Naira Economist https://nairaeconomist.com/2023/10/28/46-3-christians-46-2-muslims-in-nigeria-wce/
Figures in the most recent edition of The World Christian Encyclopedia (Johnson and Zurlo 2020) draw on figures assembled and updated as part of the World Christian Database (WCD); these put those who identify as Christians at 46.3%, and Muslims at 46.2 and ‘ethnic religions’ at 7.2%. WCD figures predict that both Muslims and Christians will continue to grow as a proportion of the population through to 2050.
Their projections predict Christians at that point will make up on 48% of the population and Muslims at 48.7%, both growing at the expense of ethnic religions, down to 2.9% of the population.
Nigeria has some of the largest Christian and muslim populations in the world simultaneously. It is the largest Christian population in Africa and the 6th largest in the world. The World Fact Book reported muslim populations to be about 48% of the country as of 2021.
The last Religious Demographics carried out in Nigeria was in 1963. It then reported 41% muslims, 33% Christians and 26% pagans and traditionalists. Today about 13.0% of the population report Catholic; 36% Protestant; 48% muslim, and 3% others. The population is estimated at about 210 million in 2023. |

Politics › Hard Facts About Bola Ahmed Tinubu For The Supreme Court by NigerianAngelo(op): 12:31pm On Oct 24, 2023*. Modified: 2:41pm On Oct 24, 2023 |
HARD FACTS ABOUT BOLA AHMED TINUBU FOR THE SUPREME COURT
1.) Bola Ahmed Tinubu was actually born as Amoda Ogunlere in a Village called Iragbiji, in Osun State. He grew up as a street boy in Ibadan and shuttles in and out of Lagos.
2.) He engaged in identity theft and adopted Bola A. Tinubu, the name of his female identity theft victim, as his new name.
3.) He got hold of his victim’s Cambridge GCE A’Level certificate through her family member and travelled to the USA with the stolen identity.
4.)The Cambridge GCE A’Level examination in Tinubu’s possession used to be called “IJMB”. It was designed deliberately by the British mainly for northern students who were finding the regular GCE A’Level examinations too difficult. Southerners write the regular GCE A’Level examinations conducted by WAEC.
5.) Armed with the A’Level result, Tinubu sought admission into Richard Dailey College (also known as South West College, in Chicago, USA).
6.) His admission required him to present his O’Level result but because he did not have his identity theft victim’s O’Level results, he created the imaginary Government College, Lagos as the school that he attended and sat for his O’Level exams in 1970. The school was actually established in 1973.
7.) Tinubu was nonetheless admitted into the Richard Dailey College because the American Education System operates on the basis of Cumulative Credit Hours, which means you can be admitted into a College and continue to write other related subjects to correct your entry qualification deficiency before graduation.
8.) Tinubu later transferred from Richard Dailey College to CSU. Based on the documents released by the CSU, it is only the Admission Letter (Exhibit CSU 0020) and the Students Registration Letter (Exhibit CSU 0025) that referred to him as “Mr. Tinubu”. In both letters, the “Mr. Tinubu” phrase and his residential address were superimposed on the letters, with obvious differences in words placement and alignment, character and fonts, and alphabet size. In one of the letters, his name and address were even handwritten.
9.) While it is true that Tinubu attended the CSU, he did not graduate because the CSU informed him in June 1979 that he cannot graduate without passing 3 outstanding mandatory courses - Math 101 & 104; and ENG 222 (Exhibit CSU 0026). Also, there is no transcript evidence from CSU to confirm or show that Tinubu passed these 3 courses. The Transcript showed that Tinubu failed these courses. That is why he didn’t graduate and that is why CSU never graduated him or gave him a graduation certificate. He did not Graduate because he never took his “Carry Over” courses. CSU further confirms they never issued Tinubu any Certificate and did not give him the certificate he submitted to INEC.
10.) His failure to graduate from CSU was what motivated him to print his own “oluwole” (Fake) Diploma that he submitted to INEC. The question is- why would anyone submit a forged diploma to INEC when he or she can get the genuine version within 24 hours of requesting for it from CSU. And up until today, he still has not requested for the ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE from CSU but has continued to use the fake one which CSU stated did not come from them.
