Let the useless people go to hell. Most Nigerian youths are lazy idiots that prefer to watch big brother. if they werent lazy they would have taken time to know the difference between 'a lot of' and 'all'

Buhari till 2023!
You are obviously the intellectual lazy one here and in my own opinion I would say 90% of Nigerian youths are hardworking than delusional people like.

Its so sad this is coming from one of the laziest commanders in chiefs that ever ruled the country, the same person who rather spends months on medical vacation overseas and prefers to work from home while is he around,he definitely needs to take crash a crash course on PR because his statements abroad are undiplomatic and counter productive to the country at large.

The question you should be asking yourself is how many of buharis mate got a bachelors degree at all,the problem we have in this country is the older generation and folks like u who enjoyed better opportunities back in those days and have successfully destroyed such opportunities due to greed which is the motivation of the older generation.

Many of these people enjoyed free education to start with and I can vividly remember back in the days, getting a job as a bachelors degree holder was way too easy and guess what it comes with mouth watering allowances and loans of getting a brand new car,do such opportunities still exist in today's Nigeria.

The British left a standard legacy of quality and free education but the likes of Buhari ruined it,check out the quality of building in many of the old missionary built schools around the country and compare them to what our older generation want for us and you will see the difference is clear, some of the facilities in most of these missionary colleges can compete favorably with some universities today.

Nigerian youths are very talented and I see talents wasting away every where I turn,in contrast to your logic, its the responsibility of the government to give the youths education,India also has a high population of youths and they send their best on scholarship to the US and UK and Europe to study,I mean millions of them, why can't Nigeria tow that line,India is now a force to reckon with in the world take it or leave it.

There isn't anything wrong in the government giving freebies in form of welfare to the youths either,if the Saudis,Qatari youth's who are also dependent on oil can enjoy freebies why not Nigerians, meanwhile I have never seen any Nigerian waiting for the government for housing, when they can't even provide portable water yet,you and your buhari are nothing but Ignorant and delusional dolts.

I don't usually like replying people like you.Nigerian are lazy although there are greater percentage of industrious ones.let me narrate my story to you,I believe it will give more credence to my points.when I left versity I had nothing,I was very bankrupt and to add to my ordeal, nobody to help me even there are,I abhor begging or soliciting for financial support even from my parents,I love being independent.I studied animal science and I took time to develop myself in poultry production(capacity building).when I finished my I t,they paid me 25k,after school I was able to save 15k from my pocket money,I sold my android phone and other properties I I used in school realising an estimation of 90k,I used the money to start a small scale poultry farm (50birds)jn my village, thanks to phcn,we always have light so cost of production was minimal.to summarize my story, now I comfortable to certain degree and I still sought for a higher opportunities
So in your mind now u are a great achiever because u were able to rear a couple of birds and added a couple of more zeros to your account oya clap for yourself, even a 10 year old Fulani boy has more cattle than u and perhaps richer so u haven't achieved nothing as far as I'm concerned, maybe u were able to put some crumbs on ur table good for u but that's about it.

Go to India and see start up labs your mates and working or go to Dubai and see a million coders their training that's the kind of human capital development bill gates is talking about not this good old animal husbandry skills that won't bring any innovation whatsoever to the society, what is the difference between your fowls and mama rasaki own in Oyo,in the bid to defend the indefensible u are shown u are nothing but a village nincompoop and a village square jester.

