inoki247:Africa lost it the day they allowed the West engineer Libyans to kill Ghadafi. He saw the future that could liberate AFRICA but other African leaders are Western Ass-lickers. Until Africa resolves to develop itself by ourselves, most African economies will remain stagnant. |
Chukist247:While you all are at it. Okowa please leave Delta funds alone. Win or lose, life must continue in Delta state after May 29, 2023 |
phosky:I'm not against the approval but your reasons are superficial. **Note that Lagos was the capital of Nigeria for more than 25years. **ITS HIGH TIME WE ROTATE THE FEDERAL CAPITAL ACROSS THE 36 STATES EVERY 30 YEARS since decisions are often skewed |
Tulsaguy:Honestly if all Nigerians who attended the ceremony collectively stage a walk out on behalf of suffering Nigerians, it will be a message NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN IN HISTORY. Eben the blind or deaf will be compelled to do something. I saw a woman with 3kids cry in the market because all she had to shop with was N2500. People around were moved to assist their fellow human being. From all of us near her she got both cash and food stuffs. The regular Nigerian has a soul that cares but the HARDSHIP IS REAL AND POLITICIANS DON'T CARE |
GLeesMODEL:Na turn by turn..Guy wetin be your tally no. |
lhordspy:Hunger in the land. If things were normal. The right thing would have been to protect it,care for it until the flood recedes and release it back into the wild but hunger-no-gree |
[quote author=FreeStuffsNG post=117321328]Can you please stop sensationalising it as if flooding effect is a competition or these billions you are calling are chicken feeds money. No doubt even N1 loss is a loss but those farms are not worth the amount in billions you just exaggerated it to. That farm in Nassarawa is not worth $140m and does not account for 25% of rice farms in Nigeria so please stop giving false numbers. Rice farms are built in swamp fields and this flooding is one of the risks associated with the business all over the world from US to India to Pakistan to Brazil. *** As the water recedes, the positives will come to bear on the land. You should have dyked paddy rice which is very good too. Its too early in the day for this company to brandish "corroded" profits. Rice farm floods are redeemable in the long run compared to Cotton farm loses. The $140M($20M) won't fly though one is sympathetic to their lose in forcasted profit. |

Hopefully all this noise and bickering will reduce Rivers state funds that would have flowed into 2023 Presidential elections unlike Delta state that has been piped into it at the expense of the state and citizens. |
Im not in support of closure of the plant because of mega loses to all concerned but i will take my views from a different perspective; 1. This is resolvable in a boardroom 2. What is Dangote Group shying away from 3. Has the Dangote Group defaulted on the terms of agreement prior to take over and expansion of the plant. 4. Does Yaha Bello want a percentage of the plant's earning directly to himself. 5. Are investor interests clashing with the state? 6. The taxes are not hidden and conflicts in payment are resolvable by representatives of both parties. The Dangote Obajana Cement Plant is a strategic plant both to the owners, Kogi State Government and the nation at large. All parties involved should thread with caution. DANGOTE GROUP should declare a FORCE MAJEURE on the plant for now pending resolution of this dispute. Acts that can impact its share price should be avoided and lots of businesses will be impacted directly or indirectly negatively. Finally when you give arbitrary waivers or surpress competitors, this is what you get. |
MindHacker9009:Hahahah The revolver any day for me but i do hear the local bullet proof vest works. Not sure i want to put it to test though. I'm still saying we have great minds. Rather than chase boys for yahoo-yahoo, i expected government to create ICT huns to harness the potentials of these guys such that oversea firms start outsourcing services to us. I recall the story of the guy that hacked both FBI and PENTAGON command center. America hired the guy to work for the FBI. Its our call anyway how we want our future to go. |
MindHacker9009:Definitely NOT but we have very positive things from our tradition that we have abandoned. The period i was in my village leading to the burial of my late father. I learnt a lot from the elderly ones while blending in. The bitter leaf plant has so many uses depending on use of stem and leaves versus root. The cassava leaf plus others antidote to snake bite. Ewedu is a delicacy in the west but used in my place plus other leaves and a clayish substance for women who have frequent miscarriage. What am saying is that we should amplify our positives. We even have scientific acts that astounded the whites. I used to be weary of our local traditional rites given recurrent misinformation by our local religous. Today i know better and evil is everywhere in the world. |
Blake755:Quite true |
Joining in now. Not bad so far from results as at 6:40pm. |
