Following recent revelations of a member of this great forum, of being scammed by PT consult, i'd suggest we take immediate actions to protect the integrity of this forum in the face of imminent dangers.

To this end, i'm calling on every one with the dude's contact to pls reveal it here so we can take appropriate measures to track him down

Been out of town for a bit, could you please tell us exactly what happened? and to who? We really need the details - that way we can work something out immediately.

@poster: how do we trust u considering d fact that u got registered d day d alleged fraud was revealed? U cud be ptconsult for all i care.

It's been obvious ever since as he everly remains unreachable on phone, with lot's of excuses from uploading to providing info.

Even the customer who bought my '08 FX35 also complained about him to me as he almost fell victim to his EX35 posted.

He has been on nairaland with different usernames. I'll search and paste them soon.
You'll understand better if you've spoken and met with him.

If there is a person who has been duped on nairaland.com by Ptconsult, let that person speak up. That is the same way some freak almost ruined German007's image here.

Im not in support of this. What "recent revelations" is the poster even talking about?, has anyone reported an actual transaction between his/her self and Ptconsult? IF NOT then I suggest people like Police001 should stop posting trash like this.

I feel you on this BUT what if he has never gotten any deals on nairaland? I know I have called once from the states and I spoke with someone who told me the vehicle I was interested in has not yet been shipped to Nigeria, later I saw the vehicle advertised on nairaland as just arrived - which makes sense to me.

My issue is this; there are business people who dont trust their relations or anyone in Nigeria and would rather you contact them overseas directly - especially IF it involves weights like this.

Beecrofty - has anyone paid this man?, has anyone been duped by him? IF NOT I dont see this as anything else BUT a way to ruin the man's image by a misfit. Simple question - "Police"001 said he was referring to "Recent" "Revelations" - are you aware of any posts to that effect? was there even any posts to that effect?

He has also been labeled on nairalist as a fraudster.

This is from the last page on the thread, that was the last post from Rawe45 on that thread.

It will be very unfair to us all IF Rawe45 did not get his car AND did not alert us all. In the absence of that, is it right for any of us to say he scammed Rawe45 or any other person? Layzie, Freshmoney do we have any proof? where is Rawe45? Are you sure he is not driving the car around now?

of course those are on the thread but not d last. D last is bafams wailing for his car 2 be delivered and no response from pt, rawe & yemiking, methinks they're one and d same person. Why? All d cars ptconsult have ever sold were bought by one person, rawe45!

I just asked for Bafams to provide some details on that other thread;

1. Phone number he has been reaching PT Consult on locally
2. Bank account number he paid into

If he can quickly give us this, then I can help by personally taking this details to the Police first thing in the morning, as long as he can come in person and we follow this scammer up (IF HE IS) and have him traced.

The problem is that with Internet we just are limited to determining who or what is real and not.

I can only think of ONE solution; a seperate and different Nairaland.com account for Sellers; which will entail a bank account to be verified and confirmed - all transactions should then be done via that account. I cant even think of any other thing to prevent such people.

BUT the Bafams guy that will pay NGN500,000.00 to someone over a car without seeing the person? or at least know where to hook up with the person? Are we sure there is a Bafams?

Bafams made a very big mistake (IF Indeed this really went down)

If you go to Berger that particular model is everywhere and you will be confused on which to choose from, and the wasteful part is that they are even cheaper than the price posted.

He needs to let us know how we can help him out IF the situation is still the same.

Internet has made room for a lot of crap. Its a global thing, not just here in Nigeria (Very disappointing IF it happened that way) - Even on eBay and online stors in the US, Ive had bad experiences ordering through some folks on nairaland.com and you find out that they received the fake items from the online dealers

I think the poor dude was so shocked that he lost interest in the forum, u cud feel d anguish & helplessness in his last post. I just wish he wud come up and update us.

Onwan, i disagree totally,  Police is not an As.swipe.

I am only interested in the topic due to my ex-friends involvement. rawe is my friend, this same Honda Accord caused us to part ways, sad as it is.

The story is a sad one and i believe it needs looking into. I have been wondering why my friend wouldn't be online to confirm the facts that he got his car, even on facebook he never mentioned anything as that. when he got his first car, it was all over facebook, when he paid PTC, same thing,  i knew because he made statements on fb concerning the arrival but after that he never said anything. Why i am curious is because, rawe has changed his nairaland user-name and also he is online as we talk on the other username,   please ponder on this, and tell me why he his not on his usual id, and not saying a thing about this deal gone bad.

Also tell me, if it were you, would you run away after days of people calling you a Scam/fraudster? why has PTC disappeared without disclaiming all this alleged claims.

PS:   its a logical thing.

Meanwhile, i still believe no one has been scammed,    because rawe claimed he got his car,

Beecrofty has confirmed on the original thread that there actually is a Rawe45 and he is different from PT Consult. Its now up to Rawe45 or Beecrofty to help us out by actually confirming IF Rawe45 got this car or not.

IF he did not, then there is a lot we can do here like getting the bank info he paid with to the Police for immediate action.

Concerning the Police001 person; IF it happens that its any of Rawe or Bafam then they are being very unfair to us all. Its always better to come correct so we can meet in real life at a Police station and get this thing sorted appropriately.

Since you have some sort of closeness/relationship with Rawe45, then its only proper you declare facts like letting us know IF for real he was scammed or not.

Anyone can price cars as many times as they want - It does not show IF the person is a ready buyer or just making out a budget for the Auto.

Please confirm to us (IF YOU CAN) the status of the transaction. We can take up the case Asap.

Yes there is a rawe, and i doubt if it is same as PTC.

I am still finding it difficult to believe, since he decided he doesn't want anything to do with me anymore, i don't think i can find out about him getting his car though i called a close pal of ours whom should know or have seen the car, he also said he hasn't seen the car neither has he seen pictures of it,   i had believed all along that rawe got his car, but it was difficult to believe he wouldn't post a picture of it on here neither did he do same on fb even at that i still want to believe he got his car,

Just to help, i will try hard to confirm the claims though,   No matter what, he is still my friend and i would not be glad to know PTC did him wrong,  in fact it would make me sad cos i know what hardship we went through in school and how difficult it was to make our money,

   

Well, it all still shows no proof anyone was scammed.
