporting OBJ's third term agenda? You cannot accuse OBJ of withdrawing N8billion from CBN on the one hand, and then call the N50m payment rumours. These are the leaders of Nigeria!!! They all belong in jail, frankly. |
Dede1: The issue is not the radioactive substance which has a half-life when properly guarded. The problem is the National Accelerator Laboratory, in this case Nigeria, which continues to churn out radioactive minds, if I may borrow the Sam’s phrase, without good policy to regulate or guard the minds. In fact, it is insult to USA to have Fermilab liken to Nigeria in any scenario. There is no phase of unity in Nigeria except the useless real estate. Sometimes I am tired of English language yet the seemingly central catalyst for unity in Nigeria is the source of its disunity. We all know that you are unrepentant secessionist and separatist. You have a right to your point of view and we shall continue to respect that point of view. What is not acceptable is to champion treasonous causes publicly, outside of internet forums, because we shall throw you and your cohorts in jail. In your case, we may retroactively put you through a court martial, assuming you ever passed through Zaria. nwanne, change your ways and join us in rebuilding this nation, your idea of destroying it first, is not sensible. |
Now unlike you ndu_chuks, I will answer your question with a straight answer - no bull no trivial solutions (mr trivial solution I bet your laughing your butt off) Lol. Disintegration is not the only cure for Nigeria but its another antibiotic turked away in the shelves should the first shot fail. So much has happened in Nigeria for me to say the only thing that'll satisfy me is immediate disintegration. As a human, I want to have plan A and B, my plan A is to make where I'am work but if its not working I should be able to use my plan B. These are conditions under which I will be comfortable drapping Nigerian flag (plan A) 1. Create equal number of states or go back to regional govt. Regional government is preferred where each political zone in the current dispensation could become its own region 2. Conduct credible census with ethnicity in the data. You are implying that the current census data is not credible. May I remind you that the National Population Commision which conducts our census is made up of a Chairman and 37 members representing each state of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory. Each member of the commission approves the released figures. If you have any evidence that members of the commission are fraudulent, please present it. It is irresponsible to imply that their work is not credible simply because you don’t like the realities of their findings 3. Every state should be allowed to keep and manage its resources, that is if we dont go back to regional govt. Agreed, The exception would be off shore resources and those that affect national security like Uranium 4. Only 50 % of resources found in a location or region or state should be given to FG. This can be negotiated 5. Let states or regions control all their stuff from education to police, FG police will only get involve in matters that are more complicated (e.g if mr A from State B or region B is denied justice because of his ethnicity or faith) Agreed 6. Abolish current presidential system and replace it with parliamentary system and let every state or region produce First minister. From the pool of these first ministers we can choose who will be prime minister (This #6 can be modified). Debatable 7. No more bogus numbers of house of assembly, any region or state that can not stand economically must lose their house of assembly members and must be required to merge with any region or state that accepts them. This sounds like activism which may not have been well thought out. Further explanation is needed. 8. Every state or region must make their laws and their laws must be consistent with One Nigerian ideals, it must never be discriminatory. Are you thinking about the American style of federalism here? 9. FG will only handle two things - Defense and currency. Too narrow. Since you seem to like the American system, I’d suggest that you take a look at the number of federal government agencies they have. 10. FG must never use our common wealth for religious purposes, be it pilgrimage to Mecca or shango or Okija, enough of that. Why?? This has been a national tradition. Why scrap it when the result could lead to unnecessary religious tensions? 11. Seal the border with Niger republic and Chad, whoever must cross must do so after being properly checked. Agreed. All borders should be sealed, not just Niger and Chad I probably have other things to add to that list. Anyway, if we can have that either through national assembly or SNC then I'm in. If we cant get at least 70% of whats on that list then whats the point wasting time building and building when I know its going to be another 50 yrs 2.0.
Sam_Ikenna, the main issue I have with your list is not its content but how to implement the suggestions. Even if good people agree on the contents of the list, how do you plan to get rid of the current crop of leaders who are bent on maintaining the status quo? These people come from every tribe and state of the country, they control the legislative wing, the military, the economy, and just about all aspects of Nigeria. I’m sorry to say that without any concrete plan to wrestle power away from these folks, your list remains useless. Lists such as yours and some even more complete and with less controversial items, exist already. The issue is not a lack of ideas. I submit to you that if you don’t have a viable plan of getting the ideas on your list implemented, you may find yourself submitting the list in a post on NL in another 30 years. |
jason123: We need one of these men in Aso rock 2015; Fashola, Amechi, Chime and Rochas; if not, this will be another wasted generation. . . that is, if there will still be a Nigeria.I suppose in your mind, there is no one in the North that is capable of leading the country in 2015. I'd like to think that that's not what you meant by your statement above.
