Celebrities / Re: Iyanya To Yvonne Nelson - I Lost Your Medicine by nice4life: 6:22pm On Jun 29, 2013
How about ladies learn to close their legs to guys they are not married to? I feel no pity for her besides she must have chose iyanya over the plethora of nice guys at her disposal. This same iyanya can still get most of the ladies criticizing him here, just look at their concert in yankee it is always full of women, only God knows why most women are naturally attracted to wrong men.Btw the guy sef na short man and must have experinece lots of rejection from women before he became famous so i guess he is paying them back cheesy

Romance / Re: I Am Confused!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i Need Help) by nice4life: 3:36pm On Jun 28, 2013
Enegod: Stop calling someone who never picks up
or takes forever to call you back because
such a person lacks common courtesy, such
a person may be in love with someone
else or simply using you at his or her
convenience.
Stop texting a person who doesn’t reply in
a reasonable amount of time. I know that
person may be claiming that he or she is
ever busy but if that person really loved
you h/she wouldn’t have failed to spare at
least 2 minutes to text you any short
message like I MISS YOU, I LOVE YOU… If
you are in love with such a person just
know h/she has not time for you but has
time to text the other person that he or
she loves and fears to piss and lose. Stop
chasing after someone who doesn’t want
to be caught. Stop caring for someone who
doesn’t appreciate everything you do for
him or her. Stop having hope in someone
who takes you as his or her second option.
I mean that person who is ever interested
in you when he or she is sad, bored or
stressed. Stop pleading and crying for
someone who sees no value in your tears.
Seriously you deserve someone who gladly
picks up when you call with much need of
hearing his or her voice, someone who
replies promptly to your texts and treats
you with common decency, someone who
appreciates everything you do for him or
her, someone who fears to lose you just
like the way you do, someone who takes
you as his or her priority....
You have said it all
Religion / Re: How I Murdered The 5 Argument That Killed Atheism by nice4life: 6:58am On Jun 28, 2013
noetic16:

That was one long and SENSELESS post.

1. The OP referred to an instance whereby for example Mr A goes to bed and has a dream. In that dream, he,
a. walks into a street called "pity street"
b. is approached by a white man named Kevin
c. Kevin is in a blue suit
d. Kevin spoke to Mr A in a SCOTTISH accent.
e. At the end of that conversation Kevin hands over £20 to Mr A.

Mr A wakes up and realises that he has been dreaming. On a sober reflection of the dream, he also acknowledges that
a. He does not know any street called pity street.
b. He has no friend by the name Kevin who has a Scottish accent.
c. He does not know why anyone would hand over £20 to anyone. Hence, Mr A dismisses this dream.

72 hours later, Mr A finds himself stranded on pity street after his bus (mode of public transport) journey is terminated. London bus drivers are on strike from 6pm. There is no way for him to get home. Out of his predicament, one of the fellow bus riders named Kevin with a scottish accent, gets into a conversation with him. Kevin offers to pay for Mr A's taxi ride back home, Mr A is pleased, hence, £20 is offered and received. Only when he got home did he realize that he had dreamt of this incident 72 hours ago.

The point is
A. The human brain is incapable of conjuring future events. Hence your instance of imagination propelling such dreams is rather POINTLESS.
B. People dying in sleep in yoruba land has nothing to do with the potency of dreams coming to pass. are you educated at all?
C. The dream in the above example is a message, that eventually comes to pass. The message could only have come from someone capable of knowing the future. This is an accurate description of God. In lieu of this, the OP submits that dreams serve as a plausible evidence for the existence of God.

You are IGNORANT. For you to say that there is no such thing as Deja vu, you simply killed the argument with your intellectual incapacity. Go do some further reading and then come back.

This is quite MISLEADING and exposes a deep rooted ignorance in you. Abrahamic faiths (Christianity in particular) does not negate science, unless of course you dont know the meaning of science.

You made no SENSE.

Your Dads sperm and mum's egg created you, Fine. What/who created the first living person?

