Nuprc hasn't done anything yet concerning recruitment, though as i was told by one of their staff upon visiting there office that the list is ready just that there are some internal issues that blocked the whole process. So hopefully if they amicably resolve those issues, people will be contacted.

Owing salaries? That's not true. No Federal worker (except those with irregularities in their biodata with IPPIS or those who fail to show up for verification exercises) is being owed salary.

Sometimes, promotion arrears might be delayed before being payed but eventually you will get your entitlements.

About striving to make ends meet.....that's totally subjective, so it might be true. Two officers on the same rank may be collecting same salary but one might be living more comfortable than the other who is probably servicing a loan or has more mouths to feed.

I quit gambling late 2022 after losing big money. CEOs of banks, FMCG companies, telecoms, hospitality, construction and some other companies (even the COO of Dangote Group) in Nigeria earn above 250m per annum. Abeg which DG of any agency earns that amount "legitimately"?

The suicidal comment was just an hyperbole however, I was disappointed at the fact that many folks here saw a 130k monthly pay as a big deal. I was like wtf. Someone even said she earns 350k monthly and another was like its not possible, she needs 6 years experience to earn that bla bla bla. It's just disappointing and it's so obvious they haven't really started life and have little to zero experience in the labour force. Like you said, life is in phases. If you offer a kid fresh outta secondary school a 20k monthly job, that'll be big money to him. Many people here on this thread are definitely graduates and will see a 70k monthly job as a big deal. By they time they receive 70k consecutively for like a year, they will understand better.

I understand you my brother. It's the same reason I never complain to some of my friends, because they will never understand. I will rather express myself to the ones who earn way higher than me; those ones can relate because they are there already. I have friends that will ask me "o boy, how you dey take cope with this salary because me wey dey collect higher sef, e no reach me" and I have friends that will say "if I fit just dey collect half of wetin you dey collect nau ehn". That's why rich men change their environment and friends as their wealth increases. E go be like pride but it's honestly easier to relate with people within your social status.
I understand the suicidal part as a hyberbole but I also don't blame those who don't understand. It will come across to them as ingratitude. My brother, through the mercies of God, I cannot remember the last time I bought foodstuff in small quantities because it's cheaper and cost-effective on the long run to buy in bulk but I still cried in November last year because I couldn't complete payment for a land in Abuja and it was sold and my money refunded to me in full. I wasn't cheated o but I still cried that I couldn't afford the land I was already in love with. Some people will cry because they don't have food, others will cry because they cannot afford shelter. Others will cry because they cannot afford a vacation. Dangote fit don cry for corner sef when him refinery no quick take off as planned. For some, it's just children's school fees. Our problems, needs and wants vary.
But one thing for sure is that as we progress, our prayer points will always change and God is never tired of listening to us.
