Oga, A Pastor is a Counselor.
Kobojunkie:
Did Jesus Christ preach that you should be married at any point to you or anyone? undecided

Why should anyone who claims to be of God preach that lie to you in the name of God? Marrigae is a personal choice for individuals to make of their own, not a mandate of some kind to deceive your lot into growing the Kingdom of these Mogs. undecided

Religion / At 30, You Should Be Married - Akwa Ibom Pastor Explodes On Church Members (vide by Nigerdeltaent(m): 5:35pm On Jul 14, 2021
Family head of Mantle of Life Ministries International, Rev. Akan Itanga exploded on his church members over the weekend on what was titles; Seasons of Life.

The top Akwa Ibom clergy who is also a leader of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Ikot Ekpene chapter took time to deliver a masterpiece of message which turns out to be like a life counseling session for his members.

He highlighted many things youth should have attained before or at 30 and went further to highlight the major hindrances that youths face in their sojourn through life and why they must do their best to avoid such.

The Prophet blamed youths underachievement efforts on too much relaxation and putting much hope on time, which he pointed out that time waits for no one.

Rev. Itanga charged youths to step up their game and be counted among as achieving youths and youthful fathers.

He encouraged young people to marry early and grow in all aspects with their family.

He said, “At 30, you should have been married, so that you can use your days of strength and train your children”.

The Reverend explained.

Politics / Akwa Ibom Governor's Wife Floats Skill Acquisition Scheme For Female Youths(pic) by Nigerdeltaent(m): 1:02pm On Jul 08, 2021
...says over 5000 female youth to be trained and empowered in various fields

Better days ahead for Akwa Ibom State Female Youth as the Wife of Governor, Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel today 6th July, 2021, flagged-off a “Get a Skill Initiative” aimed at training and empowering the younger generation of women with entrepreneurial skills.

The event which held at Ibom Hall, Uyo, with the theme “Building a Sustainable Future through Skill Acquisition,” had over 2000 female youth from the 31 local government areas of the state in attendance.

Speaking shortly after declaring the training programme open, the wife of governor said the skill acquisition which would be done in batches starting nextweek, will train and empower over 5000 young women in various fields and as well showcase their talents to the world.

"Starting next week, we will be training you in batches based on your chosen field. We will not only stop at training you but we will empower you to start life afterwards," said Emmanuel.

She said the female youth occupy an integral part of the society thus, should not give room to be stereotyped as sex slaves or good-for-nothing gender, but should always endeavor to acquire skills that would position them to compete favorably in the society.

Dr. Emmanuel added that the training which will focus on sought-after skills such as fashion design, bead making, Agro-production, ICT, Interior design etc. would afford the young women opportunities to grow in life.

The FEYReP boss also noted that to secure a sustainable future through skill acquisition, it must be weaved round the digital economy which according to her relies greatly on critical thinking, innovation, financial and emotional intelligence and creativity.

“This “Get a Skill Initiative” is in line with our mission to promote skill-based tutoring and entrepreneurship for our future mothers who in turn will create jobs that will drive economic growth, innovation, improve social conditions and address social and environmental challenges in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda,” she remarked.

Speaking further, First lady Martha Emmanuel encouraged the young women to take advantage of the training and stated that , “It has always been the desire of the Governor and i to leave Akwa Ibom Youth better than we met them in 2015.”

Earlier, the National President of Akwa Ibom State Female Youth, Comrade Esther Nta, in her remarks appreciated the efforts of the governor’s wife at building capacity for the young females in the state, saying the “Get a Skill Initiative” was another milestone in history of youth development in the state.

There were top notch business lectures on “How to Grow Business” by Pharmacist Ime Obot, “Self Worth, Value and Branding” by Lady Mmanti Umoh and “Business and Entrepreneurial Development ” by Mrs. Itoro Akpama, who all delivered their papers to the delight of the listening audience.

There were also goodwill messages from the Hon. Commissioners for Women Affairs/ Social Welfare, Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport, Dr. Ini Adiakpan and Mr. Akan Okon respectively while Governor’s aides, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Foreign Direct Investments, Mr. Gabriel Ukpe, Senior Special Assistant on Youth Affairs, Mr. Anifiok Iwaudofia and Mr. Ime Uwah of the Marketing and Brand Management also registered their words of goodwill.

Politics / Ekid Youths Cry To Gov. Udom As Insecurity Worsens In Akwa Ibom State by Nigerdeltaent(m): 7:39am On May 03, 2021
Ekid Youths Union cries out to Akwa Ibom State Govt. as Insecurity becomes severe
As an organization, we’ strongly condemn on all sides the teeming security crises and security threats unfolding gradually in the state right under the silent and unresponsive watch of the government under Governor Udom Emmanuel.

For over a month now, Akwa Ibom people have had reasons to live life in fear and endless grieve rising from the unanticipated terror that has befallen them. From the essien Udim mayhem on people and security personnels and the careless air action of the military , to the daily burning of police facilities in the state, just recently about two have been burnt in Ika and Ikono and we may not know further plans on where will be next.

As if all of these are not enough, just the previous week, a young Akwa ibom girl , full of life, met her end in the hands of a deadly soul with the name Uduak Frank Akpan, all because she sort of a job and went to have it, right there in the city of Uyo where the seat of government is. After well meaning Nigerian youths and friends had raised consistent alarm on the missing Iniubong Umoren, the culprit was caught by the police and we are yet to know what measure of justice will be netted on such wicked soul.

