Hello house.
Please I just made a very careless mistake in my application now.
I uploaded over 30 different supporting documents but in all of them I forgot to upload my husband's (he is the sponsor and the one inviting me and our daughter) passport data-page/ILR permit. I had already clicked on submit before I remembered that I did not add that to the documents submitted.
Kindly advise what I can do to remedy this mistake please. I feel very bad right now. My biometrics appointment is Tuesday 10th.
Thank you.

@ozymes and other gurus please SOS.

Do they stamp refusal on Passport on Schengen visa application or it's just that paper that they mark?
No stamp on their passports

Hello house.
Please I feel so tensed right now. I assisted my sister to put together an application for tourist visa with her daughter. They submitted last week Thursday and exactly a week after, i.e today, she received a text to come for collection.
I feel it is too soon to process visa within 5 working days.
I prayerfully hope I am wrong. sad

You can't quite do that online. Just make sure when do visit VFS, you make them aware it's for a mother and daughter.
Thanks very much.

Goodafternoon Mamas please is there any immunization baby is supposed to take after 12 Months? Please I need replies... Thanks

Thanks for asking this question mama.
I was going to ask same question for 18 months immunization cos my hospital just told me yesterday that all immunizations after one year are optional and not covered for those using HMO.
We have IPV Booster, OPV Booster, DPT Booster and Hepatitis A on our schedule (card) for 18 months.

Sabi mamas should kindly enlighten us.

Thanks

Does anyonelse have access to your appointment page? Maybe the person scheduled and cancelled

Thanks very much for your help. I have been able to reschedule the appointment now. I had to change my password before the side bars (options) came back on though. Thanks again.

If you've cancelled once, you will no longer be able to cancel again and that option to reschedule will no longer be there

Thanks for the information but I haven't cancelled before. Just that it took a while before I could get an appointment date at the initial time.

This might be a little tight. You're gonna spend almost 2000 on just transportation alone. Depending on where you're headed to accommodation could be 100/night , which leaves you with almost nothing. try 3500 to be on the safe side

Thanks very much.

Hello mommas, this is what I've been facing with my DD for over two months now. It started like normal diaper rash and has refused everything I've tried. I've taken her to the hospital twice and she was given medication, it didn't work. Ive used sudocream, baby tribotan, scent leave, abf, mycoten and clotriderm. I don't know what else to do. I need HELP!. If I try to air her bum, she scratches it till it bleeds and it breaks my heart to see her like that. Please mommas help me! cry cry

As someone already suggested, let them run a test to rule out any form of infection and once that is confirmed;

Please stop applying medications as the skin in the area looks too sensitive as it is,
Do away with any form of diaper for now and get her loose pants that you change at each peeing/pooing,
Always wash the area with lukewarm water only without any soap and gently pat-dry the bum after each wash,
No use of sponge in the area for now,
If redness gets too much, lightly apply blue seal Vaseline (not too often though),

In short, let the area breathe

But if lab test confirms infection, then oral antibiotics may be required alongside the above routine.

All the best.

All of a sudden everyone now knows someone that has a NO A0S/EOS Stamp on their Passport...

One of the reasons why I no longer take Nairaland serious...

Why didn't y'all speak out when it started happening?

Well, first off I wasn't quite active on nairaland as at then and secondly I did not (still do not) see it as a big deal cos the intention of their travel was not aimed at extending their stay nor having their status changed while in the US.

It is only those that have undeclared immigration intent that should worry over such.

So clear conscience fears no accusation...

I highly doubt it...

Why don’t you post a picture to support your claims like the previous poster did?

I still maintain my stand that there was absolutely nothing like No AOS/EOS during Former President Barack Obama Term...

Of course there was!

My sister and her 3 kids had this stamped on their passports in 2016.

Hello House.

Please I have 2 questions.

1. In filling the visa application form, is 2,800 CAD okay as total budget for a 1 week trip of a mother and a 2 year old toddler? Note: This will include transport and accommodation.

2. In answering the question "Did you serve in any military, militia or civil defense unit or serve in any security organization or police force (including non obligatory national service, reserve or volunteer unit)", does the one year NYSC programme suffice?

Thank you.

Hello House,
Please in filling the visa application form; kindly advise the amount suitable to quote under "funds available for stay (CAD)" for a 2 week tourist visa for 2 persons (the second person being a toddler of less than 2 years) considering hotel accommodation, feeding and transportation.
Thank you.

you don't need any Canadian visit visa for your child that is a US citizen, You only need to apply for yourself as your child has free access to enter and leave Canada as she or he wishes. That is the power of blue passport against the green passport. Canadians don't need visa as well to enter the US ..both US and Canada have access to more than 172 countries visa free.
Thanks very much.
I appreciate.

Hi all.
I just had my 221g interview also with a rejection.
However, the strange thing with mine was that they didn't even ask for my receipts before giving the rejection.
VO: Hello, passport please
Me: Hello
VO: What are you going to the US for this time
Me: Vacation
VO: Are you married
Me: Yes
VO: Do you have kids and how many ?
Me: I had 3 but one surviving child now
VO: Sorry about that; Tell me more about your last US trip
Me: I traveled to the us January 2018 and came back in March
VO: What for?
Me: To give birth; I wrote a letter to the embassy notifying them of my intent and they gave a go ahead
VO: Can you give me a little more detail about your other international travels
Me: I answered that I have been to the UK, Dubai, UAE, Kenya
VO: Do you have any relatives in the US
Me: No, but I have a friend
VO: Who else is going on this trip with you?
Me: My baby
VO: What do you do?
Me: I work with bla bla as a bla bla. My roles are bla bla
VO: Who will be paying for this trip
Me: Myself
VO: What does your husband do?
Me: My husband does bla bla with bla bla
Vo: When was the last time your husband traveled to the US?
Me: (ERROR! shocked) 2012
VO: Why so long?
Me: Tight schedule and school programme
VO: I am sorry you are not qualified for the visa at this time but you can reapply etc,.
I cut in saying she had not seen my itemized bill and stuffs but she said that I should keep them for future applications.

I feel bad right now. Where others are being rejected on the basis of low bills , mine seems to be the fact that my husband has not been to the US in a while.

All the best to those still awaiting their follow-up interviews.
