Zaria Residents Sacrifice 2 Rams While Praying Against Incessant Kidnapping (Photos)

Residents of Kusfa in Zaria, Kaduna state slaughtered two rams during a prayer
organised to ask for Allah's intervention regarding the insecurity in the country, IgbereTV reports.

During the prayer, they asked Allah for help to win the war against kidnapping and banditry.

Photos show that the prayer session was well attended by residents.

The prayer is coming a few days after the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmad Bamalli cried out that Zaria Emirate was under the siege of bandits.

The monarch said that Zaria city and its surroundings are experiencing incessant attacks and abductions. He stated this while hosting a delegation of the heads of security agencies serving in Kaduna at his palace on Monday, June 14.

United Nigeria Plane Escapes Crash, Passengers Thank God For Saving Their Lives (Video)

Passengers in a United Nigeria plane that escaped crash on Friday were seen thanking God for saving their lives, IgbereTV reports.

The plane from Port Harcourt was on its way to Abuja.

The Pilot of the airplane reportedly lost control and dangled in the sky for more than 30 minutes.

It almost crashed in a nearby bush, but somehow the pilot regained control and managed to land safely after 30mins.

"Sequel to the meeting with the Commissioner of Police and the Security Adviser to the Governor, it's heart warming to report that a help desk has now been set up at the Bar Centre to collate the names of innocent Imolites unjustly arrested and detained by the Nigeria Police for the purpose of securing their release.

The Bar, through its committee on Human Rights will anchor and coordinate the help desk at the Bar center to entertain complaints on unlawful arrest and detention of Imolites.

Complaints received will be taken up with the appropriate quarters in order to secure the release of these detainees; considering that the Courts are not sitting owing to the JUSUN strike

This approach is dictated by the precarious security situation in Imo State at the moment which has the semblance of war situation. The outcome of our interactions reveal that there is more to the situation than meets the eye*

Seun Kuti Raises 2 Middle Finger And Walks Out On Governor Sanwo-Olu At His Sister's Birthday (Photos, Video)

Seun Kuti created a scene at the birthday party of his sister, Yeni Kuti, on Monday May 24, when he raised his two middle fingers and walked out on Lagos state Governor, Sanwo-Olu who came to felicitate with the daughter of Afrobeat Legend Fela Kuti on her 60th birthday, IgbereTV reports.

Seun Kuti who is the pioneer of the Nigerian Resistance Movement, expressed his displeasure with Sanwo-Olu's attendance by raising two middle fingers and walking out on the Lagos state Governor after he showed up to felicitate with his sister.

He was later brought back to the venue by his elder brother, Femi Kuti who tried to douse the tension. Seun later shook hands with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
