Van snickers: If i don't love God, what happens?! Will he force me to?
That means you are a sinner and guilty of the greatest sin.

O Lawd! You buy the ready-made stew in a glass jar or from an African restaurant? Lolz. Stew is so easy to make. Lolz.
the one in glass jar embarassed. That's why I rarely cook only in some weekends because my food are less nutritious than what I eat outside,I lack the patience and creativity to cook with varieties of ingredient like mamacita's noodle.Lol
Btw, how are you feeling now? I check that zumunta association website, why u come join me with the north na? I am from middlebelt and we are more close to the igbo's than northerners.

Yvete: Get well soon Uncle-Nice. Been sick for some days too
Thanks yvete, I am getting better now.the problem is that I used to be an ulcer patient and was placed on medication, the doctor told me to take the drug three times a day as though my life depends on it.After a few days I abandon the drug and have been fine since then, I might go to the hospital again if it persist.
Hope you are fine now too?

What kind of pains do you experience because for me, each time I eat beans before now, I usually have heart burn however, thank God for one of my friends who gave me a practical solution. He suggested that once the beans is boiled to some extent, I should strain the water and rinse the beans again as the 1st water is usually acidic and since I started doing that, no more heart burn cheesy cheesy cheesy.
Mine is not heartburn it's like ulcer kind of pain, the pain is in my stomach perhaps it's the acid in d beans that triggered it smiley so your suggestion might work but I am not sure i want to risk it again, I will go with mamacitas option of not eating beans alone. Next time eat rice with just a little beans just that beans is d easiest food I can cook. Lol

Bro,sad to say but u r so uncouth nd hv lil or no regard for women...see d way u r trading words online wit a woman..where is ur dignity??...d gal aired her view...its hers nd hers alone..not for u to try nd force ur own view down her throat...most decent gals I know don't follow a guy cos of financial wealth...there are still decent, beautiful nd intelligent gals that will rather make it with their guys than marry a made man..a woman basically wants trust,a confidant nd a real man..moreover 98% of made men are arrogant nd pompous..pray tell which decent gal wants such a man for a life partner?...free d gal abeg.
That guy is a low life, lets assume he has money in real life because am sure he is a poor guy trying desperately to get rich , with the way he talks online I am 100% sure he can't get a beautiful and intelligent girl even with all d money in d world. Mtchew

Is that going to be in LA?
Well, you're invited to join Zumunta Association USA. Its a large network for all Northerners and those from the Middle Belt. They have yearly conventions. Check out the California chapter (unless you dislike unnecessary naija affiliations). Lolz
Yvete you are back. Hope your exam went well? The whole nairaland miss you o, good to have u back.
Actually the party is in Oakland not in LA. Also I do not like exclusive Nigerian association for personal reasons. This African party is mixed and will be attend by both white and black alike , we do it every two month and our white and Akata friends love it cos they like African food and culture not just Nigeria.

the guy spoke the truth. no need to be defensive.
if you are having suitors left and right. and have a choice between a financially stable good man or a broke good man. all women in their right senses will choose the good stable guy. this is not rocket science. just common sense.
i'm sure men also will not think twice to choose between a good beautiful girl and a good ugly girl.

There must be one that came first and whom you first agree to go out with and as long you have giving your word to that man nothing should change you.A descent woman should stick to the man that came first in her life irrespective whether he is rich or poor.

Any man that still dates a Nigerian woman should check himself well. Gave up on these bitches a long time ago. Don't come up here to debate with about them. I dated quite a lot of them on my return back home. My conclusion was simple for all of them....money, money, money. Material stuff. These women don't love you. One in particular I will never forget...I was driving my undercover car( kia Rio) the first day I saw her; believe me this girl didn't look at me nor answer my greetings. I'm a handsome guy and very educated. I was surprised and shocked since having lived abroad for yrs where women will typically respond to you and even chat with you and yet respectfully tell you...I'm not interested; which makes sense. Guess what? A week later, I saw her again, now in my Mercedes CLS, see how she approach me with the confidence of a guy, all smiling. I looked at her in disgust....spat on the floor and left. This is not to say that all are like this...No. They are some fine Nigerian women. I would say they account for 5% out 100.

Ended up marrying a Caribbean woman from Barbados. Beautiful woman...money means nothing to her. I never knew life was this sweet...kai kai!
bros you've said it all, the funny thing is that most Nigerian men are not materialistic when it comes to chosen a wife or girlfriend and it baffles me where most of our ladies learned this terrible craving for material wealth. Most are not willing to work hard but are just opportunist looking for whom to devour. Both home and abroad most of them are the same, I live in California and it pains me to see that great Nigerian guys doing very well professionally here all have similar complain about our women.Honestly there are still left some descent Nigerian girl howbeit the percentage is so insignificant that it is even safer not to look for them. smiley

How are you searching for job? hope you are not just applying on your school website? If you want to work in the library for instance, go there and talk to whoever you'll be working for, make sure you keep going there till they get tired of you and gives you a job.Do not sit in front of your PC and keep waiting for an email or call for interview.Good luck.

HumbledbYGrace: @Nice4life....first of all you mentioned what attracted you to her was her beauty, that's where you got it all twisted. She thought you might have like her personality and stuff not knowing it was just lust.

You exchanged contacts...what was the motive behind? What kinda signal did you give her when you asked for her number? (If you did)

She tells you she is a virgin and had never had a boyfriend before? Well this clearly is just to upgrade her game into liking/loving her. She is too forward, and you don't love her right? Like S'keeto said, return her calls and tell her you don't love her and have no intention whatsover to court her, not now, not ever. She will get hurt but take it from a sister....it gets better with time.
musKeeto: Return her call, and explain to her how you feel. If she can't understand your position, I'm afraid you've got a nutcase on your hand. Run like hell..
Thanks skeeto and humblebygrace. I have told her before during our conversation but she appears to be a very strong and forceful individual. Also I can't tell her I don't love her because that will be too hard and might affect her self esteem. Between love is a choice and it doesn't happen to me by instinct as I have to choose and be convince first before falling in love smiley In this case I withheld my love because I see things can't work out between us and have made her understand this.
