So you have no intention to repatriate, that's fine. I was just saying what's on ground is impractical even if you did.
MsDarkSkin:

I really don't think we're gonna realise it then if it depends on the deed's accomplishment.
Blyss:

LOL, don't worry about the ways and means, Ace. That's for us to know and for you to realize once the deed is done. wink

And MsDarkskin, I like many a viewer here am not opposed to repatriation as I've informed the thread's author but seeking you're own state "void of Africans" as is frequently expressed is a demand too much and frankly, quite offensive. Peace
MsDarkSkin:

Lol i guess ethiopia is not an african nation. grin

Aas and caribbeans literally signed up for removal of the italians ethiopia and many helped ethiopians fight the italians...that is,why selassie went to jamaica in 1962 and why he invited us and aas to live in ethiopia. Now why didnt many takeup his offer? Trust issues naturally.

The attitudes of many africans have made these "repatriation" efforts in my opinion a waste. No need to be offended its just facts.

Dude, that's the US, other world powers don't mess with 'em so neither can we in issues that aren't life threatening. And I'm not opposed to repatriation but what you're asking for is too much. And how would you generate the funds to even begin dreaming of it.
Blyss:

LOL, yeah.. we are all witnessing how well organized your shallow African regional organizations are right now as the US and France set up shop right in your (Nigeria) back yard via Mali and Niger, after such moves were agreed upon by ECOWAS states to not allow to take place. This is all just talk on my part, but I'm just pointing out just how easily a nation can be cracked out of an agreement in one of these blocks as you call them, but I say loos alliances.

No African country will ever sell off to foreigners. So stay in your rightful homes in America or wherever.
Blyss: I personally know of many well off Black-Americans and Afro-Caribbeans who have stated that they wouldn't mind moving their families and business operations to Africa and this includes me as well, but one major hang up is a strong lack of acceptance to live under African rule. Now you can call this bigoted or hateful in some other fashion, but in all reality the majority of the reasoning expressed in regard to the issue, were not so much bigoted as apposed to being simply being of a mind set of wanting to fully control the surroundings of their operations.

They basically want to gather up a congregation of middle and upper class black diaspora and buy out a large stretch land from, let say Angola or the DR. Congo, with an agreement for the said land to be fully liberated into the control of the group, to stand as their own independent nation, void of any African natives . They'll bring their money, businesses and such to this land and basically turn it into a progressive utopia of their life back in the Americas.

I mentioned this to a few Africans I associate with, and they found this highly offensive, for various reasons. But I'd like to know what you'all think of such a desire or plan.
Culture / Re: Naija's Got Me Hot. by Nigermaurice(m): 3:48am On Feb 23, 2013
And how does it concern you, Westerner?
Blyss: Damn, I don't even know were to start. I've been reading the Nigerian online News reports and all I see is loads and loads, and loads, and loads of articles on how this person and that person has stole some shiat and or cheated somebody out of some shiat. Northern fools blowing fools up, southern fools shooting fools up and chopping off kids heads and shiat. I mean, like a good 85% of the news is focused on instances of mass corruption in the nation and or mass violence incurred most likely via some form of corruption! I'm tired of it! angry

Why in the hell can't them knuckleheads get their shiat together; with all those resources and talents among you folks and that nation still hasn't been developed into being worth a shiat more than providing the west and Asians with some cot damn flucking natural resources, like this is till the cot damn, moththerfuocking colonial days? angry Please, I want to know what the fuock is the cot damn mothafoucking problem with that nation and it people! Dick Akata needs to know!! Don't you know the world is laughing at you fools molesting each other as they go about Molesting you in unison? This is ridiculous, and foucking crime, to have all that free potential and yet not achieve a got damn thing with it! LOSERS is what most folks would call such unproductive people.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not trying to be hateful; I mean, we BA need to step our game up too, though at least we've made extreme progress within the past few decades in getting many of our social ills under control. Though Nigerians as a whole seam like they're making no progress, and in actuality have gone backward. To have what you Nigerian have and not be like a major world power by now is just trifling ridiculous, criminal at worst. angry

All that potential wasted. What a load of Horse shiat!! I cant even joke about this shiat, because it make me too angry to even think about it. What the hell is it gonna take to stop the rampant mass corruption holding that nation back; and save me the bullshit about the government heads doing all the corrupting, because its like a nationally embedded mentality? Not all are mentally corrupt though a pretty damn large bunch are, and there aint not doubt in the fuocking entire universe about that shiat right there. You need like, a national mental cleansing of that whole nation.

