Romance / Re: Disadvantages Of Being Handsome: by NellyGhenghen(m): 4:46pm On Sep 17, 2014
This is totally true, the gay part, older women and girls you like not taking you seriously, especially the young lads. Every girl wants to flirt with a "fine boy" but most of em hesitate to get crious. We have a special zone called "They want you, but can't face the reality of having you" zone, cos they know lots of other girls are attracted to you and conclude you are just going to take them on a joli ride. In addition, we get constant hate n jealousy for nothing, jealous mates calling us gay, and some ugly girls giving us random dirty looks for absolutely no reason. And girls tend to play more games when the guy in question is handsome, cos they believe you think you can get any girl you want hence they dont want to be "one of those easy girls". I even feel more sorry for the handsome shy guys cos if you dont speak to anyone, no1 would speak to you, cos you are already prejudged as stuck up/full of yourself. We are human aswell tho undecided

Sports / Re: Why Coaches Fear Mikel – Siasia by NellyGhenghen(m): 4:02pm On Sep 17, 2014
surawilly: Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has warned that anyone who wishes to talk to Mikel Obi to raise his game, should equally be ready to take a slagging from the Chelsea star.

Mikel has come under intense criticisms following his recent sluggish displays for the Super Eagles.

And Siasia, who lined up the midfielder for the 2005 FIFA U20 World Cup and then dropped him for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, said that Mikel does not welcome criticisms.

“Someone would have to talk to him. But to talk to Mikel, you have to be ready for your own beating,” Siasia told Africanfootball.com.

This further confirms the awesome player-power the Chelsea star wields in the Super Eagles.

Siasia said that it will be up to Mikel to take the responsibility to step up his game.

“From what we have seen and what people are talking about, they don’t think he is giving his best. But he should be able to criticise himself,” argued the coach.

“He should do a self-critique. If he believes he is not doing well, he has to try and up his game.

Mikel Obi
“He has been watching the games from the World Cup, if he thinks he is not doing well, why is he not scoring, he has to be able to look at those videos and see the areas he needs to improve on.

“Nobody has to tell him. He is a professional. So, I am not going to criticise him. He has done well for this country but if he is not doing well like he used to, then something has to be done.”

Siasia equally conceded he is “confused” about whether the best position for the player is as a defensive or attacking midfielder.

“I am actually confused on that one, I don’t know anymore,” he admitted.

“As a defensive midfield player, it doesn’t mean you should not go forward or try to take some shots at goal. (Nemanja) Matic is doing it, Ramires is doing it, so how come Mikel is not doing it? Why can’t he cover the box-to-box play. If you don’t get into the box, you can never shoot at goal. So, that is his problem.”

What is this rubbish article? Are u sure siasia said this? It doesn't make any sense to me. The coach is in charge of the team hence can criticize/drop any player he wants. What does he mean by," you will get your own beating" :-/ sounds like something a junior high student will say.

Romance / Re: Why Do Girls Change So Drastically When They Gain Admission? (calls For Concern) by NellyGhenghen(m): 12:17am On Sep 16, 2014
Such is life, as humans grow, we expect people to grow with us. Just like when a new OS comes out you have to upgrade, and if you have an old smartphone thats incompatible with the OS, you throw it away and buy a newer version, you didnt drop the old phone cos you hated it, you dropped it cos it refused to upgrade, thats typical human behaviour.

Someone said guys are still good even after they get into uni and jaaggzz, except you gay, the pressure you put on your fellow man isn't the same pressure you put on a girl u like. Do you want to talk to you fellow man althrough the night? Do you want to exchange texts and be in the know on you fellow mans whereabouts everyday of the week?

Two problems with many of you lads is, first you remain in the same position she left you at whilst she is moving forward. Two, neediness! She just got into a new world she z curious exploring everything, the last thing she needs is one guy from the area blowing her phone, she is still in that state of "uni-craze" and is distracted (which is normal human behaviour) doing this at this time will help her realise quick how much of a"wastemann" you are. Give her air atleast for the first year, have fun and upgrade ur life. You dont have to be in the uni to upgrade yourself! Let her see you are advancing, meet new people keep your options open whilst holding her close, post pictures, iswear she ll be the one contacting you wondering why you are not contacting her as often. Even at that be abit scarce, demand is high for scarce products, she has the advantage and you have to make yourself and time seem valuable, that's the only way to hold her respect. And if she still ignores you allow it, and pick one out of the options you left open, at least you left with your balls and self esteem intact. And you won't come crying and venting anger towards all females on nairaland forum. Life's a game and its not fair, you gotta play it like that, its already programmed to be that way and no amount of venting would change that. My 20 cents

Some people would rather commit their time and energy into other important things like getting a life? First things first, there is time for everything. Its not that we dont like the idea of being in one, but certain people arent pressed about it, these are the confident people who know what they want and dont forcefully need a person of the opppsite sex to make them feel better with themselves.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Ghana Economy Is A Mess!!!! by NellyGhenghen(m): 2:51am On Sep 06, 2014
All this hate/competition between black brothers is the reason the African continent is the shithole it is today, and the laughing stock of the international community undecided. Tell me how these insults would help save Ghana's sinking economy, or solve the numerous problems Naija has ? You guys have even derailed from the issue at hand and turned this into personal beef and battle for superiority. Africa as a whole is a shithole because of this barbaric uncooperative attitude.

I'm particularly mad at the Ghanaians. What's with this hate towards Nigeria. Nigeria has its problems, but its buoyant economy is one thing it can boast of, making it a potential source of help! Face it, your economy is sinking, you the people are the ones who are going to suffer it! Its just like a drowning man refusing a life jacket from his neighbour because he doesn't want him to take credit for saving his life. Would you rather get help with lots of ridiculous conditions from the west than from your own ECOWAS brother? What's the point of ECOWAS then? Is your ego more important to you than the future of your country? And a thread with this type of topic "Ghana economy is a mess" which depicts mockery of a brother nation in distress shouldn't make front page! Naira land should promote peace, unity n progress amongst west African nations not encourage feud and banter! This thread should have been created to rub minds and offer solutions, sadly that's not the message the topic sends across.

What is all this garbage? undecided last time i checked, Nollywood movies were the most viewed movies in Africa, In different languages, some even go to the extent of making funnY subtitles just to understand our movies. From the west to the east to the south, yes even the bitter anti-nigerian ungrateful south africans watch our movies, and even abroad everyone knows mr ibu, osuofia, aki and paw paw, genevieve etc how many south african movie actors do we know? Nigeria is the home of African entertainment AND the whiteman bottom licking south Africans are not content, so what did you expect from A South African movie festival hosted on South African soil? mtchee proper garbage! on the next topic. undecided And OP or whoever wrote this article, you deserve to have your passport ceased! sitting there like a box of fufu, listening to garbage from south africans and coming to tell us rubbish, you might aswell move there. Nollywood movies are the best in Africa thumbs to Naija and Ghana.
