15 year old my foot. Kwarrupshion!

Can ladies stop this age scam. The two major professions in Nigeria where people lie about their age.

1. Football
2. Nollywood
I have to speak out. Biko what is wrong with you. Why do you guys always love to doubt peoples ages. She is fifteen and I knew when she started acting. I have some friends that are in their early twenties but they look way older not everyone lies about her age.

I believe that mathematics is a gift for some people. No matter how hard I try, the highest I can get in math is a c. Some people are good in math, others are not. I hate math with a passion.

No it wasn't stated but grant/award are given based on performance after semester exam

The tuition fees n books is $5k plus per semester
Living expenses for a yr $15k
Health insurance is 1k plus
Total $22k

These are the info on the website. The school (broward college) sent me financial form that my sponsor will fill n sign with attached financial statement but the exact amount wasn't stated on the mail so i assumed 22k should be amount in the statement of acct

Note: I applied as a transfer student since I already have a bsc but gpa too low for master program and am also changing/switching to another course field
Please how did you go about it

ha ha, that approach denied me an a once and it was very painful, the lecturer actually didn't understand the textbook except she photocopied and ended up teaching us the wrong thing and marking it the right answer, i have also noticed that most lecturers especially in the north, are not even teaching what they studied, imagine a fisheries graduate teaching chemistry in a state polytechnic in the north? i rest my case.
it's really bad
Education / Re: Do U Feel That Ur University Degree Is A Waste Of Time And Why by ngobaby2264: 8:15am On Sep 24, 2016
Why do average students in Nigeria become excellent when they travel abroad, it's simpler and because of the education. To me, my education is a waste. I studied microbiology. In my school you are not even expected to read wide. Just garbage in garbage out. Just give exactly what was given in the note and you are a straight A student. You must know how to cram. I found out very late, in my 300 level. Most times I read with text book, and during exams, I explain it the best way I understood but it didn't help

Good morning everyone. God bless y'all on this thread. I had a very puzzling dream and I woke up with a heavy heart. I was like in a school gathering. In real live, I just finished my project, I've not cleared cos I have issues extra semester . Like I said I saw my self in a school setting like a hall, you know how full a hall is during a graduation ceremony, that's how full the hall was. Suddenly lemme say the proprietor of the school, a middle aged woman came on to the stage. And she called me out from the crowd. And one other girl which I can't remember. She started humiliating me right in front of everybody, remember the hall was full like about 3000 people or so in the hall. She brought out a certificate which was clearly not mine, we bear the same name but different middle name, different date of birth etc. The difference was clear that it wasn't mine and I explained to her that that wasn't my certificate yet she kept humiliating me, telling me I falsified my result. I started crying telling her I was innocent and truly, I was innocent. I told her it was a mix up. In that dream, I was so humiliated I kept crying and I woke up feeling bad. Please folks, what's the meaning of the dream.

yes most guys are opportunists
Romance / Re: "Ladies, Sometimes DM Him First Because You Might End Up Getting Married". PICS by ngobaby2264: 7:18am On Sep 19, 2016
I'd never try it again. I'm kind of an unconventional person. Very open minded but from the experiences I've had I won't try it again. Most guys would just take the opportunity to break your heart and say after all, where you not the one that made the first move. First time, I had this close guy friend. I started developing feelings for him, after much effort I opened up to him on how I felt about him, he lied that he felt the same way about me. He just saw that as an opportunity. Until later I realized he had a girlfriend and he didn't deny it. Previously I asked if he had a girlfriend and he said no. The two other guys I tried to dm don't even notice me. So I've just given up on love for now. If it happens fine, if it does not life goes on. I'd just keep on being the best version of myself. P. S please is there a special way to understand guys? Especially when they tell you they love you but don't want to commit at the same time?

Hello Lamasta.. Your two dreams about the dog and president Buhari.

The first dream represents victory. From the moment you had that dream, it means you will overcome any embarrassment or upset that is about to come your way.

The second dream is talking about the troubles President Buhari is facing. His wife there represents 'Nigeria'..
Divorcing his wife represents 'removal from office'. The president may be removed from office one way or the other, he may no 'onger be in that seat. The dream doesn't give a clear expression in the way it may happen, but the dream is saying it is likely to happen.

But the dream is simply a reflection of the difficulties the president is facing in this present times. The dream is not complete yet. It would have been good to know what that heavy weight man said.
But anyway the heavyweight man represents a 'Strong man', that is the power behind the problems in Nigeria. This strong man may cause great problems in year 2019 (the next election). But if God intervenes, nothing terrible will happen. So we have to make God intervene by praying seriously. The enemy has an agenda in that year 2019.