Fair enough.
Mrs..Chima:

whether they have the right to return or not...I don't see why would they waste their time and for what?

Just saying.
Culture / Re: Your Thoughts On African Americans Moving Back To Africa. by Nigermaurice(m): 11:39pm On Feb 21, 2013
What do you mean Black Americans have a right of return? no Western culture regardless of who their ancestors were have anything to do in pure Bantu land, and if you're a pure Bantu and would want to displace your own kind to accomodate foreigners then you're a traitor.
Dudu_Negro: I think the topic of a back to africa movement must first concewntrate on the legitimacy of the rights of return. Other issues such as land access and authority are secondary. climatic comforts is a mute point, shouldnt even be a topic for discussion.

the first and most important issue is "DO AFRICAN AMERICANS AND CARRIBEANS HAVE A RIGHT OF RETURN TO AFRICA?"

I vote YES, they do! This does not mean that they will all want to return. I will expantiate on this a little bit.
dont see Haitians, Brazilians, Cubans, Jamaicans, and most of the Carribean blacks uprooting to come and resettle in Africa right away for many reasons but the knowledge that a right of return exist for them and their children brings with it a new sense of security and perspective. A new freedom, physically and particularly spiritually.

For the African Americans, the knowledge that they have a right of return will no doubt create an immediate relief and millions will exercise that right immediately.

The resettlement itself will not be a smooth ride, there will be pains for both indigenes and resettlers but there is a learning curve and a reconciliation period that may span, possibly up to 3 or 4 generations, before the two are reunited into one people again.

Africa has been divided amongst itself for a long time, the return of africans in diaspora could create an involuntary catalyst that will help accelerate a sense of unity, togetherness and common purpose and destiny for the african continent.

Religion / Re: The Trinity:"Holy In.cest" by Nigermaurice(m): 2:43am On Feb 04, 2013
You ask that Christians respect Islam yet you refer to our faith as disgusting based only on your interpretations. Very well. That Mary is the mother of God is a Catholic saying which merely honours the fact that she gave birth to the Christ who we believe was God come as a man.Not that she was the literal mother of God. And how you got the part about the impregnation shows clearly the only thing you seem to know about Christianity is you despise it. I don't wish to antagonise you and if you have any more questions feel free to ask. Again, peace.
LagosShia: so now,we know of the following family members of the christian god:

1.) "son of God"-Jesus
2.) "mother of God"-Mary

the odd thing out there is that Mary is both the "mother of God" and the mother of "his son" (Jesus) !!!!

papa and pikin na brothers!!! that is the incestuos christian concept of god called trinity.God is believed by christians to have impregnated Mary with himself!!!!

so a part or complete part of him was hiding in a virgin's womb.

(may God forgive me for typing this nonsense christians believe in).shame and disgusting.
Islam for Muslims / Re: Tell me why Mohammed married a young Aisha? by Nigermaurice(m): 5:16am On Dec 05, 2012
not the bible though, which alone must be considered according to our faith. Most Christians don't regard apocrypha, which until recently was completely disregarded and much of which was written after the bible's completion. Peace
LagosShia: TURNING THE TABLES ON THE IGNORANT CHRISTIAN MISSIONARIES:

HOW OLD WAS MARY WHEN SHE CONCEIVED MIRACULOUSLY?

Mary was 12 or 13 years old! so says the Catholic Encyclopaedia and the Oxford Dictionary Bible.

source: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15464b.htm

furthermore,Mary (at a tender age) was engaged to Joseph who was at that time 90 years old!!!!

Regarding the Marriage of Mary to Joseph, Catholic Encyclopaedia(http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/08504a.htm), says:

"When forty years of age, Joseph married a woman called Melcha or Escha by some, Salome by others; they lived forty-nine years together and had six children, two daughters and four sons, the youngest of whom was James (the Less, "the Lord's brother"wink. A year after his wife's death, as the priests announced through Judea that they wished to find in the tribe of Juda a respectable man to espouse Mary, then twelve to fourteen years of age, Joseph, who was at the time ninety years old, went up to Jerusalem among the candidates; a miracle manifested the choice God had made of Joseph, and two years later the Annunciation took place."

Note: That article on Catholic Encyclopaedia obtains its information from early Christian writing .
Politics / Re: Olusegun Obasanjo: The Good; The Bad; The Ugly by Nigermaurice(m): 7:52am On Dec 04, 2012
He was the leader that had the intelligence, persona and cunning to save Nigeria-but chose not to
b_Happy: This compilation is by no means exhaustive. It merely captures a few of Obasanjo’s handling of the affairs of his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while he was President and Commander-in-Chief, as well as his tenure as BoT chairman.

