owobokiri: We don't need a "strong naira" per say, Nigeria's economy isn't ready for that, we don't need a weak naira either that's bad for import. Let it at least go back to the former exchange rate of NGN150/USD |

Akon basically spends more time in Africa, Naija especially than he does in the US these days. He might as well get Nigerian nationality lol. South African rapper Aka as well visited Naija for the first time a while ago and here has basically become his second home, Ex big brother house mate Vimbai included alongside a bunch of others now grace our movies and Tv shows. Naija Is the place to be & will easily become the USA of Africa once we put a functional society in place, land of opportunity where anyone from anywhere is welcome, at ease and has an equal opportunity with Nigerian Citizens to climb up the social ladder most times foreigners even have better opportunities. Nigerians are one of the most exposed, creative and educated people in the world even more exposed than citizens of some of the most advanced countries, you won't know till you travel. African music is internationally recognized today because of Nigerians. You don't know how fortunate you are to be Nigerian, lets stop whinning about our problems for a minute and count our blessings whilst praying that our beloved country would be able to reach her maximum potential. |

lepasharon: Every Nigerian can speak atleast a bit of english, but alot of Nigerians can't express themselves fluently in english as they can in their native Language. An officer needs to understand clearly what you have to say to him. 1 Like |

What's the big deal? Why do the simplest things tickle Nigerians? Its obviously simply because of the significant Yoruba population in London nothing else. The Officers need to be able to communicate in a case where they run into an immigrant who is not fluent in English, simple. 1 Like |

Teamsafecozzy: Forget endorsements, they only get about 30% of the sum in cash and the rest in perks. These Naija singers are not that rich. The blown ones have access to loans and are often given cool gadgets, wears , cars etc by companies looking to promote their products either free of charge, at a good price or with flexible payment plans. That's the only advantage they have. Even the money they make per show has to be shared amongst so many people in their entourage hence only the really blown ones who get called for loads and loads of shows make reasonable amounts that's why you see lots of guys leaving record labels immediately they think they r blown. |

Hello house, For all those studying in South Africa, i'll like to know how much it ll cost on the average to pursue undergraduate studies in SA (Medicine) from first year and the cheapest universities for international students. Done some research on my own, but its not too clear to me. Currently, considering university of pretoria and Nelson Mandela metropolitan university, whilst university of pretoria isn't so clear about international fees on their website, NMMU from what ive seen so far has lots of miscellaneous fees which when added up is an outrageous sum, though i'm not sure if I have to pay all those fees. I'd appreciate if someone could shed more light. Thanks |

I'll like information on how, when, and where to apply. Thanks alot |

LarrySun: What are you saying? Nigeria is the US of Africa if you ask me in the sense that it is a place where anyone can come in and blend in. In a country with over 500 languages and 300 tribes, no one would care to discriminate or question you for your ethnicity, colour or immigration status, Nigerians even prefer foreigners to their own people (especially the educated ones) n these people have equal or better chances of making it here than Nigerian citizens. Nigerians are one of if not the warmest, happiest, smartest and most talented group of people on earth and despite her numerous problems and corruption riddled government still emerged Africa's biggest economy. Nigeria is headlining the African movie industry and taking the African music industry to astonishing heights. All we need is organisation and a good government and you ll see how great Nigeria will become. The west knows this, thats why they continue to demonize Nigeria in the media and encourage corruption disguised as foreign aid. |
