1. How do I clean my princess tongue? It's getting all white already.
2. How do I clear this rash from her face and neck. I thought of baby tribotan but I fear that at 3weeks she might be to young for it.
Mamas pls come to my aid, I'm not comfortable with these two.

1. This is milk/breast milk residue; You can soak a small ball of cotton wool in a clean lukewarm water and swipe it gently over her tongue. It should clear off but if this does not clear everything, you can buy Moko Glycerin Borax (picture attached), apply small amount on a ball of cotton wool (enough to slightly soak the cotton wool) and gently wipe the baby's tongue.

2. From the picture you posted, the rash does not call for panic or any treatment.
I think it's referred to as " baby acne" which usually clears off on its on within a week or thereabout.
My advice is that you let it be and let the baby's skin breathe.
It will clear-off.

I think babies are supposed to lose a lil weight the first few weeks of birth and then start gaining it back. I was also feeling that my princess was light weight but I got to know that the weight on the scale is what matters and not how the baby feel on ur hands. Above all what matters most is a healthy baby. 1.2kg is a good addition if you ask me.

Do you interchange breast and formula? How frequently does she feed? If she's gaining weight she's fine, don't let the quantity the tin says stress you out. My baby never took more than 180mls of formula even when the tin said he should have moved. To graduate from 150 sef was war. And weight is not our problem. Just feed on demand and monitor her schedule

Continue with the abidec and see if there will be any improvement. However I don't thing there's any cause for alarm , she's gaining weight. The 60ml formula plus breast milk may be just enough for her.

Good day mamas,
Please I will appreciate all you experienced mothers suggestion on what I can do or give my 8 weeks old baby to boost her feeding pattern and weight gain.
I am not lactating well enough to exclusively breastfeed so I substitute mostly with formula (currently on SMA Gold) but she hardly takes more than 60mls per feed which has been her feeding capacity since week 1 of birth (I expect her appetite and consumption to have grown bigger by now).
Although she has gained 1.2kg since birth but still looks very small for her body length/height.
Please don't jump and pass my post as its really beginning to be of strong concern for me.

My prince arrived planet earth on 7th April via Emergency C section after three days of continuous labour and hunger.
I appreciate the Lord God for making me a mother after 5 years of waiting.
For everyone who helped out in one way or the other, I say a very big thank you.
We still need your prayers as I had a severe breakdown but we will survive.

Congratulations to mamas that have delivered, those waddling, God will make it easy for you.

BS might take a while but I will surely give it.

I don't think there is is an English name for it... it cleanse the stomach after childbirth and help in reducing stomach size after child birth... i have seen it work with my fellow wives and friends in the east..you cook it just like pepper soup but theleaf will remainnlike oshuka (aju) inside the pot... you take it with rice, yam or swallow...contact me if you are interested in buying it.
