Please what documents did you include in the email you sent to them? I applied for my parents in March.

Send a message to that email address and they will reply you an automated message telling you what the content of your message should include as well as supporting documents

Hi everybody, I want to apply for Canada visit visa for my mom. I intend to use online route!
Question 1: how many forms do I need to fill, can some please list the types of forms I need to fill?
Question 2: Do I need to upload or attached the passport photograph to the application form?

Thanks all
The forms you need are online immediately you start the process you can see the forms they are asking you to fill. Mine was 2 the application form and family declaration form. Then I had a schedule A form which was optional
You need to attach your passport photograph with the required specifications in a section while filling up your application.
I would say start the process and the rest is explanatory

Purpose of Travel is a letter to the Canadian Immigration where you explain when you will be landing approximately, your departure from Canada after your visit, where you will be staying i.e. any friends, relatives or a hotel, what all places are you planning to visit. This also contains what you are doing in your country of origin i.e. are you working or having a business and need to provide adequate proofs for them to verify. You also need to declare that you will be taking care of your own expense. The purpose of this letter is to show that your intention is not about staying in Canada. You have to demonstrate that you have strong family ties, property, work - things for which you will return home. You’ll have to convince the CIC officer that you are not a potential immigrant. If it is about sightseeing, then it would be better if you provide details of the spots you plan to visit. For example, describe the exact itinerary, the booking information (address) of the hotels or places you are going to stay ,plan where to visit ,time, route with cost then You have to state, why is the visit so important, and why now.all in a good written format .

in evaluating your visa application it not about the huge money on account alone , i will suggest you order you gcms note ,so you can see the visa officer comment about your application
3.3 as all your savings not the money you want to spend in canada. If I declare 10m and am asked in my form how much I want to use for my trip and I put 3.3m that's different. Just saying if you have only 3.3m no asset no form of receiving more money like a job or business proof i just think it shows not enough ties. My two cent

My timeline
Online 16/11/19
Biometric 20/11/19
Biometric validation 14/02/2020.
Final decision 14/02/2020.

Documents submitted
Stamp of travelled to Saudi Arabia once.
Stamp travelled to united kingdom three different times
My children birth certificate
My marriage certificate
Property documents
Account statement 6 months 3.3m balance
Family pictures
Pay slip 6 months
Letter of employment
Leave letter approval and some documents
Hotel booking
Flight booking
Application form
My academic results and NYSC certificate
Share statement
My wife passport page
Etc
For me I think account balance of 3.3m is not sufficient cause they might feel that's all your savings and definitely not ready to spend half to just travel to celebrate your 50th birthday

Please who has done any of these courses and which of them do you think pays more in Canada? And does it make sense for PR holders to get student loans to pursue full time courses or diploma courses as the case may be. Thanks
Well I think CDI college is very expensive cos it is a private university and it is not fully recognized by industries . You can take out time to read their reviews online. Schools like bow valley, SAIT and university of Calgary for me should be better considered.

Lol. I swear.
@Dame91 also there is a six months clause for birthing in Alberta. You can't just birth and go. You live for 6months before or after the birth.
In addition if you ve not registered for health card and you work in to give birth. You will be billed for every health services rendered

As long as you are a landed immigrant getting a doctor is not a problem at all but the only thing is that they would prefer having you around for a while so they can have proper monitoring

Good morning everyone,

I hope this meets you well.

Please i need detailed advice on what steps to take.
our PPR recently came (my husband and I) and I am pregnant now (19 weeks). we intend to come to Canada to do short landing first in September. we will be landing in Calgary and by then i'll be 34 weeks. I heard its difficult booking Doctors in Canada, how true is that? plus is it possible for me to book a Doctor/ make appointments while i am still in Nigeria. Basically, i want to know what steps to take while preparing to travel to avoid any hassle. sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your time. Cheers!
Well didn't have a problem booking for a doctor when I landed and I landed pregnant almost same time. You need to first get registered with a family doctor which is not hard to get I could recommend one for you. But you need your health card to get booked in by your family doctor which you get upon landing . Your family doctor then goes ahead to get you an obstetrician which you will be seeing till you give birth and probably birth your baby . Wasn't so hard anyways I will say land first then you take care of the remaining things.

Finally landed 2 weeks ago as a single man. Passed through Immigration and customs without no problem in MMIA. Both Luggage were over 23 kg while carry on was over 7 kg. The guys at Ethiopian airline stand allowed me to add more weight to the carry on to make it 12kg while the luggages were left at 25kg each. Trip to Adisabba was long, and then Dublin and then Toronto. Couldn't eat the food served in the plane, only ate the bread and Red wine. Landed on Saturday, went through immigration and customs in Toronto without any problem and then the final leg of the journey to Calgary. I am currently staying with a friend who is married. I have done my SIN, Health Card, bought a sim, visited 2 immigration services (CCIS and Mustard seed ministry) in downtown. I was able to get a reduced bus pass for the month of June and paid $37.5 instead of $104 or so. If you are less than 30yrs, You can visit CCIS, they have a 2 weeks employment training. I met a Nigerian there and he told me about the training and also showed me his check . If you attend it without missing a class , they will pay you $900. I couldn't do it cos I am over that age. I have also learnt the bus and train route system after downloading the Calgary transit app. I am also currently studying for the Alberta driver's license exam. Both fields that I have experience in (Geoscience & Real estate )are licensed here, so I am currently looking for a job while I prepare to do a 2 yrs course in SAIT. Please kindly link me up if you have any. Thanks
Was wondering what course you intend taking in sait

[quote author=snoop4dem post=74824584]Hi Guys,

I dont think you can add your spouse without getting an adr for your spouse. An ADR is normally sent to include all the docs they need and this docs are uploaded in your cic account and not sent via your personal mail. After uploading spouse docs then a UCI no is generated for your spouse
You have to raise a CSE and if you know your visa office send them a mail too. You can also give them a call . Continue sending a reminders till you get a response. I had to send like 2 reminders during my time

Please can you guide me on getting a permanent accommodation. What to consider and look out for? And the possibility of getting a good place wirhout credit rating. I stay at calgary

Yes it is, we booked airbnb for a month before finally deciding where to live. It really helped a lot as we got to know the city before committing to signing a year rental lease. I have written about things to consider and places to look when choosing temporary accommodation on my blog: https://9jaincanada.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-finding-the-perfect-temporary-accommodation. i hope this helps. vcole:
have you checked rentfaster.ca and kijiji.ca? Those are the go to sites for accomodation in Calgary. Contact landlords and schedule viewings. There aren't a lotta places available this time of year as most leases expire in spring but if you keep searching you'll find. Also consider being willing to offer paying a couple of months' rent in advance for landlords who may be skeptical about taking on new immigrants as tenants.
Thanks a lot for the detailed reply

Good evening everyone.

Been a silent reader here. I need your help and advice.

Please anyone in calgary, that know about child birth and all.

Or any preggy mums and expectant dad here that knows about how it's been done. Should please put me through.

Would be landing first week in sept with my family. Just want to have an an idea how it's been done and to expect.

Lastly, is child delivery free as a PR?

Thanks
Quite easy, firstly get your SIN then open an account with a bank cause you need it as proof of address to get your health insurance card. Delivery is totally free as long as you remain in Alberta for the next 6months or so. Then I got my family doctor who recommended a gynecologist for me and who ever you get as your doctor will determine which hospital you actually be having your baby.
You be asked to go for ultrascans and other blood test and results sent to your doctor. From then your doctor will arrange visits it all depends on your due date.