Kingsley10000:
Yes 80% of Nigerians youth are Lazy....
The point here is, are most Nigerian youths actually lazyhuh
And my answer is YES.
*How many of our youths today creates enough time to pay
attention in schools, study, read their books in higher
institutions?
What they care about mostly is how to manoeuvre their
ways to pass their exams.
*How many are actually in schools where you kept them,
not minding how you labour to pay their fees?
*How many of Nigerian youths are into Yahoo, yahoo plus,
human rituals, prostitutions at tender age?
But to be realistic, 80% of our Nigeria Youths are Lazy.....
*If not why would they prefer been used as thugs, than
contesting.
*Why would an Engineer, Pharmacist, Lawyer, etc graduate
and start searching for jobs that is no where to be found
when they can actually establish something on their own
and employ others.
*If they are not lazy, they are not creative.
*How many Nigerian youths owns mansions, big cars, very
expensive handsets while still searching for white collar
jobs, jobs in oil companies etc?
"How many of our youths can defend their discipline in
university certificate when employed?
*In a situation where your parents couldn't send you to
school due to poor background, how many youths today still
engaged themselves, serve as apprentices to artisans like
mechanic, bricklayers, carpenters, even to business shop
owners?
Okada ridding is presently their preference for quick cash,
with no plans for future.
A typical Nigerian youth today roams the streets with
girlfriends, browsing phones, visits drinking bars and night
clubs, spending money with no single legitimate source or
sources of income.
In Nigeria today, over 85% of suspects arrested for robbery
and other criminal activities are within the age brackets of
15 to 35, purely youths.
*Must Nigerian youths wait for everything from
government?
*Must they all be waiting for white collar jobs? American
said "Always think of what you can do for America and not
what America can do for you", how many Nigerian youths
believe in that?
*Is it a crime for Nigerian youths to have creative skills like
their counterparts in other nations and create jobs to assist
the government?
ARE NIGERIAN YOUTHS NOT LAZYhuh.
JUST TELL SOME NIGERIAN YOUTHS ABOUT "Bet9Ja",
THEN YOU ARE TALKING.
I am of the opinion that our youth of today needs serious
orientation, if not, I wonder the kind of future we are
creating for this beloved country Nigeria .
You are obviously the intellectual lazy one here and in my own opinion I would say 90% of Nigerian youths are hardworking than delusional people like.

You logic is biased and I'm beginning to have doubts u are really sound upstairs,u want fresh graduate of professional courses such as engineering, pharmacy and medicine to set up soon as they graduate, with which money,is the government providing start up loans for graduates,I can't even believe any sane person is asking how many youths are artisans like bricklayers etc except u are living in a bubble like your president or just been delusional.

Oh so u think okada riding is quick cash, really I would be more than glad to buy one for u just as a research project so u can ride it for 3 months for free and then u will know what it means to be on the bike for half a day,I mean did a human being type this trash or some spam robot cos u are just unbelievable.

Oh so u have problems with seeing youths roam the streets hustling to provide for what failures like u couldn't offer them,as if its a crime to have a girlfriend and hit the bar and club if u can afford it,why are u surprised there is a high youth percentage in crimes, are u not the same person who want fresh medical graduates to build hospitals of their own soon as they done with school,do u really have anything still ticking upstairs at all?

Pls just don't bring the US into this because this is a country that has a standerd welfare program for all while Nigeria has a totally non existent welfare structure so there is no basis for comparison whatsoever and about the BET9JA thing u are obviously uninformed and ignorant as sports betting is a way of life in sane climes and its not necessarily a youth thing, visit casinos in Vegas and see rich folks way older than u can ever imagine gambling their hearts away.

Nigerian youths are very talented and I see talents wasting away every where I turn,in contrast to your logic, its the responsibility of the government to give the youths education,India akso has a high population of youths and they send their best on scholarship to the US and UK and Europe to study,I mean millions of them, why can't Nigeria tow that line,India is now a force to reckon with in the world take it or leave it.

You clearly are the intellectually bankrupt one, if you think that, because the suspension resulted from a Senate Ethic committee recommendations, therefore it supersedes an Appellant Court ruling that, the Senate does not have the power to suspend one of their own because it violates the rights of his/her constituents to be fully represented.

The high court ruled that, they cannot suspend beyond 14 days, the Appeal Court reversed that and held that, they can’t even suspend for a single day.

Until they appeal that ruling to the Supreme Court, any disciplinary action taken involving the suspension of a colleague is invalid and unconstitutional and it is not me saying that, it is the Courts who are vested with the powers to interprete the constitution that stated that in their order.
Every institution and organization has their rules and code of conduct which may supersede your individual right if out of conviction you decide to be a memeber, you might have to give up some individual rules.