The problem Nigeria has today is not gang up or gang down, what we have are radioactive minds that will neither decay nor annihilate no matter how we try to spin or collide it in Fermilab.
Do you mind explaining the bolded in layman's terms? Do you, like the known separatists and secessionist, believe that disintegration is the only cure for what you call radioactive minds? Please do not dodge this question because your views are respected. |
It's good to be proficient in English, better to master your own regional language too. It's an advantage, the emotional connection you have to a mother tongue is a great leverage when learning.
Given what you wrote above, you should be in support of requiring proficiency in at least 1 major language before graduating from any Nigerian university, no?. |
noiseless: The SNIFFER PIG/JANJAWIID DEFENDER ndu chuks, just like his uncles such as el rufai & co accuse and blame gej for everything, will always run around like the headless chicken he is in a desperate effort to escape his evil trap. Only a fool, i repeat only a khart chewing janjawiid murdering fool like him keeps believing that nigeria must remain as it pleases them and them alone. You are seeking attention again and I will grant you a post this time. You can print the post and hang it on your wall as a reminder that ndu_chucks responded to your post. As usual, your three most sophisticated vocab words are prominent in your post (janjawiid sniffer pig). Those three words appear in almost all your posts primarily because of your mental inadequacies, but not to worry, we understand. Now, run along. Flee flea! |
I ran back to my ancestral land after I was chased, hunted down, and killed. Now, they said running to my homeland caused the death of millions of Nigerians. You brought war to me, I didnt bring war to you – big difference.
I think you conveniently failed to mention why you were chased in the first place and also why your commanders decided to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of innocent children and women to starvation, while they themselves were well fed and ultimately ran away. Common sense should have told these commanders that one should not sacrifice women and children in this manner only to run away in the end.
ndu_chucks let me help you a little bit by being kind to you in this easter celebration - I've come to understand you have no shame. I guess we should search for all those slaves that ran from away from servitude and violence and send them back to their killers and tormentors simply because they were former slaves. Your belief and attitude makes me sick to my stomach and if I must fight to break away its because of people like you who believe their decision or choice is binding on all men.
nwannem, when are you going to get it into your head that the war is over and everyone but a few of you, has moved on? Only a minute minority of you exiles are still acting as slaves. A vast majority of Igbo people here in Nigeria do not see themselves as slaves at all. They are excelling as businessmen, politicians, and professionals – they are building the new Nigeria with or without the likes of you people who are living in the past.
I guess Easterners in another weird way caused Boko Haram, since your logic is - whoever runs away must be guilty why not blame us for running away from Kano and Borno. Your next line is definitely this - "running to your homeland is not the problem, the problem is you broke away from the nation." My answer to that is - why not? Am I beholden to you till eternity? After all didnt the north, precisely Gowon and Murtala, say that the unity of the nation was no longer possible? SW can come out and say they fought so Nigeria could be one eventhough its still arguable, can you, a core northerner, say that in all honesty? You killed millions after you did a U-turn on Nigerian unity and now I am the one that caused the death of those millions. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds, sorry.
nwannem, I didn’t mean to rattle you to the point of turning you into an irrational analyst. The war was a sad part of our history, its time to move on. We have a nation with great potentials, all hands must be on deck. Forget the old politicians, like Gowon, Murtala, and others – they had their chances. The question is what are you going to do with yours? Are you going to be a whiner or a nation builder. Happy Easter to you too. A tuoro omara, o mara. |
Beaf: How come you demand that of GEJ, but you never accuse Yar Adua for not doing the same? Abi, did Yar Adua summon a meeting of all core-Northern political pretenders, or did he simply shoot the phucker called Yusuf? My friend, we are talking about the incompetence of our current President GEJ and not about Yar'Adua (RIP) who has passed on. Your usual trick of trying to change the issue does not work with me, as you know. If you wish shout Almajiri or core-North until your lose your voice, it will not make GEJ any more competent and it will still remain disgraceful that he had not brought the Sultan in for serious consultations up til now. |
Beaf: Are you saying that govt should approach the Sultan for dialogue or that boko haram should approach him? Asserting that GEJ should approach the Sultan to dialogue on behalf of boko haram actually means that the Sultan is either a member or is in personal contact with boko haram. One of the first actions GEJ should have taken was to round up ALL Northern leaders and brainstorm on how to effectively deal with the BH problem before it got out of hand. Obviously, that did not happen and no one found it urgent enough to to ask for the Sultan's help. Beaf stop pretending to be silly. |