THE GOOD
*Refused to sign a document purportedly presented by members of the establishment north, as a pre-condition for their support in the 1999 PDP presidential primaries
* Went round the country campaigning for PDP governorship candidates in 2003 and 2007

THE BAD
*His imposition of Barnabas Gemade on the PDP in 1999 as chairman – Sunday Bolorunduro Awoniyi, who had organized a honourable convention earlier in the year was denied the chairmanship
*How he forced most founding fathers of PDP out of the party
*The taking over of BoT in a coup-like manner in 2007
*Took sides in the Anambra PDP crises, first supporting Emeka Offor against Governor Chinwoke Mbadinuju; and later supporting Chris Uba against Governor Chris Ngige
Cajoled Alliance for Democracy, AD, governors of Yoruba South West who let down their guards, leading to the capture of five of the six states in the geo-political zone
* Deceived President Jonathan into believing that retention of the office of the Speakership in the South West was inviolable – Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the young Turks in the House of Representatives poured cold water on that thinking

*His campaign declaration in Port Harcourt that Rotimi Amaechi’s candidacy had ‘K’-leg
*The open altercation he had with Audu Ogbeh as national chairman
* His alleged inducement PDP members in the national assembly to amend the constitution for tenure extension aka Third Term Agenda
*Muscling of other PDP presidential candidates in 2007 for the singular purpose of installing Umaru Musa Yar’Adua – he succeeded

THE UGLY
*Dumping of Bode George
*Re-zoning speakership to South West instead of Chairmanship in 2007
*Imposition of Yar’Adua on Nigeria
*Imposition of Goodluck Jonathan as running mate
*The way he cajoled Audu Ogbeh and forced a resignation letter off him (on a Sunday) – after eating pounded yam with him in his house just some five days earlier
*The way he danced at Chuba Okadigbo’s House Warming only to orchestrate his removal as Senate President
*The doctoring of the Electoral Act in 2002
*His decision to re-register members and de-register perceived opposition to his Third Term Agenda
*Sudden admonition of Yar’Adua to resign if his health was failing him – mind you he imposed him on the nation
*Amendment of the PDP Constitution making him the only qualified person for BoT chairmanship
*Was a major player in the crises that consumed the Ogun State chapter of PDP, leading to its loss of the state governorship to ACN
*Muscled perceived and real opponents of the PDP using state machinery, the most potent of which was the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC
*His dangerous slogan of do-or-die election
*Making the imposition of candidates a directive principle of PDP policy

Politics / Re: Should Cultism And Cocain Be Legalized? by Nigermaurice(m): 7:47am On Dec 04, 2012
Well, while cultism still involves crimes such as armed robbery and assassination I don't think it would be a good idea, as for cocaine it is far too addictive unlike marijuana which is not as hazardous- So while I think the idea of liberalising some things wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea, cultism and cocaine aren't on that list. By the way I don't support the legalization of cannabis either.

Culture / Re: Aa Female Question For You African Guys by Nigermaurice(m): 3:39am On Dec 02, 2012
I find those among them who grab my attention beautiful and strong and a trait I particularly admire is they are very forward and can be quite frank when need arises,I don't see this trait very often among my beloved women which may come off as rude to some African guys. So yeah I think they're beautiful. Black African girls especially pure sub-saharans are always shortlisted in my preference book, but not being able to foresee the future and loving a person's heart more than race, I would marry one if I truly loved her without hesitation over a holy motherland born black African princess more sub saharan than me. Most African parents would be unsettled at first, but if the girl were hardworking and respectful and sincerely wanted to be a part of the culture then she may as well have been born African, with how thoroughly she would be accepted. I know my parents wouldn't mind and with the factor of already being black it'd be made much easier. I care about African Americans and would marry one of their kin, if they'd approve and I loved her, well, more if I loved her.

(Please note these are by and large just my opinions, though I'm a born and bred Nigerian and pure sub saharan African)

Peace be unto you my diasporic brother in blood, and fellow of the greater human family.

In urmind, I have read your past posts and yes I know what it's like to be an atheist, though I am not one, and yes I believe God can visit you but he isn't a force but a person and may choose to do so or not. I have prayed for you (No condescending sentiment) and also ask you to consider how limited the scope of human knowledge is before you entirely dismiss the possibility of an almighty ever existing being.
