Then we've not talked about the artistes who will be performing. If you've heard my brother from another mother M Trill on the M.I.C, then you'll know he's worth more than most of these rappers charging N500,000 per table. Christine Ben-Ameh nko? Just met with Eddie4 of Nairaland today too. He's printing wristbands for the Grand Nigerian Party. If person claim Identity, no be to tell am make e post as the ID wey e claim? LOL. |
Because I do a lot of business on Nairaland, I get to meet a lot of Nairalanders. I've met "dollz" pretty, serious businesswoman. I've met "texazzpete" gentleman, tech nerd, gamer, and now a husband, father and close friend of mine. I've met Laide O. We're finally putting together an event where everyone who wants to meet someone on Nairaland can on 26-11-11. Y'all watch out for it, or follow the link. |
@DYT I'm trying to get your point, but I guess I'll just have to dust my boots and walk on. Perhaps the next edition, you could help us pick a venue. @Agybabe I feel you. I guess you'll have to console yourself with the photos and videos. @Ebuwa! The one and only. I'm sure we'll see there. You're welcome man. I remain loyal. |
Well, I can't really tell the effectiveness of the measures the CBN has put in place to regulate currency rates, but so far, I really am not impressed at all. I do believe in their competence, however, I think they may have reasons for allow the value of the Naira fluctuate so oddly. Anyways, that's not why I'm here. My little nephew has spent all the hard currency he has on him and finally had to scour his entire luggage to come up with these about 50 $1 notes. I don't know where else to sell such, cos I don't believe those mallams have interest, so I came to Nairaland first. N150/$. 08134227113. @Fhemmmy, Good afternoon. Thanks for the nice words yesterday. I wish you could make it to the Grand Nigerian Party, however, I do understand.

I don't know what manner of imbeciles came up with this farce. The only thing I tell them is, if Baba Suwe has enough charms to maintain cocaine in his bowels for a month, then why would he even need to go through the stress of swallowing any drugs at all? Why doesn't he just gather all the drugs in the privacy of his bedroom and use "incantations" to "disappear" the drugs to his pre-booked hotel room in Europe?! Yes, why not?! Gone are the days when gross inefficiency will be excused by mystical fables. Some person or group of person will be punished for this madness. The last time such outlandish incidence was heard of was when the Nigerian Police Force arrested a goat for highway robbery! Then there was the yam that was also detained almost at the same time as the goat, they claimed the yam was an Okada man who was forced to wear the helmet he was offering a passenger, in fact I'm tired! Have we not had enough of this rubbish?! Ha Ahn! When are we going to demand real law enforcement from our law enforcement agencies, and not all these extra-planetary excuses? |
Well, I don't think there's any use for this whole word war. People should just learn to decipher things properly before making conclusions. If Baba Suwe were your uncle, or your father, you would know how it feels to go through what he just did, and that the only consolation anyone has when being dehumanized by such arcane system, is the belief others retain in them, and their innocence. |
Please riddle me this: WHAT IF SOMEONE DIES IN THE LIVINGROOM? |
Is that a government plate number? It's looking kinda greenish to me, well, maybe it's just me. |
D Block Beach Bar and Lounge, Oniru Beach.
|
Hello DYT, I believe you're among those who've called to make inquiries about the event. Well, Oniru is in Victoria Island. We don't want to go deep into the Peninsula, because it will discourage people from the Mainland. If you've been to Oniru Beach, you must know D Block. It's not your average beach bar. |
My brother, no time for long tin. I already even had my meeting without being able to make your prices available. I don't want to send a mail that will sit in anyone's inbox for hours, let alone days. What's your least and most quotation for 1000 wristbands? Call or text +2348417813 or +2348134227113 or PIN:32479C0C on BB. |
How much do you make this wristbands? Please post your prices here so that clients can easily make decisions based on different quotations. We need not less than 1000 units ASAP. |
The man is innocent. Yes! Innocent, and he's a human being like you, and a Nigerian like me. He's been bailed now. I wonder why enlightened people cannot easily decipher the truth from lies. For those of you who easily jumped to conclusion, how do you feel now? It is better to be a Doubting Thomas, than a false accuser. |
Baba Suwe was trending on Twitter for more than a week during this whole episode. Several Nigerians were talking about the incident, but none did anything about it. It even got to the point that most people started peddling lies about how Baba Suwe excreted 16 pellets of Cocaine, and cried like a baby: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-788371.0.html . People were only interested in sensationalism, rather than the effect of this on Nigerians everyday. How many Nigerians have been detained for wrongful suspicion of drug trafficking, and are still in detention till today? How many Nigerians have had their digestive system flushed with water by the NDLEA? How many Nigerians have missed their flights, their college admission, or their jobs simply because the NDLEA made a mistake? How long will it be till it is your turn? Thin about it, and stop treating this as a joke. I was compelled to contact his lawyer, Bamidele Aturu, at some point because I saw no reason why anyone with a lawyer would have to undergo so much suffering "legally". I tell you that this man deserves huge compensation from the NDLEA, and inclusive of that, the officers in charge of this matter have to be sacked. For those still making jokes about charms, and all the rest possibility, it may be your father, or your mother next, and you'll get to know how it feels. |
This is the first, and only decision GEJ has got right so far since he became President. Let us see if he doesn't recoil from this bravado, because honestly, it's very much unlike him. |
Most of you are even judging OBJ by his most recent achievements in the past decade, you forget that without Obasanjo, Nigeria would have been one of those African countries wallowing in perpetual civil war. When even the Head of State was not willing to take decisive action, and Murtala Muhammed had gotten fed up, Obasanjo led the men, and even took some unilateral decisions that brought the war to an end. I'm certain if he really is the greatest Nigerian of all time, but he most likely is. |
I remember this thread. Where are the people who were claiming back in 2006/2007 that Faze was better than TuFace? It's now today, and Faze is singing "Put Am For Gear One" and "Gimme Your BB PIN" while TuFace is singing "Chemical Reaction" and winning awards all over the world. I did tell all y'all that time will tell, and time told. TuFace is far, far out of Faze's league. |
This is an excellent vehicle. I wish I had cash at hand at the moment, but I don't. Looks like the Xtra Luxury Edition. I'll put a word out on this one. What's the location? |
Clearly, a lot of people are being very bias here, we all know that the worst governor since Adam and Eve were chased out of the Garden is Luck Igbinedion! NO CONTEST! |
