It's always good to pray for longlife. Nobody knows when the time shall come. As I'm typing this I'm thinking about it but with OBJ's recent activity in politics,I dont think he's thinking in that direction. If we live every second of our life as though it's the last,we'd behave better. |
Mr. Prophet, please there are so many souls to be won for Jesus and that should preoccuppy your mind. Leave politics to the politicians and face your calling. |
Well said and what happened after the 48hrs ultimatum? They should take it easy.I see it as an empty threat. No more, no less. dason4life: |
Even so, associates of President Jonathan said he continued to work over the last few weeks for Mr. Jonathan’s reelection, with one source saying he was devastated when his principal lost the presidential polls. If the reason that hastened his death was the above, then he messed up because Uncle Jonathan we lose election dey Kampala. RIP |
Only death to them that torment and loot our treasury is the solution to our surviver as a nation. |
The moment APC allows individual interest above the change they clamour, then they shall surely go PDP's way. Since our votes seem to matter now, after 4 years, we would decide again ![]() |
Fayose looking likely to set a record of being the first governor to be impeached twice. When next he gets a political post, he would have known that his 'orubebeic' attitude would only get him impeached and some 'jegamol' tablets is a cure |
I'm sure Mr. Mark would have jumped camp if he was not sure of winning the last NASS election on PDP's platform.Politicians would never say what they mean and will never mean what they say. It's all about their interest. No more, no less! |
If for anything, this is the time for Lagos to feel the federal presence. For that reason,APC should be voted in. |
While we know the names of those who helped Mr. President conceded defeat, the report refused to name the 'hawks' who wanted to cause havoc and that's the 'koko'. Just as we didn't know the cabals of the subsidy palaver, we might never get to know the hawks trying to protect their own interests. |
Religion isn't a do-or die affair. Live and lets live.I dont think that's asking too much. |

He who Jah has blessed,no man can curse.I guess Jah has cursed this dude. |
If Kanye had done this in the other faith, he would have been beheaded. Very apalling! |
Statements are like eggs, once said, it's broken and that is it. Just like Kunle, Oba of Lagos through one of his aides should apologise. For the APC, the statement made by the Oba might hunt them on Saturday. Enough side! |
I know you are one of those that condemned the Oba for his statement which I support but look at your own unfriendly submission. Ladybluecash: |
At times, assumption could be suicidal. I'm not Igbo. themodernman: |
There's no ending to the rivalry between yorubas and Igbos.Funny enough,Igbos still prefer yorubas to the Hausas and the Hausas prefer yorubas to the Igbos. The question is, which ethnic group does the yorubas prefer? Bigotry divides us and shouldn't be tolerated. Just like any movie producer, Kunle invest heavily in movie production and his pained seeing his hard-earned job being sold like agege-bread.This matter needs urgent attention. |
Unfortunately, only saviour can achieve these in 4yrs. Hope his change wont be as slow as a snail? hopilo: |
'Stealing isn't corruption' was one of the numerous reasons why people got angry with Jonathan. As for the General, enough of talking as starting from May 29, we'd examine if your word match action. |
Calling for change is easy but achieving it is the main challenge. |
Many failed prophesies have made many lost interest in it. Instead of pastors heating up the polity with such fearful revelations, they could just come together like we have CAN and PFN and pray to avert such revelations. Unfortunately, CAN under Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor's watch has been more political than religious.CAN needs to focus on Jesus and do what Jesus would do in any situation and not what its leaders feel right. Pastors should be more concerned about winning souls for Jesus than seeking relevance and popularity via politics. Prophesies or not, darkness can never overcome light and GOD is watching. Enough said! |
Buhari said he would draw a line concerning corruption when he starts his government. I could be wrong but I think what he meant was that all corrupt officials both past and present would be pardoned. If they will be part of his government, they would have to declare their assets and stay free from corruption or face the full wrath of the law. How would a corrupt official be sincere enough to declare all his loots publicly without the masses calling for his head? Imagine Diezani Madueke wanting to be part of Buhari's government and being asked to declare her assets! Buhari is got a lot of check and balancing to do. |
lekkie073:Have you bought it at 50naira recently? When it is even available at Filling Station, they dont sell at 50naira. |
You are foolish for calling another tribe useless. It shows your level of maturity for your inability to handle an obvious truth. By the way, I'm not from SS or SE. adeymoj: |
Those were days I'd sit in the comfort of my room, leg crossed, chilling with friends and with good passes, scintilating dribbling skills and highly penetrating and purposeful football,my darling Eagles would send teams to the cleaners.I had confidence and if they'd lose,it'll be a gallant loss. ini4brandon: |
Amokachi a.k.a Da Bull's goal against Bulgaria at USA 1994. Aside, Kanu's 'wicked' goal against Brazil at the Olympics in 1996,USA 1994 Eagles squad scored the best goals in recent times.I remember Finidi's goal against Greece where he celebrated his television goal with a doggy style. Another one was Siasia goal against the Maradona-led Argentine team. That was when men had talents and were really playing good football but now, we have boys who lacked talent and the desire to play for Nigeria. I missed Eagles of old. |
Only an individual that stayed in the north and knows these people will know how desperate an average northerner is when it comes to power. Equalizer: |
For the next 4years,Igbos would just be a spectator in the Nigerian politics. This is the result you get for playing politics like running a personal business. In running a personal business, you take the decisions and fund the business but politics involves embracing everybody irrespective of tribe, party and religion. I hope they learn and return even better in 2019. |
Well said. omenka: |