What happens in 2019 may be very terrible. Let us all join hands and pray for our country and the leadership of this country because God isn't happy with the leaders of this country.

God bless you Lamasta smiley
I equally had a dream where buhari was on clutches and he was struggling to move around. Before I slept I wasn't in any way thinking about him.. Or Nigeria.

Me yet 6ytythat has third class with extra semester, have I killed myself? Well the best option would be for her to encourage herself because at the end of the day she only has one life to live. When I found out what grade I was graduating with, I was so depressed, angry and jealous of people better than me academically. I was filled with hatred and jealousy. Cos after working hard, all I got rewarded with was failure and missing scripts.

I don't understand what you mean here but if you were talking about "my over self righteous way", then I don't think I owe you any apology cheesy cheesy cheesy I once wrote about how kind and nice people are in this city. I wrote about how I initially thought they were pretending and faking it all cos I wasn't used to that kind of stuff... now fast forward, I have made a decision to try my best to be nice and kind too. If it's sometimes uncomfortable for me, I will either be nice or just do nothing instead of saying something worse or making someone feel bad. I have suggested this method, not enforced it.

I'll give you an example, I didn't know how to use a washing machine, dryer, their kind of toaster here, etc. I asked my friends yesterday, they smiled and told me all about it in the nicest way possible. Imagine an answer like: What? as old as you are, you can't use a washing Machine? OR something more embarrassing. It could have an effect and make me not want to ask any other questions. You might not know the meaning/effect of genuine kindness and how far it's going to take people in life. Despite all I know, I could make a long list of the most stupid questions I have asked people here and how they have answered me and helped. Without their kindness I would have been lost. After every good deed, I made sure I said thank you in the sincerest way.

I was on skype with a friend of mine in Nigeria yesterday. I unconsciously said something and she said I was forming because I'm now in Yankee. That I was forming accent and trying to oppress her, I should sit down in one place because I'm not the first to travel. I just laughed at her mindset. I didn't even know my accent changed when I said the thing until she drew my attention to it. To those people with this kind of "hating" mindset, I just feel sorry for you. I repeat myself so many times that I have to even make gestures with my hands, spell, or write for these white people to understand me here. It's simple... if you don't try to speak like them, they won't understand you. One guy introduced himself: "Hi, I'm Hunter". omo, I said "ehn?" like 8 times and I didn't even understand him until he spelled it. I also asked another guy for "Water", It was until I wrote it on paper that he understood what I was saying. As they say: fake it till you get it.

We need to open our minds in order to progress. If I start, I won't finish. I'll just let it slide. Some Nigerians will see ordinary car as luxury when it's a necessity, upload a picture of yourself/you and your friends in a restaurant trying something new, they'll say you're being proud, showing off and a bucketload of other nonsense. You'll see people hating on others for trying to change their pronunciation and accent... something they need in order to survive here or anywhere else. It's just a shame.

If me suggesting kindness and open-mindedness dey vex you, lol. O ga gan. You don't know who's on the other side of the computer. Some people will come here to ask questions, you don't know how old they are, their status and level and what they can do for you in future, You carry hand and write nonsense to them and then when you meet in future in this small world and they show you shege, you will cry foul. I'll keep writing about my experience and suggestions cheesy cheesy cheesy Those who like it, like it. Those who do not, do not.
I love you already lol

Last week as i was about to go to sleep, i lay on my bed and the Lord opened my eyes to see a purple colored umbrella suspended in the air, just above my head.
And then i saw the images of angels in my room and there was this great feeling of peace in my soul as i dozed off.

The Lord protects His own and He watches over us all.
I pray this month, may His protection be over us and our families as we draw nearer towards the end of the year. No one shall die, we shall live to see this year's end and Goodness and Mercy shall follow us everywhere we go in Jesus Name.. Amen
Good morning charly, please I sent you a mail. God bless you.

Mine is that there is no semester that comes with out me failing either two courses or one or three. My confidence has really gone down. It's not as if I don't read my books. Now I'm left with a 3rd class. I don't know if school is meant for everyone Shaa. Though I'm terribly depressed.

If u have a BSC there is a route for accelerated nursing but it has some strict requirements in terms of courses u should have taken before and level of gpa

If u can't meet that then u can apply for nursing using both your waec and bsc. Since you are starting from bsc again then the requirements is not as strict and they will evaluate based on that and give u admission or not ......

the only thing is u will put in extra effort to convince a VO why u want anothee Bsc . Its might be hard but it is doable as some have gotten visa so prepare well to articulate why u want to do nursing
Thanks a lot. My gp is low. Can I use my waec maybe write SAT in order to process my admission? Maybe go in as some one that never has a bsc.