For example in the the military and the civil service of Nigeria, indivials of these organizations are not allowed to hold traditional titles or positions while they are still in service, are you going to say their rights of association has been infringed upon in this context?

I hope I am made my self elementary enough for your single digit cerebral capacity to discern.

You don’t understand the superseding nature of conflicting laws.

Did you read the Appellant case I quoted for you? How does the jurisdiction of the committee to suspend a member supersede a court order, clearly saying they don’t have the power to do so.

Hon. Danna was suspended by a committee who thought like yourself that, they have the power to do so, but the Appeal Court disagreed with them and reversed them.

Reconcile the Appeal Court order with your position, unless you think the court was in error.
The Senate on Wednesday suspended Senator Ali Ndume for six months for raising false allegations against the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Dino Melaye through order 14 and 15 at plenary last week.

The suspension follows report of Senator Samuel Anyanwu-led committee on Public Petitions, Ethics and Privileges which recommended for his suspension for one legislative year.

O boy! Hope say your school fees was not wasted?

What you quoted is the constitutional duty of the House or Senate to investigate matters, ministries or people for...with respect to which it has power to make laws.

No way did it state that, they can suspend a colleague. That power is only reserved over things they have power over to make laws...The Senate can make laws over citizens, ministries;but they cannot make laws over Senate or the President, etc.

By your assertions, if you apply that section, it means that the Senate can suspend anybody including the AGN, the President.

The Court have ruled on this question and considering this constitution section and sided against the Senate...google and read ‘House of Assembly v. Hon. Danna’....they were told to their face by the appellant court that, they don’t have the right to suspend a member period!

My point is, the ethic community does not have the power to Suspend a Senator.

The constitution is superior to any ethic community or policies of the Senate...that was the ruling of the Appeal Court.
Unfortunately u don't have a point

The power or right of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions to exercise its authority over person(s), subject matter or territory is derived from the 1999 Constitution (as amended). Section 88(1) of the Constitution provides that each House of the National Assembly shall have power by resolution published in its journal or in the Official Gazette of the government of the Federation to direct or cause to be directed an investigation into sada) any matter or thing with respect to which it has power to make laws; and (b) the conduct of affairs of any person, authority, ministry or government department charged, or intended to be charged with the duty of or responsibility of sadi) executing or administering laws enacted by the National Assembly and (ii) disbursing or administering of monies appropriated by the National Assembly. Any Committee including the Senate Committee on Public Petitions can be mandated to investigate such matters; as it deems necessary.

They did it in contravene of an existing court ruling that, the Senate does not have the right to suspend another Senate.

Doing so, will be violating the democratic rights of his/her constituents to be represented.

If the Senate felt that, a fellow member broke the law, after the committee finding, they can vote to refer the matter to the AG for prosecution and the whole Senate can vote to confirm.
There is a ethics committee in the red chambers whose duty is to checkmake and enforce any erring member of the senate and they have made their decision, the action is crass show of shame.

This your kain reasoning is why we have millions of Almajiri kids in the north,I have kids I'm responsible for not because I want them to take care of me when I get old but because I want them to be the best they can in life and that's my joy.

Parents should be responsible for their kids unconditionally and not because they want them to be a returns on investment.

Did the baby beg them from heaven to be carried for 9 months or is it the kids fault she passed through labour, its nothing but as a result of their actions or inactions.

I pity the mother for giving birth to such ungrateful son.
Better to have female children than such a son!
He's talking about not been able to bag a degree in the university. When there are so many graduates out there without jobs, trekking with torn shirts and battered shoes.
He should go and see his mates who didn't go to university, how well off they are and enjoying life. Cos why? They think out the box and outside the norms of the society.

Any man who dispise his mother will suffer in life. It's not curse but what God has ordained already from above.

That's why he's suffering. So much hate in his heart towards his mum.

