But celebs are busy trying to impress people, with their flashy cars, and flashy lifestyles

You might be a shy guy/girl when it comes to wooing the opposite sex, talking in front of a big crowd, or just when it comes to looking into your friend's eyes when you or you friend is talking...

One way to improve your confidence is through perception..

Perception in how we see things from our own point of view. In this case perception is how you see yourself in the mirror and what you think of yourself..

Imagine a lady with high class shoes, clothes, hair.. I mean just imagine that girl who makes everyone goes wow with her fashion.

Now when you see her, if you are one of those shy guys you could say she is out of your league.. she is high class, high standard..

Oboy no go kill yourself ooo.. your friends might say

But the real deal is that you are seeing her the way the society sees her and not how you see her and not through how you see yourself (perception)..

You are a slave to the values society has set, Society says women should be submissive and keep themselves for a man and women have been doing that for years, while it allows a man to behave as he chooses and still get a way with it..

Now this is what society wants us to see and how it wants us to behave, we measure standards and values not by the skills, knowledge, achievements we posses and impact we have created, but by riches, beauty and fame..

Now, the actual way to improve your confidence is to create your own reality, your own world, how and who you see yourself, rather than who the society regards you as..

Your skills your talents and character should be just who you are and not how people influence you to be.

Once you stop measuring standards by beauty, fame and fortune..(as the world does).. and you start doing so by what you perceive is right.. I mean in your own terms, then you are in control..

I measure standards by how smart, creative you are and how you impact in me.. So if you wear high class clothes, drives airplanes as cars or whatever form of luxury, you will have to succumb to the rules of my reality and not the rules of the reality society has created for us..

Thank u bro 4 impacting more knowledge in me. The reason dis country is nt moving forward is because we only think about ourselve. And those that as gotten 2 a certain height in life don't want 2 impact other people life because they re scared 4 those that they help not 2 b greater than them in future.
We all av mindset in dis country which is, u can't make it if u re not involve in an oil company and that's d reason almost all d youth don't tink outside d box. We re in africa and weneva u luk outside ur window, u most c men and women wearing material cloth(wrapper) and have not seen any youth having an ambition of having a textile industry, that y all my life, i will always talk about and respect that man called dangote he made d world know that there is men and women who can think outside d box in dis country that thier main income is oil.

Warms my heart that I am fulfilling my purpose (impacting knowledge)....

That thing I wrote in bold is our African Lifestyle.... So it shouldn't be criticized.. Because na the hand way your mama born you with, na im you go use take chop...

Change it is often to be easier said than actually implemented. We have that live to survive mentality in this country, majority of the populace aspire to live to survive. t[b]hey see it as the best thing to happen to them. Can they be blamed[/b], nor wholly u can say because when you start thinking of how to impact lives you yourself is hungry and struggling as it is, we don't have that mentality of starting small to make it big, we want to be big instantly.
So our mentality plays a big part in how we do things here, no hindsight and lack of patience. Oga sir E go better.

I promised this article sometime ago which talks about the Difference between Living to Exist and Living to Survive

The Difference between living to survive and living to exist is view and people who live to survive have a limited view....

I came to believe that this view is natural, the way nature intends for organisms to live is how they live.. eat sleep reproduce and die...

For Example

Imagine you strike a 1 million naira a month job in an oil company, 99% of us have just made the biggest achievement in our lives getting a job in shell.. and then we proceed to own houses and rent them out to get more cash or do some business just for the aims of profit and that's it our children will get to live a happy life, and if we care we send gifts to orphanages and all sort of homes...

This is the life that most of us want and that is what I call living to survive... you just want to get the best for yourself and that's it (and maybe hand your friends some few cash).. Giving gifts to orphanages, food stuff and all those necessities doesn't make you an active, because those orphanages will finish that food and look to another benefactor for more and you will be forgotten.. You didn't think of providing what will impact them in the long run..

The passive only sees his own problems, how to make himself great, make life worth living for himself, he does not see the world, so he will do anything to get a better life, than try to change the world around him..