11.) Also, the supposed Classmate of Tinubu that claimed Tinubu contested with him for the presidency of the CSU Accounting Students Association clearly protected himself under oath by limiting his deposition to Tinubu’s ATTENDANCE at CSU, avoiding any mention of GRADUATION. He surely knows the implication of lying on oath, so he refused to speak on Graduation.
12.) The above revelations are the reasons why Tinubu has been juggling his academic records in a bid to hide the identity theft and his non-graduation. |

Career › The Importance Of The Macro-Environment To A Business - Nairaeconomist by NigerianAngelo(op): 1:50pm On Oct 21, 2023*. Modified: 4:39pm On Oct 21, 2023 |
https://nairaeconomist.com/2023/10/21/the-importance-of-macro-environment-to-a-business-steps-to-take/
Nigeria is developing. Slowly but steadily. The factors that were prevalent 20, 40 or 60 years ago are generally on the low in the continent. Three coups recently happened in Africa without wars and counter-retaliations. Generally wars are on the low on the African continent, compared to twenty or thirty years ago in the decades that succeeded independence. The current young generation is a different generation — it has self-learned to efficiency, and maybe in some cases to perfection.
Next Self-learning: The Importance of the Macro-Environment
The former Nigerian or African generation used to say that what Government does doesn’t concern them. Recent happenings pulled the 95% inactive young into Politics. It taught them that all Government does, is their income, business and investment. The Macro-environment is the country. You cannot be bigger than the country in which you are. You can only attain to 100% efficiency of what is currently offered to you. The first is your macro environment, the later is your micro environment.
Illustrations
Suppose your potentials and the ambitions of your firm dictated a network of 45 million customers and $14 billion in annual revenues, that will be your macro environment. But if current dispensations dictated a possibility of only 35 million customers and $1.4 billion in revenues (perhaps due to bottlenecks, lack of awareness among the populace, or lower Social education on the immediate needs of your products), the later will be your micro-environment.
You could attain to just 17.5 million and $700 million of the Micro Environment figure — that will be your Management Efficiency (50%). You could attain to 26.25 million customers and $1.05 billion. A 75% Managerial efficiency. But you cannot cross the 35 million customers and $1.4 billion annual figures offered by your Micro environment, even at full potential. To do this you will have to affect the Macro Environment: the Government.
Affecting Your Macro Environment
To optimise your Macro Environment, you first have to believe that at least 25% of it is within your immediate power and that it is your duty (that cannot be outsourced) to annually optimise that 25%.
You could also take Index examples from at least one or two leading countries. In the US, about 100% of the working population (18-64) voted in the November 2020 elections. Voting therefore should be seen as a Business function. The consequence for absenteeism is loss, that should be thrice corrected (in macro manners) by other means as soon as possible.
In What Consists the Macro Environment
What constitutes the Macro Environment? The Demographics; The Government in Power; The Cultural Prevalence (right or wrong); The Regional and National Literacies; Technology; and The Entrepreneurial Macro-Structures available.
How To Affect The Macro Environment?
1. A Businessman must actively look out for, and liberally sponsor qualified candidates of his choice. He must encourage them. He shouldn’t look at this as an expense but as an annual investment to his own income returns and savings. 2. He should donate to Political parties that serve his interests. He should actively look for their account details. 3. He actively search for and encourage persons whom he thinks fit, for office. 4. He should register with a Political party he sees as best business friendly. This will help him stay abreast on issues of his relevance and activity ready. 5. He should sponsor charities, causes and non-profit activities around his direct business environment. It does not matter if he is small or medium. He should extend a hand to causes he can list out and annually. 6. He should annually spend on educating himself (and family) on technology and other improvements. He could spent little more on travels, readings and on educating another. These will help better his Macro Environment, himself (and dependents) being a unit or two in his controllable Macro Environment.