Na their he go dey ,no going forward no going backward. He should keep hating her. He is doing himself.
Wake up and smell the coffee, his mom clearly needs some psychological evaluation and therapy and this isn't about trying to bedevil the mom.

The problem with our society is this, infallible attitude we have towards our parents and the older generation in general,we would rather, see no evil, hear no eveil, say no evil about them instead of tacking any challenges

With this kinda of attitude and religion in the mix I guess we will have a long way to go in this part of the world, his concern truly shows he still loves and cares for his mother.

Take a look at the situation in the country now and it's very obvious the older generation has failed us woefully, with this kain ur reasoning, even if ur mom dey kolo u would rather be singing orisa bi iya kosi instead of seeking medical attention

Mother to child relationship should be symbiotic however I support we treat our parents with all the respect they deserve but not a demi god scenario.

Afterall no one gets to choose their parents,na jeje the pikin siddon for yonder before una use fuku fuku call am,so they should be also be some level of responsibility from them.

Nigerians like to celebrate mediocrity that's why we have mostly dunderheads in the helms of affairs in the country.

Here is my rating for the remaining housemates

Alex......tho a bit hardworking, she isn't the serious type, she would rather do well been some video vixen.
Ceecee....Its very obvious she need mental evaluation and therapy, she needs help and needs to go home ASAP.
Miracle...Dude is too vain but still has some sense of humor at least and has been himself so far.

Tobi......Dude is so immature but has some good strategy at least

simiolu1:
It was fun gone bad; true.
They were partying; true.
Is partying illegal? No.
Would the Police ask questions when someone ends up dead hours after attending a party? Definitely.

And the Police is not accusing anyone of anything yet. They only want to know how a guy who was drinking some hours ago suddenly ended up in a hospital DOA (Dead On Arrival). But you entirely missed the point I was trying to make in my post.

I should have said complicity, not conspiracy (my bad) and complicity is a very strange dice in law and people get convicted for it on the most ridiculous and flimsy excuses you can ever hear. And one of those reasons can be encouraging someone to take an unreasonable amount of alcohol (reason number 1) and an autopsy report which indicates that the person died as a consequence of that alcohol intake (reason number 2). The key word here is unreasonable. If it was one shot or two, no one would be making noise. But 30 (or 40 as some people claim)? Damn; that's high. And please note those two conditions.

Complicity is the participation in a completed criminal act of an accomplice, a partner in the crime who aids or encourages (abets) other perpetrators of that crime, and who shared with them an intent to act to complete the crime. A person is an accomplice of another person in the commission of a crime if they purpose the completion of a crime, and toward that end, if that person solicits or [b]encourages the other person, or aids or attempts to aid in planning or committing the crime, or has legal duty to prevent that crime but fails to properly make an effort to prevent it..

Is drinking a crime? No.
Did someone end up dead? Yes.
Was the death from natural causes? No.
Was a crime committed? Maybe.
If reason number 2 that I mentioned above was fulfilled, then the Police would ask if they encouraged him when he was taking that alcohol.
Did they? Yes.
Do you now get my point?
In the end, that autopsy report saved them from a lot of Police wahala. Can we both agree on that?
This is a no case scenario

Does davido have any legal duty to stop him from drinking......NO
Davido can only be complicit if the deceased is under 18 years or he was tied and forced by Davido to drink the tequila

Is it legal to drink as many bottles as u want ....Yes

That is why it is clearly stated on the alcohol bottles to drink responsibly and the plus 18 sign

Is it legal for him to order his police escort to go and take escort his friends car from wherever he might have been unconscious to the hospital and access the situation......Absolutely.

Some weeks ago a girl died in a basement freezer in a hotel in the US and the cctv footage shows her obviously staggering to the basement after been stoned peole think she might have been saved if her friends had tried to look out for her a bit more,as u have seen on the footage davido was obviously trying to help out and would rather say big ups to him. However nobody in the world knows when he is gonna die even you so it was just some innocent clubbing, getting high and all

However he can always be invited for questioning by the police anytime they deem fit to help investigations since they were together on the day of the incident doesnt make him complicit in any way.