@ Mr. Nice: I respect you. You're forgiving and don't seem to hold a grudge. With love comes forgiveness. However it turns out, it's all good.
Whenever you decide to open your own Church, you got one founding member here - Yvete! I may not be good in singing praises, but I worship and pray "in the Spirit" ... cheesy Lolz
well I trust she can't lie to me otherwise it would have been an everlasting grudge.lolz
You're in the spirit o, I already have a church called "church in the house christian center" but I attend the church on certain Sundays only till am able to get more members because right now i'm the only member cheesy

Yvete: Anxiety is keeping me up at night. cry At 6am, this verse from Philippians comes to mind ...

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus".
I can be very anxious sometimes too, I struggled with anxiety expecially during my graduate skool days.Sometimes it can be be difficult to lean on those scriptures that gives you hope when you're overwhelm with uncertainty. The secret to overcoming anxieting lies in complete trust in the word of God, just believe that no matter the situation He is in control, He will never let you down, your expectation shall never be cut-off , He will not suffer your feet to be moved, you'll see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I can go on and on, just hold on to all these words and more and you'll gradually overcome anxiety. The word of God are for your mind because as long as you're serving God the end will always be fine so the fear/anxiety is just mirage that keeps us from the joy of the Lord.Don't worry everything we'll be fine.

Mehn, Nice be intimidating us with food. I ate out at Dave and Busters last night. My food was almost finished when I remembered to show off to Uncle-Nice! tongue Hehe ... Next time you visit a Caribbean Restaurant, order their Jamaican Oxtail over rice and Plantains... YUM! Tastes like heaven, my FI loves it. I like Jamaican patties (meat-pie).
I'll try the Jamaican Oxtail next time, but their food expensive o , $40 I spent for my lunch alone. So I only go there once in a while, the next might be when my madam at the top visit smiley But wait o, only you consume all those variety of food in this pics, hmmn I now know the answer to your weight loss question. Actually you've been loosing and adding weight at the same time, just that the rate of adding exceed the rate of loosing and that explain the excess 12kg you're talking about grin

mamacita is right on this one, strictly by i.v invite no dey work for naija in fact why u want waste your time print i.v? I.v is just courtesy because u already have a full house without iv.Lol
Personally I will prefer yankee wedding but that wont be possible if you have a lot of family and extended family in naija that need to be at your wedding. Cost of transporting just 5 persons to yankee can cover the food cost grin so do the maths, that the prize we have to pay for being Nigerian but chose to live in a foreign land.lol

Mamacita sure u saw my reply, how are u feeling now? Can you eat anything now?

Its not a bad thing na,but most people dream of nysc because it offers them the opportunity to get a dream job or a dream spouse and yvete is not looking for this things at least not in naija grin grin grin Just think about it sha so u don't complicate things for urself, everything have a season and if its ur season to serve ur father land who am I to say no smiley

You're discouraging me! I'm scared. I'm going to be there for the 3 weeks camp and return to the US. Did you serve?
yes I did, that was because I didn't have the choice as i was still processing my admission.I'm not discouraging you, just do not want u to stress urself unnecessarily for something that doesn't matter to your life now.If it because of the future you can leave it till then except if you're planning on relocating back to naija very soon.
If you plan to spend only 3 weeks then its not that bad, it just like a vacation to naija but this time you spend the vacation in nysc orientation camp. grin
NYSC / Re: NYSC 2013 Batch C Corp Members House by nice4life: 6:54pm On Jun 06, 2013
Yvete: Quick questions. I'm quite ignorant with this NYSC thing and the website doesn't say much about batch C or if there's a batch D. From the NYSC website-
Special Note:
Registration of foreign-trained graduates commences on 8th April and closes on 7th June 2013
Registration is not done by proxy. All prospective Corps Members must therefore appear physically at the Evaluation Division of the Corps mobilization Department for registration.

Please guys, when is the registration period for Batch C - Foreign trained graduates? This is clearly stated, but has anyone tried to register by proxy? What's the possibility of serving in the Abuja-Nassarawa area? (I'm scared)Thank you!!

For real? I throw way salute o, you want to entangle urself again after being delivered from the dreaded nysc grin
seriously do u need it? Why not wait till when it is certain that u actually need it because u can actually serve anytime, so long as u know the right people this paper/certificate wont stop u from getting any position in naija. My opinion though.