Politics › Opinion: Nigeria Should Divide Along FCT, Move Religious Demographics by NigerianAngelo(op): 1:36pm On Oct 20, 2023*. Modified: 2:04pm On Oct 20, 2023 |
"What concord hath the faithful with the unbeliever?" (2 Cor 6:15)
Opinion: Nigeria Should Divide Along The Federal Capital Territory, Translate the Religious Demographics
1. There are provisions for division in the Constitution. It is quite obvious that what was keeping Nigeria together was Christian majority and Christian rule. Wikipedia most recently put muslim numbers at 47%-49% in Nigeria (Article: Muslims around the World). As muslims manipulated the borders since the wee hours of 2015, they have been importing their people enmasse, and as they have approached 49.9%, the smiles aren't here anymore. It is the same approach: the one that islamised Northern Africa over 500 years (700-1200).
2. The country should divide. The topic is not "non-mainstream". People were created to live to their potentials. To reach their optimum, freely, regularly and in liberty. The current Nigeria isn't one were people are interested in the development of the nation. 98% of interests up North, are just about islamisation, regardless of the hunger they face or their people who die.
3. BBC reported that 30,000 Northerners had AK-47s up North. Thank God they ended up rather staying with them up North. Only a few moved to Niger, and to Benue. Such "potentials" are not good.
4. Many Christians are already becoming weak. The division of the country is only morally right.
Formula for Division
5. A North-South division along the Federal Capital Territory, with mass migration of muslim communities to the North, and all Christian communities to the South.
The Southern Christian Leverage
6. The muslims should not think they can do jack. They should go and ask Buhari why they failed in the islamisation. Christians have the leverage to stop any pensive islamisation, but division is inevitable for legal living.
7. Also Southerners (home and abroad) can sponsor any Division to the fullest, once they publicly agree they want the move/motion.
Problems of Living with Northerners?
8. Poverty. The muslims will place their sheiks in all offices, cause extreme insensitivity and inefficiency and bleed poverty down the line.
9. Prostitution, Scam, Suicides. Problems caused by muslim frustrations and poverty upper up the line.
10. Lies, manoeuvers. Muslims will always lie if the generation is unsuspecting. After keeping quiet for 8 years with Saraki/Lawan, they wanted to claim due process with Akpabio, calling on others to impeach him -- but Christians are wiser and more diligent in the current generation.
11. Killings. We know. But the death of one or potential for death of one man is sufficient to commence and conclude a Division. One man is a great affair.
Conclusion
12. Nigeria should divide along the Federal Capital Territory, and the first step is for the citizens to see it, validate it and accept it as so. |

Source: The Naira Economist: https://nairaeconomist.com/2023/10/09/estimated-gdp-figures-of-the-top-local-governments-in-nigeria-world-bank-nbs/
The following table shows the top 10 richest local government areas (LGAs) in Nigeria in terms of gross domestic product (GDP) for 2023:
Rank LGA State GDP (USD billion) 1 Lagos Island, Lagos 10.5 2 Port Harcourt, Rivers 9.8 3 Ikoyi-Obalende, Lagos 7.5 4 Abuja Municipal, FCT 7.3 5 Eket, Akwa Ibom 6.9 6 Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos 5.8 7 Apapa, Lagos 5.6 8 Lekki, Lagos 5.3 9 Surulere, Lagos 5.2 10 Ikeja, Lagos 5.1
It is important to note that there is no official data on the GDP of LGAs in Nigeria. The above estimates are based on a variety of sources, including the National Bureau of Statistics, the World Bank, and private sector research firms.
The top 10 richest LGAs in Nigeria are all located in major urban areas, with Lagos State accounting for seven of the ten. This is due to the fact that these urban areas are home to a large concentration of businesses and industries.
The GDP of the richest LGA, Lagos Island, is estimated to be over USD 10 billion. This is equivalent to the GDP of a small country, such as the Bahamas or Belize.
