I need advice as I have almost gotten to the point of giving up on this Canadian PR.
I and my husband are in the pool with me as the main applicant. We currently have a score of 375.
But it seems like they won't be calling that any time soon at this rate. I have tried to look into most PNP routes and we av applied for mpnp and I have 609 ranking points, I have B.sc in computer science buh I don't have tech experience and my ielts score is L-7.0, R-6.0, W-6.5 and S-7.5
Is there anything I am over looking ?
Is there another route we can consider again for PR?
Please I need advice. My NOC is Administrative Assistant.
I have considered learning French but I think it would take me too long as I am overwhelmed with al lot of other activities at the moment.

Just got my TEF results. Thankfully, I made it. Thanks 79733139 for those Mathieu books. It came in handy when preparing for my EO.
Other resources I used:
1. French School TV (on YouTube) download and watch their live old videos. Listen to the remarks made after a mock situation of expression orale and expression ecrite.
2. Joined a french discord group where you meet and speak with other french learners and native speakers. Good for expression orale especially if you don't have any body to speak with.
3. Wrote at least 1 letter and fait divers every day for 3 months and ran them through Chat GPT for corrections. Chat GPT was my buddy. It came through for me in IELTS and now for TEF. Chat GPT helped me tremendously. I was always scoring between B1 and B2, (I even scored A2 once ) but I focused more on the corrections GPT gave and strengthened my weak points, till I finally hit C1 a day to the exam after 3 months. Eventually, I scored a C1 in the real exam.
4. Bunch of links and videos I got from YouTube/ Facebook.

In conclusion, one has to practice, practice and practice. 700k no be joke!

Previous application:- March 20, 2022. Withdrew on February 28, 2023 and reapplied on the same day. Refused June 9, 2023. Reason, lack of assets and origin of funds. Even though I included landed documents and the only deposits in my account was salary payments... I'm guessing they didn't do a thorough job.

Reapplied June 24, 2023. With same documents. No changes, except travel dates, and modification of SOP to draw their attention to my salary deposits.

Sent additional document (newborn children's birth certificate) on July 20, 2023. Acknowledged on tracker two days later.

7am, September 25, 2023, PPR sitting pretty. 😁

After so many email and webforms, IRcc nairobi just sent a message that my application is under 'ACTIVE review'. I guess it is better than the previous mail when they said your application is still ''in progress''

Please how much longer do you envision this wait?

I thinks it's CE for her. Yes, it's true you do need 450 and above. I tend to just remove the B2/C1 thing from my head and focus on the 450 and above score sheet.

Normally conference means you are not staying more than a week sef.. But many people have used the means to remain in canada.

Also you can remain in canada on a conference note.. Since you are being issued same visit visa.

Only at the port of entry is the conference defined and noted. But just be careful how you handle that part.

You can work with the visit visa only when a company hire you and agree to give you the lmia with your offer letter.

With this doc from your employer, you can switch from visit visa to work visa.

You can as well get jobs without a work permit, but it will only delay you getting the ones that can give you work permit.

So it's better to hustle for jobs that are willing to offer you lmia, so you can get a work permit.

I applied on 13th April, travelled to Helsinki for my biometrics on the 21st April.

I received an email last week requesting to send my passport. I applied via the new portal. Hope that helps

So i heard from a littlebird that Nairaland has been calling my name its 11.22pm here in Saskatoon @ -23⁰.

So concerning this issue by @green..... ( dint get the name) u can try to proceed with ur application spouse unaccompanied nd add ur spouse as soon as u get ur ppr... dat is d way to go.
Dat is what I have done what some others that I av assisted has done and it has worked.
So choose ur options wisely.

Hello, please I don't seem to know what to do on my form A. I was given a query to attach my degree which I have done and my account not up to 3 months. I called a contact in UBA and she told me not to worry that even if the account is less than 3 months, they would disburse provided CBN approves. But the problem is that I have uploaded my degree for days now but my application is still on adb_supervisor. I have sent an email to support@tradesystem.gov.ng. Don't know what to do now!!!

Please be patient they will debit you on Sunday night or on Monday.
My application is still in ADB REVIEWER and I have been debited and even gotten my telex. Sometimes the stage doesnt change meanwhile they have even started working on your application. Uba remains the fastest bank to use to initiate a Form A application please make sure you choose UBA MARINA branch.

Don’t ever make mistake of using Polaris bank for your form A application because it will take over a month. I used POLARIS before but I had to change it because it was over a month already and then I changed to Uba which I got feedback from them within a week (the application was recommended for rejection) I had to cancel the application and initiated a new one. For the new one, everything was processed in a Day. Like I said earlier I got my telex that same day but still yet my application is still showing ADB REVIEWER. Please be patience