Thats how it is in Nigeria, we see lack of social amenities and unemployment as what we each want and that is the number one criteria before we elect a candidate into power, we don't look for intellect, we look for Governors who promise to make 100 millionaires in a state of 3 million people in 4 years (just 100 in 4 years.. what MTN does in 1 month who wants to be a millionaire promos)

Lets talk about Mark Zuckerberg...

He enjoyed developing computer programs, especially communication tools and games

he built a software program he called "ZuckNet" that allowed all the computers between the house and dental office to communicate with each other.

all these he did in his early years and in the end he created facebook which was to allow users communicate with each other irrespective of location or whatever... Now he wasn't looking for a job at Shell or Chevron, he wasn't doing what many Nigerian entrepreneurs are doing, which is creating a business just to get profit (big amounts of it) Instead he saw the bigger picture, with an unlimited view and he saw how he could connect and impact billions of people in the whole wide world and that is what he did and today he is ranking as the 5th richest man in the world..

The passive (those who live to survive) one thing about them is that when they make it, they still don't impact on anyone, even their friends, their friends wish to be like them and not impact the world as they have done. Olamide is a perfect example of this...

He does not impact for a positive change, because he only sees what is around him and not the 1 billion people in Africa he can impact, it's all about improving his music, creating his brand and not about impacting Nigerians for a positive change..

For example

Beyonce has a song titled "I was here" I implore you to listen to this music and tell me if It does impact you to make a change..

Because the passives look at themselves in the mirror and see only themselves, their fame, achievement, how they suffered and how they are here now.. Instead of counting how they have brought forward a movement with their music, or how it brought a change in millions of people..

Like I said

Don't try to impress people with your lifestyle, trying to make them wish to be you.. Instead build people inside and out and they will be forever be indebted to you, including those they will build..

Talking about limited views, the week just began, I am sure many of us have planned how it will go,

Now how many people did you plan to impact in (I am not talking about preaching here) what skills, ideas did you plan to improve on

Limited views makes us restricted and we are never able to achieve fully the potential we have from birth, it makes us accept the change we see, it makes us accept things we refer to as manageable till God gives us something better..

A limited view is the reason why you are running from interview to interview, instead of you creating interviews, it is the reason you are running from merrybet to nairabet , instead of you being the one creating job opportunities for the youths, it is the reason you are looking for profits in MMM and blogging rather than impacting people, it is the reason why girls go into prostitution and being call girls (that is what we call runs girl mind you)..

Think of creating something huge that will impact all.. Dream big, rather dreaming of you working in an air conditioned office working for an Oil Company, instead dream of you being the CEO in an air conditioned office, owning a company that employs thousands or hundreds of thousands, that provide a valuable substance or material to earthlings,

The world is more than just about you being rich and owning houses in Lagos, Ibadan and America, more than you driving 10 jeeps and buying bugattis, its about you waking up one morning and seeing people driving jeeps of expensive nature (not keke and volvos) all around and you say to yourself.. I made that happen...

You are wrong ..... Ladies have so many insecurity issues especially with their bodies... and just telling a girl you barely know ... and who is barely comfortable being around you to wash away her makeup does not make any sense..

Has she shown any signs that she is completely free with you... completely free to show you the childish things she does... or any like that kind of stuff... this is when you know that she has lifted her boundaries....

So just understand this..

A well grown, groomed gentleman or man would have them sit and talk it over, mostly by seeing him apologize and not defend his actions.

I saw a beast today.. I saw the greatest beast.. greater than the ones in the bible... even the antichrist../. I have fought him long ago.. he keeps coming back because I refused to do something... I refused to accept that I am not perfect... I refuse to say I can make mistakes... I refused failures and restitution ..

That beast is called fear ...

But I pushed him down the fiery hole and he burnt in the pit of my past...

Never fear anything.. Because many great business today are results of failure and learning... You came into this world through someone who is imperfect... so never strive to be perfect... But strive to learn from every mistake caused by your imperfection... Strive by sitting and researching the loopholes that led to such setback..

Remember lessons are not just what you feel, but what you understand because you have researched on them (Because a man broke you heart doesn't mean that the lesson you learnt is that all men are wicked.. or men will play with your if you fall too deep in love .... look deeper, research, learn and understand)
