junkerhill: just tell them u want to swear an affidavit for ur age and that u will be taking it to NPC to get ur birth cert. They know which format to use. Your bargainin power depends on how much they will collect from you. Normally, affidavit shouldn't be more than #100, but they won't take that from you. Here, in anambra state, they do collect frm #700-#500.

Tiwanna: why not go to npc office give them 3500 (2500 4 d npc cert, 1000 4 the affidavit) and your passport let them do it for u? cuz when i did mine they asked me if i will go to court and swear the affidavit myself? and i told them i have one(age declaration) with me, and they told me the one i have is not the format they used.

Gentiger: There's no fixed price for medicals. Just hold N30k. Some pay far less than this amount and some more. Factors which determine how much you pay include:

1. Your medical history
2. Your age
3. Answers given in response to the doctors questions.

You won't pay more than N29500 at the Children Practice Ikoyi notwitgstanding. Go with 2 passport photos, your international passport and a duplicate copy of it's data page.

akshow77: I just want to thank The Lord for accomplishing the great work he started.I landed safe and sound yesterday in New York JFK airport around 5pm New York time.I commenced the journey by getting to the airport on the evening of the 8th of January since my check-in was scheduled for 3am of the following morning.I was surprised to meet some of my co-travelers for the flight sleeping on the bare floor of MMA! The flight took off as scheduled and landed after 4hours in Casablanca. There was a stopover of 2 hours before we took a connecting flight to New York.The flight was unnecessarily delayed for close to an hour because of lot of people connecting the same flight.After about 8hours in the air we landed in New York JFK.After waiting for almost 2hours at the customs ,I was finally ushered into the United States officially.One important thing I noticed at customs is that there are several DV winners from the Francophone countries. A friend of my brother was already waiting for me at the arrival,he then led me through the airport train to New York subway to connect to Manhattan.From here,I boarded a bus for a 3 hour trip to Binghamton.From here my brother picked me up for a trip of almost 45minutes to Elmira.I will like to use this medium to thank all contributors on this forum.For all waiting to be current and those waiting for their interview,I pray for the divine favor of God on you.God bless America!

@nero xp,am talking frm experience and by GOD grace i ll be travelling to Atlanta nxt month wth my wife,we used normal pics for intl passport,police character cos we took excess 2 by 2 when we submitted our forms to kcc and dnt want it to waste dt was why we used dt 4 medical bt sm other pple stil use normal pix for medical.my dear brother if u re nt comfortable wth my idea pls follow ur heart,2 by 2 in nt too expensive u can use it 4 all.tanx

Saakeem if u ask me,i wuld say is due 2 de fact dat ur wife didn't provide her 1st result nd also she didn't show de C.0 ur weddin pics,nd ur family pics.Even wen she askd if any member of ur family was wit any of ur pics,ur wife stil replied No.Weddin nd Family pics re very importnt 4 couples durin interviews nd i advice strongly 4 couples nt 2 leave any material fact nd pics of any kind while kumin 4 interviews.success 2 us all durin our interviews in JESUS NAME,AMEN.

@ Nero, you may use the same passport for all these, but snap new ones for interview proper. I think Gentiger has given u ans on d TP for local runnings already. One moment, I believe u r still waiting for ur 2NL; why d haste? We have learnt from this forum that it's best u do ur medicals 1 - 2 wks before interview. Best of luck!

ienny: This is my story... myself,wifey and daughter applied for dv 2013 on the 1st of nov.2011. We had our daughter jan.2011 and my wife was again 8 months pregnant at the time we applied. The boy eventually came around dec.2011 which boils down to the fact that we had 2 babies in a single callender year. To the glory of God we got to know we won mid month of may 2012. We included the boy in the form we sent to KCC not minding whether or not we will be schrewed by CO to defend that the boy is actually ours as he was not included in the initial application or that the CO might find it a little difficult to believe that we actaully had 2 kids in a single calender year.Our interview was schedule for 7a.m jan 4.We did all the security checks, paid for 4 of us and all our documents were collected. Trust me i follow this thread on per second basis, so all our docs were intact and well arranged. Meanwhile my kids were playing all about in the hall such that they were noticed by all fellow 'interviewees' . We expected to be interviewed like around 10a.m cos so many people were ahead of us only for us to see our tag number flashing on window 13(the black american angel).The white lady had been engaging a woman with 2kids before we realised we the next to be interviewed.We quickly jumped up went straight to the black angel, at that time i knew is a done deal already based on the testimonies i have heard about her.My confidence was over doubled and i felt so relief as she engaged us on the below
