I feel so old right now. I must have been 8 in 1996 when sooting won the local league, I was 9 in 1997 when they played against Zamalek in the finals. I remember watching all that stuff on NTA and BSOS, I still remember Fata Ogundeji, Feyi Ogunduyile, and all those sport reporters back then. I had a female relative (I think she was my mother's cousin). I always stayed up at till 2/3am to watch games with her, she must have been my first older crush.

I remember the finals and how 3SC lost the penalties, I think Baruwa missed a kick too. I also remember the Patricks, sooting had about 3 patricks at that time if I'm not mistaken, Patrick Pascal, Patrick Mancha(sp?) and one other Patrick I can't remember.