The wealth of these LGAs has a number of implications for Nigeria. On the one hand, it provides a significant source of revenue for the government. On the other hand, it highlights the inequality that exists between different parts of the country. |

Business › Six Books That Made Me Six Figures That Aren't About Business At All - Entrepren by NigerianAngelo(op): 9:38am On Oct 06, 2023*. Modified: 10:22am On Oct 06, 2023 |
I stumbled upon these books in my second adventure of entrepreneurship, and they helped me grow my business past six figures. – BY NICOLE BERNARD • NOV 29, 2022 “Mindset”… the new buzzword, kind of like pivot (barf). I was the same way. The daughter of a Marine, born in the early ’80s and the baby of five, I definitely didn’t hear anything about “mindset” as a kid. What I did hear was: “Money doesn’t grow on trees” or “Not now, that’s too expensive.” I didn’t know it at the time, but a lack mentality surrounded me. There was never enough. And, if there was, it would go away sooner rather than later. Feast or famine. Miraculously, my parents put all 5 of us kids through college, and I believed that you go to college, then get a job for the rest of your life. That’s what you do. College, work, pay bills and die. Sadly, that is what happened to my dad, and he was working right up until he passed. Cancer took him so quickly that he didn’t even get a chance to resign. He just took sick days. He was 71, had a C-Level banking career and still struggled financially. Watching him go through that and knowing that he had wanted to retire years earlier but couldn’t spurred me to leave the marketing agency I was at and start my own in 2016. I was scared to dive back into entrepreneurship, but as you probably know by now, entrepreneurship is deep in your bones, something that can’t be shaken, something we continue to do even if (when) it seems crazy. I approached my business similarly to my first, doing all the “things” without a lot of thought, feelings or emotions about what I desired the outcome to be. It was only by accident that I actually stumbled upon “mindset.” Keep reading to learn the three books that helped me to take my business beyond six figures. Book #1 — The Secret I call The Secret the gateway book to mindset. I was introduced to it by a guest on my podcast who was a multimillionaire. What stuck out was what she was going through when she found it. She was struggling financially, single, her kids were young, and she said, “I realized nobody was going to save me, so I had to save myself.” And that is what this book is about — knowing that we can change everything and understanding that we are way more powerful than we realize while being aware that it all starts with us. Our thoughts change our attitudes, which change our behavior, which change our actions, which change our lives. What I love about The Secret is that it is easy to digest and has a variety of people from across the globe that share their experiences with “the secret.” attitudes, which change our behavior, which change our actions, which change our lives. What I love about The Secret is that it is easy to digest and has a variety of people from across the globe that share their experiences with “the secret.” Book #2 — Think and Grow Rich I loved Bob Proctor from The Secret so much, and he constantly talked about Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich, so I read that next! One of the things I love about this book is the origin story… Napoleon Hill was a young, poor reporter assigned to interview the wealthiest man in the United States at the time, Andrew Carnegie. Unbeknownst to Hill, Carnegie searched for someone to interview the most successful people worldwide and document their shared traits. During the interview, he asked Hill if he would do it without pay, and the only thing Carnegie would contribute was the introductions to these successful people. Hill said yes and spent the next 20+ years interviewing people like Henry Ford, Theodore Roosevelt and Alexander Graham Bell. To me, this reinforces the fact that there are so many things going on around us that we don’t even realize until we become aware that they even exist. This book outlines 13 principles these people utilized to achieve enormous success. Book #3 — In Tune with the Infinite Where The Secret made me feel warm and fuzzy, this book made me feel raw and exposed. I started to uncover layers of myself that I didn’t even know were there and didn’t realize needed to be addressed. They say ignorance is bliss, and I was unaware of so much! This was when I started to look at childhood traumas, limiting beliefs and aspects of myself that I did not even know were there. I realized I needed to let go of so many familiar feelings, emotions and behaviors to grow. Sounds simple, right? It is simple, but it isn’t easy. might wonder what these things have to do with running a business. For me, I would make poor decisions in my business based on past experiences and learned behaviors. For example, I would take on a needy client who did not have the budget for my services, but I would agree anyway. This is because of my childhood experiences and my feelings of scarcity. I realized that these underlying patterns were on autopilot, and it took a while to step back and see what was happening. And when I did, things began to change. I attracted clients because I started doing things that felt right. I could focus more because I was cutting out the negative chatter, which led to better results. I was able to gain confidence and clarity about my business. “Success is 95% mindset and 5% strategy.” You can have the best strategies in the world, but if you don’t have the mindset to back them up and align with them, they won’t work. So, while I agree with The Secret’s “Ask, Believe, Receive,” there is more below the surface of those words. You have to dig, get uncomfortable and do things you have never done before to remove the patterns, thoughts and emotions that have been hidden away so that you can genuinely believe that you will receive what you ask (and work) for. Politics › Nigerians Making N430,000 On Average; N340k On Median Basis - NBS, Others by NigerianAngelo(op): 4:31am On Oct 06, 2023 |
ECONOMY | The National Bureau of Statistics reports in its Quarterly publications (Q2 2023) that Nigerians are earning N430,000 per person on average and N340,000 on median basis in 2023.
