WeAreDLucky1s: I hope you're asking to know sha, but even if you're not, I wish you'll find this enlightening for other areas of life. While for those who may be considering their options;
LOOKING AT THE BIGGER PICTURE
Options after submission; - For those who love business/money/opportunities - You can always sell ALMOST ANYTHING today without hassle - trade online; second-hand value would NEVER be less than 5k. Meaning you satisfied your purpose yet made some money as a return - How about that? ...we need to start looking ahead. - For those who love to read - Now you can print all those "not so needed but, I wish I can have it in paper form" kind of document. If you know you know. (apologies to the environmentalist amidst us - don't worry your forests won't disappear in the next Millenium, research says) - Lastly, if later the printer all of a sudden becomes a burden, try doing some charity and see if you won't see anyone who will be willing to gracefully receive it in this forum, at the least. - should you not find after three days, please PM me.
This is me saying YOUR CHOICES ARE YOURS, LIKEWISE YOUR OPINION, but if you can, always look outward for the greater picture! Opportunities abound in our everyday life but, we mostly wouldn't see them because of our opinion/choices.
I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. True talk Sir... Abeg you fit sell you own for 4k for me? |

WeAreDLucky1s: Yes!
Many had used it and gave some positive review on both of the options, however I wouldn't advice any.
Firstly, the options of using app/phone produces snapshot that are somewhat unclear as would be if the scanned documents were to be done on a proper scanner - you can agree with me on this.
Also, the use of cybercafe would have been ok, but this option lacks important factors such as Convenience, Confidentiality of your documents and, above all, it is costly as time goes on - This you'll find out later.
Finally, my recommendation is for you to consider having the benefits of both - Purchase a low end, yet efficient 3-in-1 printer. Well, as said earlier, a low price that is just about the amount, plus a little more if you'll be printing, scanning at the shop. And, this will give you a clean, clear and stressless means of having your documents presentable.
Now the question is which printer can you get and where. I would suggest you do some Google search for online shops, get the price and head to local shops to buy. But, if you don't like stress, simply purchase online - what I did.
I got this fantastic printer off jumia, could be any online store just that they could deliver in 48hrs for the printer of choice and I was ok with the price. So ensure you do your proper window shopping. So, I got this all in one printer for around 13k, that can scan, print and photo copy, even print passport! And, guess what...it's has WiFi meaning I do all functions from my phone.
I think you should consider it; [copy-paste this on google>>> "pixma-ts3140" to view the printer. Please note I do not work for the seller nor the manufacturer and, neither do I earn a living from advertising the product. Recommendations are purely from my own experience. I am currently Post-ITA and, that is the option I am using for all my canny waka.
I hope this has been helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. After submission nko ? The printer will be of no use. |

But I tried entering the pool with LRSW 6.5,6.5,7.5 and 7 but it didnt go through. Was told I did not meet up with the eligibility Criteria, kindly assist |

[quote author=Liispa post=84961612]Oh wow that's a long time. I'm thinking its either an oversight, or the transcripts were not sent with WES requirements. You should contact WES nonetheless, so they tell you themselves. I'll advise that you call instead of sending a message on their site, its faster that way.[/qu0ote]
Thanks Ma'am....was considering they didn't update it b/c the 2nd transcript has not been sent to them. I will still put up a call tho.

Jaybye: Sir/Ma, This issue of gift deed has been overemphasized here. If I may ask your opinion; don't you think it's neater and more straightforward to have that aunt transfer that money to her cousin (your mum that is) who would ultimately give you her son/daughter as a gift? I think that way, you won't have to worry about an over-zealous VO requesting you to start proving your relationship with a so-named aunt. I think you can do without an additional stress to the ones inherent in this journey biko!
Well explained Sir, It's the best way. Cheers
And there's no rule that says you can't combine gifts as long as the POF is complete and in your account or that of your spouse, if any, backed up by their respective deeds. You can go ahead as long as you won't start worrying that if you had known you should have had it this way or better still, that way. The applicant always has to take responsibility for their final action. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Nedu2144(m): 4:26pm On Dec 15, 2019 |
Jaybye: Sir, when it's Gift Deed, the time it came in does not matter. Just ensure it's coming from someone whose relationship with you can not be easily questioned by your eventual case officer. Best options include your dad, mum, and siblings or those of your spouse, if you're married. I'm not saying one can't get from cousins or friends, but I'll discourage anything that will easily link one and village people yet again.. And of course, you do not want any cause for worry post-ITA should your application/PPR linger far too long. Sir what if you're getting it from an Aunt (cousin to mum) to be precise? Is there any proof you will need to show? Also can you combine two deed gifts (probably from Brother and an Aunt) as described above. |

