kisstaye: be reasonable. Read the instructions on the CIC website for people doing online applications and paper routes. it is stated that you have a scanner close by to scan and upload these documents. If you did not do yours and you scaled through, well, Thank God that you were passed through. another fellow may not be passed through because this may be spotted a disqualifying error. These are instructions which have been stated. Nigeria is among the nations that MUST present a police character certificate. I maintain my discretion and advice whosoever is going for an online application to scan and include this document. again, "the phrase don't spread lies is offensive " ... does that make you the truth teller? if you are to put information across, make the right choice of words and speak else, please hold your peace. we are here to help people and not to speak harshly and shut people with a helping mindset up with offensive languages. Please, take note. 7 Likes |

ziggy3579: I am not misleading. wrong choice of words bro!. if the person gets there and is stranded nko ?. i know a few people who got there and were over charged as much as 15,000 on really rough grounds. if you read through, you will see that i said "to be on the safe side" .... maybe i stretched the amount so much. i agree to the fact that the person should bargain well on whatever price is mentioned. 2 Likes |

emma4eva: FOR ALL APPLICATIONS, POLICE CHARACTER CERTIFICATE AS IT IS CALLED (POLICE CLEARANCE) IS MANDATORY. for further inquiry, look at (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-how.asp) THE ADDRESS WHERE IT IS DONE IN LAGOS, Central Criminal Registry Force C.I.D. Annex Alagbon Close Ikoyi Lagos, Nigeria ABOUT THE PRICE, WELL IT VARIES. JUST GO THERE WITH NOT LESS THAN 20K TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE 2 Likes |

for those whose cash is handy or any other means and want to sort out accommodation, this link will help out https://www.places4students.com/index.aspx for those about to jet out, its better this way to avoid over payment: get to travelstart website: https://www.travelstart.com.ng/?affId=google&iframeVersion=&host=&show_banners=true&landing_page=false&isiframe=false& choose your departure and arrival (flying out from Abuja is cheaper than from Lagos from what i have observed) ..... its preferable to select one way ticketing to cut down cost if you are considering cost. under preferred cabin, select economy and then select re-bookable flight. the re-bookable option is to enable you get a better date at a lower price and be able to change the date at no cost when you finally know when you want to travel. this is advisable for those who are expecting their TRV ant time soon and do not know the time for sure. book in advance and then you can shift the date at no cost. you will get a price between 350 to 500k. preferable airline is Turkish air or Egypt air. reason is that, these airlines do not pass through places like USA or UK where you will need a visa to traverse. all the best people ! 15 Likes 3 Shares |

borvick: Okay, great. I do not think you should panic. If God has done it this far, delivery should be a walk over. Just pray and cancel every delay in the path. on a second note, my own notification of approval came in on 19th, and today the 24th passport has been dispatched. I am waiting for an email from the VFS Office that it has been received so i go pick up. am sure its gonno come before next week by Gods grace. cheers !!! |

opeoluwa00: hello sir, it is well with you. i believe that God will make a way for you. my candid advice to you this time around is 1.) do not use an agent next time. this forum is a non profit group and i believe we are all here to help one another. in my own time of application, i got a lot of help from this place too. you can take the pains to read the trending discussions and you will definitely find out how to go about whatever case you may be faced with. i do not think there is not a similar case which applies to yours here. 2.) where you encounter difficulties, ask questions and probably refer to any pm where you find similar case solved, someone will definitely help out. 3.) commit to God, and He will bring it to pass for you .... am sure you know this already. peace bro !! 6 Likes |

Hi every one. I am new to this forum and have tried to read trending discussions. I applied for my permit on 14th June and it's 9weeks old now. I did my police clearance and medicals in advance and submitted all at once. I believe God that it is coming through soon. My school is Carleton university Ottawa. Course is MASc systems and control engineering. Any one for same school please ? 1 Like |