With all these recent happenings, Ekid Youths Union which represents the voice of the people, registers her displeasure and disappointment yet again in the state governor and the government, for remaining quiet and silent on all of these life threatening issues in the state. As such we call on the state government to react and respond to the state of Insecurities in Akwa Ibom state with immediate effect. And in respect to that, we charge the governor to assemble all it's security Agencies immediately for a quick security meeting, get security operatives armed and on alert to fight against any form of violence and to bring all orchestrators of terror, mayhem and death on innocent Akwa Ibom people to the face of justice.

EYU is watching the government closely and we don’t ever want to hear that any community in Ekid nation is affected by any of these happenings. Our reactions may shut down the boarders of this state and we are serious about it.

Let this get to the governor.

Zombies are the problems of these politicians, not the politicians cos these hungry zombies go ahead to defend their asses off no matter how stupid they themselves will look doing the job.

Politics / Ekid Youths Call Out Gov. Udom On The State Of Roads In Eket by Nigerdeltaent(m): 10:39am On Apr 26, 2021
PRESS RELEASE

AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNMENT SHOULD TAKE EKET ROADS SERIOUSLY.

We have as a youth organization operating in Eket and Esit Eket local governments of Akwa Ibom state for all Ekid speaking people, noticed the cruel abandonment of internal roads in Eket local government by the state government under Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

It is only but a sad sight to behold that a once glorious land with a seriously teeming population of residents, has been left in the shackles of careless and slow developmental pace by the state government, thereby allowing the people to the fate of managing life when the government they voted can actually make it better for them.

Just a few months ago the Eket local government chairman started and completed some intervention works on seriously bad roads in Eket which could only last usage for just the few months it did. As we speak intelligence and our eye witnesses have reported the poor and gradually deplorable state of the Idua By All weather road that was part of the intervention and many other roads. This simply means there was no standard and sustainable  construction of those roads.

The union reminds the government of her duties of Catering and protecting the wellbeing of her people and demand that the deplorable state of major and internal roads in Eket be given quick attention as soon as possible..Roads have remained bad in Eket for years. We don't want to count the Atabong road that has remained a practical lab for more than 4 years, hospital road, Liverpool road and many other internal roads.

Eket is both a major local government and an oil host community, the allocations, the royalties, the derivative funds, the generated revenue (this we shall talk about soon) are all enough to drive the needed changes in this area.

Uju!

The redemption of the Ekid people and nation : The beautiful emergence of the Ekid Youths Union(EYU)

The Ekid youths union is a non partisan youths Advocacy, and socio cultural organization of all youths from Ekid nation of Akwa Ibom state, set out to become a foremost youth Advocacy organization in Ekid land and the nation at large, rightly engaging leadership, legally questioning policies of government and advancing the political, social and economical progress of our land.

We are set out to be a leading voice, for the Ekid people. To rightly advocate through all legal and constitutional means to ensure the rights, privileges and welfare of Ekid people are protected and enhanced peacefully.

An idea whose time has come, cannot be stopped.
The story of the marginalization, oppression and gradual detoriation of the Ekid nation comprising of Eket local government and Esit Ekid local government areas, of Akwa Ibom state, is one that has left just many generations of sons and daughters wondering and asking a lot of questions too.
A land blessed by God, attractive to men, promising with resources and a beautiful people, once upon a time the target destination for every visitor, the wish of all those who couldn't come to visit, and the dream of investors and multinationals, soon became a nation of wastes, political manipulations, lies and direct destruction of better livelihood of the people. Everything that made Ekid what it used to be has been lost.

Sadly, all of these happen when almost everyone has chosen to take political sides, both old and young, hence the deliberate refusal to or reluctance to consciously resist the activities of selling off who we are and what our land is. From the exploitation of our people by operating oil companies, to the outright abandonment of Ekid nation and the complete redicule that our land has been put to, through the lack of basic social amenities.

These are the backgrounds to the founding of the Ekid Youths Union.
We admonish all sons and daughters of the Ekid nation (Eket and Esit Eket) to take up this opportunity to join in the focused struggle for a better Ekid.

Uju!

Politics / Nigerian-Born Pastor in US blesses Distressed Taxi Driver with Brand New Car by Nigerdeltaent(m): 5:05pm On Feb 11, 2021
~ Anthony Gregory AG

February 10, 2021 will live long in the annals of Mr. Ifeanyi Agbo, a taxi driver, in Enugu State. A man who lost his wife, and three children in a fatal accident, in one day, six years ago. Devastated. Heartbreaking. Deplorable.

When this was brought to the knowledge of Pastor Ety Isaiah last year, he shedded tears, and swung into action. Yesterday, this driver from Achi, Enugu, who recently got married to start his life all over again, was shocked to the marrow when he got a car gift from the great man of God.

The utility vehicle which is a 2013 Toyota Corolla, will boost the man's source of income, so as to enable him provide for his pregnant wife - who is set to deliver anytime soon, and help to put food on the table of the Agbo's family.

When asked about the life and character of Mr. Agbo, to warrant such a blessing, Community members testified to the humility and honesty of the man. Mr. Agbo equally promised to live right, and not steal, nor rob anyone to be rich, even as he expressed his gratitude, and prayed God blessings upon him.

At the time of writing this report, this writer had to quiz this GREAT PHILANTHROPIST - Ety Isaiah Pastor, and he was in tears of joy for Mr. Agbo. Hear him; "I was moved by God to help him with something that will provide a steady means of livelihood."

WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS PASTOR ETY?

MAY GOD BLESS AND ENLARGE YOUR COAST, THE MILK OF KINDNESS TO HUMANITY!