Queencyco: It's PPR guys....
Semi Long post alert.
*MY PPR STORY*
*Decision to travel* : Hubby always had the dream and I bought it after we got married. Finally decided to begin the EE journey officially in January 2019.
IELTS (1st and Only Attempt): February 19, 2019. Got 9,8.5,8,7 in R,L,S,W. I practised with the BC test taker materials for reading, ieltsbuddy for listening. I didn't practice speaking and writing but the grace of God saw me through. Hubby's IELTS: Band 6
ECA: ICES for hubby and me. ICES miraculously evaluated my UNIPORT degree even after they had written me to say they won't.
*EE profile created* : 18th June (CRS - 467) I have an MSc, less than 30 years and married with more than 3 years work experience.
*Timeline* *ITA* : 26th June *AOR* : 10, July, 2019 *Biometrics/Medicals passed* : 2, Aug,2019 *ADR* : Aug, 2nd. I was asked to rescan my international passport. I later realised that the one I uploaded initially had some parts cut off (you can't be too careful with your application) *1st Ghost update* : 3rd August: ADR changed to- we are reviewing the additional documents you submitted. *Silence* .... *2nd Ghost update* : 3rd Dec, 2019 - nothing changed *3rd Ghost update* : 4th Dec, 2019 - ADR changed to NA *PPR* : *Travel history* : PA-None. Spouse visited Ghana twice. VO: Ottawa
*Documents Uploaded* Education: ielts results, university degree certificates, ECA reports.
Marriage: Marriage certificates (church and court).
Proof of name change: newspaper advert, court affidavit.
Employment: reference letters in IRCC format, 6 months bank statements for two of my employments, and pay slips for one employment that I was paid in cash.
*POF* : 6 months treasury bill. Hubby transferred the money to my account and I bought the TB. So, I uploaded my TB certificate, hubby's account statement showing the transfer only, reference letters from the three banks I bank with and LOE.
Note: Let a second eye go through your application before you submit. You can't be too careful.
My application journey was powdered by grace, I literally saw the help of God at every stage.
If God has said it, it will surely come to pass. It can only be delayed for a while. I pray that everyone believing God in this journey receives His favour in Jesus Name. Congrats dear. Pls ieltsbuddy has only 5 test practices same as ielts buddy. Could you give me link to them if they're more? |

CanadianBae: Guys!!!!! I'm screaming!!!! It's not PPR, it's IELTS!! I am free from IELTS shackles, this is my fifth and last attempt. LONG READ ALERT!!
First attempt (BC): LWRS- 7.5, 6.5, 6, 7 I didn't study because I told myself I'm a native speaker and still not that deep but IELTS had to show me that it's deeper than I thought.
Second attempt (BC): LWRS - 8,6.5,7,7 I was certain I did well in my writing, so I asked for remark for writing and speaking because I was trying to do mama ijebu as per incase they don't increase the writing module, atleast they should increase speaking so that I can have my refund. Sadly, only speaking was upgraded but I was filled regret that I could have gotten an upgrade if I only asked for writing but we move!
Third attempt (BC): LWRS - 8,6.5,6,7 I'm certain my village people came with to the exam hall because I don't how will explain the mistakes I made. Instead of writing True/False/Not given I wrote T/F/NG, I realised this when I was already done. As for the writing, I don't even know what to say.
Fourth attempt (MOD): LWRS -9,7,6.5,7.5 (March 2019) See ehn, at the point of cried when I saw this result because I know I gave in best. I finally passed the almighty WRITING but reading had refused to let me go. Y'all I was tired and the verge of giving up . I just kept the whole thing on hold on and decided to focus on other things.
Fifth attempt (MOD): Trust Nigeria to help you do factory setting on your thought process. After trekking daily for 30 minutes to get a bike to work coupled with traffic and dust, I told myself I need to revise the travelling vision board. So I registered to write on 23rd November 2019 and I just saw my result LWRS- 9,8,7.5,8. I have checked the results countless times and even this screenshot in case I see otherwise on the hard copy. I will just change it for them!!!
My CRS score is 478!!!!
I'm no IELTS expert, mean I wrote 5 times to get my desired score but these are the materials I used to study. IELTSbuddy and Jay for speaking, IELTSbuddy, Liz and Ieltsonline for listening writing and reading. For the writing I didn't practice (I mean literally writing essays) I just read tips, read sample essays to get a feel on how to answer.
Now onto the next phase. Please ignore and grammatical and typo errors, I can't be bother to re-read. Common I just passed my IELTS. Lol Congrats bro. Go get the ITA |

Good morning House,
I have question which has been addressed here but I have a little different case scenario from the already answered question.
1. I work for Company A, the A organized the interview and everything. We discussed the salary and all. But while getting my appointment letter, I noticed that they contracted me to Company B(to avoid paying benefits). Company B doesn't know much about me except that they pay my Salary. So how can i structure my Reference letter to capture the necessary things (b/c of the pay slip(B) and also my online LinkedIn profile is showing company (A)?
2. My pay slip amount is showing the salary amount plus overtime payment. How would the additional overtime pay be represented in the reference letter?
3. I am expecting payment increase between this dec and Jan. Should the new increment be stated or should I stick with old one. Abi na the two? PS: I will not have enough Evidence(pay slip) for new amount, also they(CIC) might want recent pay slip. I dey confuse biko nu. Please help

I successfully did that for my spouse recently.
