Phones / Re: Phone I Ordered From Aliexpress Is Being Held By Nigerian Customs by newguy1(m): 10:05am On May 19, 2022
onlinetrader:
Hi Nairaland Family..

I don't know if I am the only one to have observed this. These days, when you buy items like phone from AliExpress, the tracking moves smoothly until it reads "Received by Local Delivery Company". Sometimes, when it gets to this point, it stays there forever..and if at all it leaves this point and you want to claim it in the local post office, you will be charged heavily by the people in the post office.

Bought so many items like a month ago, out of which was a Poco phone. All other items have been delivered except this phone which I first ordered. This phone got to destination country (NGN) on the 8th of May before other items...but till now, tracking shows it hasn't left the custody of Nigerian customs.

What is the problem exactly? Is it that the phone has been "hijacked" OR the process to clear items like phone is different from wears and other items?

Please help
same here but mine is not that expensive I saw it had been received for over a month by Nigerian custom and till now I haven’t gotten it .FYI am waiting for mine too in ilorin . The last item I bought also took for 3 month and I had to pay 2k to collect and I asked for reasons why I’m paying double shipment fee only to be told it’s fast express delivery and the price is fixed. Buying online now is almost not advisable here in this country especially from oversea shops

Politics / Re: Peter Obi Interview With Arise TV On May 17, 2022 by newguy1(m): 3:15pm On May 17, 2022
Joezinho:
Peter Obi is capable and experienced but thats the least of the factors needed to clinch the seat in Nigeria. Sad reality..

Every tribe would first of all vote for their own candidates before others. Forget about all these talks on NL.. Tribal and religious considerations would come into the fray.

Politics is a game of numbers. Peter Obi can only be assured of his people's votes and that isn't going to be enough to capture the presidential seat. Yoruba would massively vote for Tinubu/APC. That's the truth. The first major hurdle for him would be the clinching of the PDP candidature. Can he honestly beat Atiku or Wike in a straight fight at the primaries? These two would be spoilers for any PDP presidential candidate coming from the Southeast. After winning the primaries, can Peter Obi honestly rustle up 25% votes from 24 states of the federation and from 4 geopolitical zones? Apart from the Southeast, Southsouth and part of the North Central which other zone would cast its votes him?

I really would want him to win.
pls stop making assumption on social media it’s part of what is spoiling this country. If peter obi can get his act together and do the needful yoruba will vote for him. Yoruba are very accommodating and if he can show them what he will do y not. All this yoruba will chose tinubu this and that is high time we stop that. we don’t (yoruba)do he his our son or my Muslim brother we vote for what we though is good

From episode 1 to 4 is full of plot holes sometimes I wonder if this directors actually gives there movies to fil critic to watch before finally releasing . I can’t hold my boredom from silly and repeated mistake from esp ebony n kemi Adetiba movies. Blood sister have a weak storyline n half baked also I have no pointer from the series to hold on to after watching

Hopefully second games will b better when the teams will b looking to win games n not draw but my concern is d quality of play is too poor only Nigeria have show some element of modern football but in the game self we have this feeling that Nigeria still didn’t play there best

Nice first half not much talking point, Zimbabwe needs to work on there counter attack n Senegal need to put in more energy in the second half. I think the second half can see both team try to get atleast one goal. Am not boreded about the low scoring just shows there isn’t much gap in between these African teams and it will improve as the tournament progress

Good morning family. My name is Oyeleke. I have a degree in Accounting but due to lack of job, i have a computer center where I print, scan and make photocopy, but recently someone opened a big shop with state of the art equipment in my area and splash the price where people are now rushing to. Please I need a good Samaritan to help me improve my business also so that I can put food on the table for my wife and two kids. Thanks
You have two options either u get a loan to improve urs or diversify by get ur business to another area I.e have another branch or u add more services to urs but that won’t help because what ever u do he can do too.
The Nigeria system doesn’t protect service renders right so not to sugar coat either u improve urs or my pick get a new branch some where. Either way u need loan
Note am not saying u should leave that spot but am saying opening another branch somewhere. Ur competition have challenges u which u have to respond by ignoring u will loss customers n share the profit one to two n d Sharing ratio well ur guess will be as good as mine