KINGinVAHALA:FYI LAGOS WAS THE CAPITAL OF NIGERIA FOR DECADES AND 99.9% OF INFRASTRUCTURE IN PLACE BEFORE YOUR BAT BECAME GOVERNOR IN 1999. This does not mean that i support destruction of public/private infrastructure built for the good of all. The Lekki Toll Gate; We still have videos of before, during and after and posterity will judge all participants. I was born at Lafiaji in Lagos, attended Holy Cross Primary School, Igbobi College, university education from ESUT in Enugu and youth service in Niger State and married to my lovely wife from Kaduna. I AM NIGERIAN. Its the future of Nigeria that we should be concerned about. Get your PVC and vote for whoever you feel will give you the Nigeria you desire. Nigerians maybe elastic in nature but every human being has a breaking point. When they converge its called a REVOLUTION. I pray for peace and a transformation of Nigeria that gives Nigerians especially the teeming youths a guarantee that ALL WILL BE WELL. |
HOW I WISH IT WERE.... |
Now we know which airlines mot to patronize. Also since Virgin Atlantic now permits this then arabic women can wear their full hijab to board the aircraft. Nonsense. Just imagine |
nlfpmod:Our problems did not start today. I'm beginning to think that Democracy is a curse to this country. PDP or APC are one and the same |
akwesenana:Most likely there will be a Prenuptial agreement. |
Firstly I'm against the war between Russia and Ukraine. For Russia to conscript old guys means its youthful population is questionable and by extension its current population size. Secondly its motorized units are questionable given its deployment to Uktaine though some tag it a brotherly war. Finally if you eliminate Russia's possession of nukes they are exposed. Hmmm |
Pls throw more light if you disagree. Im not out to de-market any provider. Their customer care didn't respond to my query hence i hope someone here will educate us. |
agadez007:You were on track until..... I guess you will add:-Goats, fowls, pigs, hogs, cows and more.. The beached whale Yes but... |
EmekaStanley:Its an Antelope but way too small and expensive given its size. You won't get much meat from it as antelopes are runners. You will get more of watery lean fat for now. CAN YOU RELEASE IT BACK INTO THE WILD? Im not sure if you can domesticate an antelope I would have advised otherwise |
HumbleOptimist:Pls take her to see a doctor immediately. Have someone share the room with her for further observation. Talk to her more often and listen attentively. Once what triggers it is known you are 90% down the recovery path. May God's love be with her in Jesus name amen |
JUST OBSERVED THIIS AFTER PLACING BETS ON SPORTYBET. YOU WILL NOT SEE THIS NOTICE BEFORE YOUR SELECTION BUT AFTER. AMONGST SOME GAMES IS A TIMER. WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT DESPITE BEEN A LIVE MATCH. YOU GET THE FOLLOWING NOTICE:- "THIS MATCH CAN TAKE UP TO FIVE DAYS TO SETTLE" SO SHOULD YOU WIN THEY CAN DELAY YOUR WINNING FOR UP TO FIVE DAYS BECAUSE OF THAT MATCH. FOR ME I THINK SPORTYBET MAY NOT BE THAT SOLVENT UNLESS SOMEONE ELSE HAS A BETTER EXPLANATION. MEANWHILE BEWARE OF YOUR OPTIONS. ITS BAD THAT WE LOSE SO MUCH. TO NOW PROGRAM TO DELAY YOUR SMALL WINNING BY 5DAYS IS UNACCEPTABLE. |
KanwuliaExtra:Well Said. Its obvious now that Wike was scheming for the presidency all these years. Just as Asiwaju has been doing given recent outcomes. For Strategy:- Asiwaju-1 Wike-0 For Preparation:- APC-0 PDP-0 For Social Media:- APC-1 PDP-0 |
May 2023 provide the President that will restore dignity to labour. Create the needed stimulus for everyone to earn a living, earn descent wages and create businesses that cater for oneself and family. They say the heart of man is filled with deceit. Nigerians have suffered enough. I pray 2023 will be our turnaround year to achieve more in our different fields of endeavor. GET YOUR PVC and GOD BLESS NIGERIA |
blamingthedevil:Wike if you are so sure of your claims, kindly have an urgent meeting with Baba Obasanjo...E get why |
Hmmm. Bewary of persons crossing over from APC. The octopus might just be at work |
2023 is not about Peter Obi but the desire by Nigerians for something different that can improve their status quo. Labour party is just the platform to achieve this and Peter Obi/ Datti Ahmed have been given the flag and mantle to transform Nigeria. Same way with Abiola/Kingibe but we missed it back then. Now another opportunity has been foisted on us to get it right once more. My only plea is GET YOUR PVC, Come out to vote and ensure your VOTE COUNTS. |
I WON'T SPEAK ON EXISTING BUILDINGS AS THEY HAVE ALREADY SIGNED THEIR DOOMS DAY. FOR THE NEW ONES IN PROGRESS; THESE ARE SOME FACTORS:- 1. MATERIAL TESTING IS NIL 2. BLOCKS ARE NOT MIXED TO SPECIFICATION 3. MOST IRON RODS IN THE MARKET ARE SUBSTANDARD. ( I HAVE SEEN RECYCLED RODS) 4. CLIENTS/CONTRACTORS ARE IN A HURRY 5. NO SOIL TEST 6. CONSTRUCTING ABOVE APPROVED LIMIT; EG:- BUILDING FIVE FLOORS INSTEAD OF TWO. THE LIST IS ENDLESS |
LordviccoDaGuru:Bubu didn't wear nose mask in the USA yet you want persons around you here in Nigery to wear nose mask. Such hipocrisy |
