I just did 2 plots of land ( on proxy), so the cost might have been inflated. It’s gonna be expensive but I ask, is your area that prone to theft that you want to fence palm trees?
I rather buy land in area that I wouldn’t spend money fencing palm trees . Stealing palm products is not like stealing animals and other crops

Guess what? That’s an incentive, human are human, been free does not translate everyone go for it. Most of you when you live there would like to drive your own car despite this. In my state it’s absolutely almost nothing for a day ride but you would see majority of the occupants are homeless, waste a lot of your time too. Where I live, it’s far from the areas you can farm. Their farms are very big and that instead of small farm you bettter get a paid job. The regulations are tough also. Some farmers inherited it from family.