The average salary takes cognisance of the earnings of the rich and the poor; while the median shows that the 50th percentile workman earns about exactly N340,000 in 2023, with half of the Nigerian population earning less than this amount, and the other half earning more.
Also the combined salary of the lower half is far less that of the upper half, with the bottom 10% of the country estimated to earn about N14,000 monthly. This could be due to severe or lone exploited work. The top 25% are estimated to earn above N2,097,000 on average.
The average salary varies depending on a number of factors, including industry, education level, and experience. The highest-paying industries in Nigeria are oil and gas, financial services, and telecommunications. The highest-paid professionals are typically those with advanced degrees and many years of experience.
The NBS also reports that the minimum wage in Nigeria is 30,000 NGN per month. However, many Nigerians earn less than this amount, particularly those in the informal sector.
It is important to note that the cost of living in Nigeria is relatively high, especially in urban areas. As a result, many Nigerians struggle to make ends meet, even if they are earning the average salary. https://nairaeconomist.com/2023/10/05/nigerians-earning-n340000-on-average-and-on-median-basis-in-2023-nbs/ |

Proven Money Lessons from the Bible
EXCLUSIVE | -- By the work of various authors here are ten proven money lessons from the Bible. The Naira Economist brings you all on income, financial data and the intra-african economy.
1. Live within your means. Proverbs 21:20 says, “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the house of the wise, but a foolish man squanders it.” When you spend more money than you earn, you are setting yourself up for financial trouble. Make a budget and stick to it so that you can live within your means and save money for the future.
2. Pay your debts off quickly. Proverbs 22:7 says, “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” When you have debt, you are paying interest to someone else. This can make it difficult to save money and reach your financial goals. Make a plan to pay off your debt as quickly as possible so that you can be free from financial bondage.
3. Save for the future. Proverbs 21:20 also says, “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the house of the wise.” Having a savings cushion can help you weather unexpected financial setbacks, such as a job loss or medical emergency. Aim to save at least 3-6 months of living expenses in an emergency fund.
4. Invest your money wisely. Proverbs 22:3 says, “The shrewd see danger and avoid it, but the simple go on and suffer the consequences.” When you invest your money, you are putting it to work so that it can grow over time. There are many different investment options available, so do your research and choose investments that are appropriate for your risk tolerance and financial goals.
5. Be generous with your money. Proverbs 11:25 says, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” When you give to others, you are not only helping them, but you are also storing up treasure in heaven (Matthew 6:20). Aim to give a regular portion of your income to charity or to help those in need.
6. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes. Proverbs 13:11 says, “Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money by honest labor makes it grow.” There is no easy way to get rich quick. If someone is promising you high returns with little or no risk, it is probably a scam. Be wary of any investment that sounds too good to be true.
7. Don’t put your trust in money. Matthew 6:24 says, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Money is a tool, but it is not the most important thing in life. Don’t let your pursuit of money come at the expense of your relationships, your health, or your spiritual well-being.
8. Be content with what you have. Hebrews 13:5 says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'” It is easy to fall into the trap of always wanting more. But the truth is that we have everything we need to live a happy and fulfilling life. Be grateful for what you have and don’t compare yourself to others.
9. Teach your children about money. Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” It is important to teach our children about money from a young age. Help them learn how to budget, save, and invest. Talk to them about the importance of generosity and avoiding debt.
10. Trust God to provide for your needs. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” God is our provider. He promises to meet all of our needs, according to his riches and glory. Trust him to take care of you, even when times are tough.
These are just a few of the many money lessons that can be found in the Bible. When we follow God’s wisdom, we can experience financial freedom and peace.
