Did the CO ask u 2 provide affedavit of support or any letter frm ur host in U.S?

Gentiger: You don't need newspaper publication to correct that. Get an affidavit. Do not present it until it becomes an issue. You only need newspaper publication if you are changing a name, introducing a new name or correcting a serious defect in your name. An omission of a letter from your name is no serious defect. It's a typographic error.

@ Gentiger there was an ommision of a letter word lyk dis--NWOGBO instead of NWAOGBO--as u can see..'A' letter was ommited nd dis error is only in my school leavin testimonial,while evry of my documents has de correct spellin...I hav swore an affedavit of fact regardin de omission in a High court.my only worry nw is am I good to go 4 my interview wit only de affedavit or I shuld also publish in de newspaper,is de publication necessary in my own case?

Hov63: hello house to God be all da glory.I had my interview in Ghana on da 22nd Jan and was successful. Arrived at embassy at about 6am and had to wait till 1pm for ma interview since it was moved frm 7am to 1pm. Experience will follow 2mrrw since I lost ma fon and hardly go to cafe. Tnx to everyone ESP taatus and adzovia. God bless y'all. Da Lord is good indeed.

justwise: You just did that now, so why do you need contact to ask such question? Many have asked such question many times before and get an answer, the advantage of asking questions openly is that you will get answers from more than one person AND if anybody gives a misleading
answer others will point that out.
